i take great comfort in the fact that stars are always there, you can’t always see them but they’re there. people are like that. it takes darkness for you to see who is truly there for you. sometimes stars change, some fall but another always takes its place.

When I was younger we moved a lot so that meant driving a lot at night and little me always used to look out the window and see the North star. at the time i thought it was like my own star looking out for me, it was always in the same place no matter where we went and it always shone bright. even though everything around me changed, that star was always there, wherever we went and id just watch it as we drove for hours on end. i hope you all can find your North star :)
