It's been awhile since I last enter Tumblr, the people who I follow are probably not as active as well (or maybe they are).

Tumblr used to be a happy place for me (it's still is good but), but now the content I see has changed so much. It made me feeling sad as the Tumblr I used to open and use every day is looking different already. Like some of the post I see I can't really relate to or it's not what I expected.

How I got into Tumblr was thanks to my sister who one day showed me how cool and simple Tumblr is where things are creative and just wonderful as how I see it, I was thirteen then btw. Not gonna lie, I was very reluctant in getting into social media, so Tumblr was my very first, it wasn't Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Only after a year later, I opened a FB account cause I really had to in order to communicate and relay messages to my classmates.

Yeah, Tumblr played a pretty big part of my teenage days, so many good memories haha since it was my only source in getting information of the things I like. Now that I have other platforms like Instagram I manage to get information there. I do enter Tumblr time to time, I just have to move on and carry on moving along with how everything is.

On November 4th, 2018, Yuzuru Hanyu has become the first man ever to land a Quad Toe-Triple Axel sequence in a competition at Helsinki Grand Prix Series, and in the second half. 

However, did you know that this isn’t a really new element for him? Yuzuru has always expressed to be particularly fond of axel jumps because axel is a considered the king of jumps. Here are 12 moments where he proves to you why he’s the double Olympic Gold Medalist and why he is challenging himself with the Quad Axel now.

First three gifs - triple axel from back counter +3 (perfect GOE under old scoring system) and difficult entry and exit i.e. spread eagle, high kick 

Fourth gif - YOLO3A as we call it. This triple axel was totally unplanned. He did it last minute and as you could see, he intended to do a triple lutz, but in order to get higher points, he switched right back to a triple axel. 

Fifth gif - Twizzle triple axel entry and exit. This is arguably considered more or less difficult than the back counter entry due by experts

Sixth gif - Spread Eagle Backcounter Triple Axel-Double Toe

Seventh gif - Triple Axel from a standstill

Yuzu & Tatiana Anatolyevna Tasarova (TAT) at Rostelecom Cup 2018!

TAT is the Russian National FS team advisor, someone of significant authority and influence in the figure skating field. And she absolutely adores Yuzu ever since her commentating days. Here’s the heartwarming hug they had after the Olympics, she looked so happy for him. She knew how hard he fought, and she is so proud of him. 

Here’s her comment about Yuzu! 

“I was cheering for him too much, too much, I am very happy. He is amazing (incredible) sportsman, amazing figure skater and amazing boy. He is given a lot by god. He is a big talent and it is very rare when talent and hard work are both together. I literally was in tears watching him. I am his fan since ages and I am happy for him, that he became so strong* and when he comes out to perform I feel that he is strong. Now he is strong and I am very happy for him and of course I am very happy also for Shoma Uno.”

*(physically, she always was saying while commenting yuzus competitions that in early times yuzu could do everything but not all together since he was usually getting tired while doing his programs, so from 2015/2016 season she always comments how happy she is that yuzu became stronger and his stamina is better)

Incidentally, TAT was also the one who suggested Notte Stellata to Yuzu :)
