Today a customer got snippy with me, snapping, “What’s the problem? What’s the problem?” when I went to give him his change from the single bill he gave me instead of taking the extra 50 cents he made his wife get out after he watched me punch in the amount. 

I dunno dude, maybe it was: -you being mad at me for giving you the only coupon we had -me telling you that was only coupon we had -you handing me a $50 bill, watching me enter it into the computer AND THEN yelling at your wife to give me the 49 cents 

But yah, clearly it was me that was the problem

It boggles my mind when customers get offended that I don’t have printed versions of our coupons at the register for them. You are responsible for your own coupons.
