I love this scene for 2 reasons:

1- we got to see that ressler is ready to do anything for liz. i mean, our boy scout donald, perjured himself to protect liz even though she told him not to. at this point, i think ressler’s feelings for liz are pretty obvious and i’m sure they’ll be together by the end of the season. (i mean, fingers crossed kdkdkd)

2- when ressler told liz that all of this must have been very difficult for her, she opened up to him. actually, not just in this scene but in 2 whole episodes. this shows that ressler is the only person that liz trusts completely. i think she really started to see ressler.

day six. favorite ‘yes, ressler, we know you love liz’ moment

five words.  i can’t let her go.  sure, it could be taken to mean that he can’t let fugitive liz go, but at this point, after two years of working with her, of helping her, of being with her during her times of need, of caring about her, it’s got to mean more than him just doing his job.  those words hold meaning and this is an extremely powerful scene.
