Week 1
Well after a very busy week, I have learned that I need to make some tweeks to my challenge. It was really hard to drink all of that water! On the days I worked out I did really well, but on the days I didn’t.... no.
I also realized that I don’t really like doing that 30 day challenge again. It was pretty boring to me, so I found one that I think will work better. It mixes things up so I think that will be great to keep me motivated.
Below is my new plan...
Food:
Below are my goals for food each day. I have decided to give myself 5 cheats a week (inspired by the 80/20 people out there). These cheats could all be in the same meal: Wine, pasta, dessert, etc or spread out over the week: piece of dark chocolate on Monday, wild rice on Friday,
-Full glass of water with or without lemon right after rising
-small amount of dairy or oats for the AM meal ONLY (it was really hard for me on Whole 30 to never eat oatmeal, protein shakes, or cottage cheese and fruit for breakfast!)
-Zero refined and unrefined carbs unless one of the “cheats”
-No added sugar (Stevia is okay in tea and coffee)
-Protein and a vegetable at every meal (not always breakfast)
-60-70 ounces of water each day
-1-2 cups green tea each day
-take my multivitamin each day:)
Exercise:
Exercise has been hard for me to fit in on a daily basis. My exercise goals are going to sound simple for a lot of people, but for me right now it’s as much as I can handle without flunking out of graduate school!
-November Challenge (see below)
-Hi the gym at least 3xs a week (focus on cardio).
Let’s see how this next week pans out!
