Tinkerbell, huh?
Summary: Dean gets his ass handed to him, by Briar's Taekwondo Captain and Logan gets the same person smitten for him.
Warnings: sexualising female body, self-defense, slut shaming Dean and profanities.
Word count:3309
Bright eyes watched in awe as she ran toward the boy holding the boxing pad.
Right foot pressed into the pad and leapt through the air, like a leopard.
Stunning and fierce, a force to be reckoned with.
Arms locked against her waist, a fighting stance. Her body spun left leg extending above her head.
Such grace of a delicate swan, to the uncanny eye.
Eyes of innocents, but heart of danger.
βTinkerbellβ¦Iβve found you!β
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Three weeks prior.
Y/n found herself rushing through the passing students, seeking her close friend in this sea of people.
The class ran behind schedule, resulting in her being late to lunch with Jules.
Glancing down she cursed the last message, READ an hour ago.
What the hell could they possibly be doing?
βGee, ainβt that nice.β
She couldnβt place why so many students gathered around the area?
There hadnβt been any student notices about it, so why the gigantic crowd?
The current task at hand deterred as she got shoved further into the crowd, amongst them Briarβs famous two nim rodes.
βHear me, hear me. We have a proclamation, stand by for the proclamation.β
Oh thatβs why.
Standing high and mighty, they wore golden crowns, the blonde sent a cocky grin to a group of girls.
Squeals of delight filled the quiet space.
Disgusting.
βThe annual Maxwell-Di Laurentis Birthday Festivities, will take place this year at the Maxwell summer home inβ¦β
Shoving through the group, Y/n managed to get further away from Beavus and Buttheadβs entourage of fangirls.
βCape Cod. As it is our twenty-second year of gracing the earth!β
She caught the blonde staring her down as she searched for Jules. Displeased, someone wasnβt paying them the slight bit of attention.
βThe theme shall be twofers. Come dressed as your second favorite dynamic duo, after us of course.β
The phone clutched tightly, it gave a silent buzz. Shifting her weight to one leg she glanced down, Julesβ name lit up the screen, the longing message sheβd been waiting for.
βAbout fucking ti,β A solid surface collied into her body, sending her and her bag flying.
βHoly shit Iβm sorry.β
A concerned voice spoke from above her.
Y/n shook her head, βno oh my god, youβre all goodβ¦I shouldβve been looking where I was goinβ¦β her words caught in her throat.
Looking up, bright brown eyes stared down at her, a sight blessed by the heavens. A boy around her age, reached down toward her discarded bag.
Inspecting her laptop, he gave a small chuckle and handed it back.
βMichael Jacksonβ¦I like it.β
Y/n smiled looking at her Michael Jackson decorated laptop, β...thanks?β
βOh where are my manners? Iβm John, but most people call me Logan.β
His smile went straight to her knees, a sway in her body, she returned the smile.
βNice to meet you Johnβ¦or Loganβ¦uhβ¦Iβm Y/n.β
He extended his hand towards hers and gave it a firm shake.
βY/N? Is that you?β
Behind her Julesβ pulled up next to the pair, smiling brightly.
βAhh, I see youβve met my brother.β
Y/n shot a look at the boy who still held her hand and hummed, βYour brother?β
Nodding, Jules came around and stood next to Logan, there was little to no resemblance between the two, but a definite sibling connection.
Who knew her roommate, had a gorgeous brother.
βYeah, sadly.β
Snapping his head towards his sibling, Logan placed his free hand over his heart.
βThatβs cold Jules, so cold.β
Dismissing their brotherβs behaviour, Jules gave Logan a smug look.
βMind letting Y/nβs hand go?β
Shifting his eyes towards his and Y/nβs entwined hands, and gave a slight chuckle.
βNah, I think I might keep hold of her.β
Y/nβs eyes widen at Logan, a blush forming along her cheeks.
Damn hot boy, evil hot boy, sexy hot boy.
Beauβs voice cut through the uncomfortable tension.
βThe party bus will depart shortly after the team busβ¦which will bring you there and bring you back the following morning.β
Nudging Jules, the girl sent them a questioning look.
βWhat the hell are these two numb nuts talking about?β
Pulling their phone out, Jules beckoned the girl to come close.
On the screen was a social media post, DEAN AND BEAUβS ANNUAL BIRTHDAY BASH.
Raising a brow, Y/n sent a quick look towards the two then back at Jules.
βIsnβt that a bitβ¦I donβt knowβ¦likeβ¦childrenβs birthday shit?β
Stifling a laugh Jules placed the phone back in their pocket.
βWith those twoβ¦ brain development stopped at five-years-old.β
Y/nβs lips curved at the comment, a snicker trying its best to form, but faced the two boys again.
βSo be there, orβ¦β Buttheadβs gaze landed on Y/n, his lips formed a smirk before sending her a wink. βBe there, there is no other option.β
Her browns wrinkled in disgust, as the sound cheers echoed through the students.
What a load of -
βSo you two are planning on coming?β
The two roommates answered quickly.
βNo.β
βYes.β
And shared a look, a telepathic argument blossoming between the two.
βY/n, you gotta come. Please?β
Logan watched in complete amusement, even with no words being exchanged, he could hear the conversation occurring.
And with the luck Y/n was having, it wouldnβt end in her favour.
There wasnβt much to say, the boy had experience in this, and instead of stepping in heβd let her find out the hard way.
What a cruel world.
Shifting besides Y/n, he smiled, praying she would submit and come.
βIβll be there if that helpsβ¦?β
Her eyes shifted slightly, something brewing in the e/c pools. A mixture of emotions surfaced then fell, mouth opening then closing.
However, that answer would be, forever lost in history. Never tickling the ears of the Logan siblings.
βWell, well what do we have here?β
A big shadow fell over the trio.
Oh for fuck sake.
And judging from the look on Julesβ face, Y/n knew trouble was aboard.
βFor you? None ya damn business Di Laurentis.β
A deep chuckle came from behind her.
βOh little Logan, always trying to wound me.β
A scoff escaped her friend, βYouβll get over it.β
Moving next to the siblings, Y/n finally faced the source of the irritation.
A 6β4 tall blue eyed blonde boy.
Ahh, dumbassβ¦whoops I mean Butthead.
Casting a look to Logan, Y/n uttered four simple words.
βIs this your boyfriend?β
Gasps filled the winter air from bystanders and the all mighty Butthead.
βWHAT?β
βNo fucking way, this chick, just called me gay.β
Blondie gaped at Logan, who shrugged
βSome help you areβ¦BEAU! Get your ass over here!β
Within seconds Beavus was standing besides Butthead, a smile tickling his cheeks.
Now four sets of eyes focused on Y/n.
βYoung lady, you better have a good defiance against your accusations.β
A shrug rippled through her shoulders, expression bored as she answered.
βWell, that green cardigan doesnβt exactly do you much justice.β
Glancing down at his cardigan, Butthead, mumbled something incoherent.
A dramatic gasp sounded from the boy beside him.
βHis grandmother gave that to him.β
Beavus hissed, and gave the blondeβs chest a firm pat in hopes of lighting his mood.
Tossing her hair to the side, Y/n gave a nod to Jules before leaving.
βIβll see you after practice?"
βYes, Jules.β
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Later that night
βAlright Y/n, thatβs enough for tonight. Weβll pick up tomorrow morning atβ¦ Ten A.M!β
The girl gave her coach a sharp nod, before exiting the studio.
Sweat trickled down her temple as she found herself stepping outside theΒ gymnasiumΒ doors. And from afar saw the party bus load up with people.
Dean at the head of everyone, counting numbers and flashing flirty smiles to passing girls.
βLame ass losers.β
A groan rippled from her mouth as she walked into her dorm building. Jules had been continuously spamming her phone with texts begging her to come.
And from the last one she got, there was already a costume waiting for her in their shared dorm room.
Pushing open her dorm room door, she found Allie standing on her side of the room admiring the Michael Jackson shrine.
The sound of her door closing caught the brunetteβs attention.
βAhh finally youβre here, been waiting forever.β
Her brown eyes took in the girlβs appearance, a crinkle in her nose as she waved the air.
βYou need to showerβ¦like right now.β Before Y/n could utter a protest, Allie shoved the girl into the bathroom.
15 minutes later, Y/n stepped out in a bathrobe and hair towel.
Smiling at the sight Allie brought the make-up brushes out, βLet's get you sexyβ¦Tinkerbell.β
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In front of her, Allie stepped into the crowded house with Y/n trailing behind her in a very, very tight and short Tinkerbell costume.
Every few seconds the girl found herself tugging at the bottom of the dress. Looking like she was ready to tear it off.
stupid damn short fucking extra small.
βWill you stop that?β Allie hissed from beside her.
βOh well I'm sorryβ¦your fucking costume isnβtβ¦fuck sakeβ¦ two sizes too fucking small.β
That answer only earned her an eyeroll.
βOh myβ¦I said quit it.β
The brunette slapped her hands away, before cupping Y/nβs face and bringing her in close.
Foreheads touching Allie gave a firm but gentle glare.
ββ¦it hugs your figure really wellβ¦you got a fat ass to show it off and killer hipsβ¦Iβve seen it in pilatesβ¦so shut up and enjoy the party!β
A sigh escaped the h/c fairy, βFine! but never and I mean never, use those words in a sentence to describe me, again.β
Allie smiled and let the girl go, βDeal Tinkerbell.β
Much to Y/nβs demise the night didn't get any better, finding Jules had become a mission in itself.
She had passed Hannah and Garrett, both parties sending her a wave and thumbs up.
Boys had been trying to grope her, which resulted in her slapping them.
βCan this night get any worse?β
As if the devil himself heard her, blue eyes locked on her from across the room.
Dressed in a Maverick jumpsuit, blonde locks gelled back, a girl hanging off his neck and that stupid smirk.
Well that can change.
Raising her hand she sent him the finger and mouth the words βMANWHORE.β
βAye, Y/n is that you?β
Turning away from Buttheadβs gaze, Y/n found herself looking at her counterpart, dressed in emerald green.
John Logan was her unknown twofer, Peter Pan.
To say she wanted to die right then and there was an understatement, her knees quivered at the sight before her.
The way his green hat titled on his full head of hair to his boyish grin. Oh she was screwed.
βHow does Tinkerbell like the party?β
βShe does not.β
Swooping in next to her, Logan got comfortable next to her and sighed.
βYou know, I canβt blame ya.β
His words shocked her.
One of Briarβs favorite hockey players didnβt enjoy a party, how bizarre is that?
Shaking her head she chuckled at him.
βSo, I hear you have a shrine of Michael Jackson in your dorm.β
She felt her eyes widen, not in shock, more in embarrassment.
βWho told you!?β
Reserving the roles, Logan chuckled at her. His brown eyes playfully teasing hers.
βYour dorm mate.β
βOh yeah? And how exactly did this information come about?β
A blush settled along Loganβs tanned cheeks.
βI asked.β
Cute, thatβs really cute.
Her roommate's brother wanted to know things about her.
The girlβs answer came to a halt, and a familiar beat hit the speakers.
βOh my God I love this song.β
The words spilled out her mouth before she could stop them. From across the room Jules stood coaxing her with a single finger.
βGo! Dance your heart out to Al Caponeβ¦Iβll keep an eye out, Tink.β
Loganβs laughter sent flutters to her core, a simple wink, and they departed ways.
βWell Logan, it seems like you may have your hands full tonight.β
βYeah, I wish Beauβ¦β The tanned boy sighed, swiveling his cup.
βYou saw the way Dean was eye fucking herβ¦and Dean gets what Dean wants.β
Beauβs gaze moved from the boy, and laughed, βSure Logan, but her eyes tell a different story.β
His blue eyes followed her figure.
Arms raised above her head as her hips slowly swayed to the beat, entranced him.
The redhead wrapped around him now forgotten by this enchantress in the Tinkerbell costume.
The green dress hugged her body beautifully, extenuating all the right places, from her boobs to her wide hips and plumped ass.
Allie and the boys werenβt lying, she had the body of a goddess.
Dean felt the heat in his body go straight to his groin, she was enchanting him without her even knowing. Calling him to come to her, to grip her hips, and squeeze her gorgeous ass.
But her eyes were stuck on someone else, following her gaze they landed on Logan.
Laughing at her as she coaxed him over with a single finger.
Something within him didnβt sit right with that sight, he needed to change that.
Even if she called him a βmanwhoreβ he needed to show her, who she should belong to.
And so he found himself discarding the redhead, and like a predator made his way to the green fairy.
Y/n felt a presence behind her, her movement tensed slightly as hands slipped onto her hips and pulled her in close.
She kept up with the beat and lyrics of Michael Jackson to have a care in the world right now.
An image of John Logan standing behind her played in her mind, dipping his nose into her neck, placing tiny pecks along her bare shoulders. And her wish came true, well slightly true.
Damn that feels so good, oh wow.
Her skin prickled at the sensation of his teeth nipping at her neck, making her breath hitch.
A deep chuckle left the stranger's lips as he continued to trail his lips down her neck.
βOh Logan.β
The hands on her hips tightened and slid further down to cup her front.
βGuess again sweetheart.β
Shooting her eyes wide open Y/n found John Logan watching her from across the room, a frown resting on his boyish features.
The fuck? Oh no fucking way. No!
Her hand gripped the wrist, twisting in a painful position causing the person to haunch over in pain.
Dean groaned in pain as she held it, from behind the pair hollered and shouted.
βDamn Dean, she showed you who's boss.β
βFUCK YEAH GET IT GIRL!β
βALLIE!β
βWha?β
Y/n eyes blazed as she twisted his wrist more, earning another moan of pain from Dean.
βHey, hey, Tinkerbellβ¦uhβ¦mind letting my boy go?β
Beau approached the girl carefully, in attempts to not further upset her.
Letting out a huff, she twisted his wrist a little more.
βNext time keep an eye on your boyfriend, okay?β
She hissed, and let go of Deanβs wrist, βor he might find himself cripled from the balls down next time.β
With one final look towards the two boys, she took her leave once again.
Leaving Dean in pain, he managed to stand to his full height and watch her retreating form in complete and utter amusement.
βFuck, sheβs got a fat ass.β
Both boys shared a look between Dean, and slapped him upside the head.
βOw, what the fuck was that for?β
βShe almost whooped your ass.β Beau hissed, as Logan shook his head.
βYouβre unbelievable.β
Their words flew right over Deanβs head.
βYeah, but I would have gotten a good view though.β
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Present
Dean couldnβt help himself, carefully sliding inside he found a seat next to Jules, earning him a scoff from the blonde.
He was entranced.
A week after the party, he began to βstalkβ his unknown TinkerBell, bombarding Jules and the girls with questions about her. From her favourite movie to her childhood pet.
That got him little to no accurate sources of where she would always spend her time, or who she was. If she wasnβt in class, working at Maloneβs and inside her dorm room.
The poor jock had been planning on apologising to her since it happened, the two shared classes but she made sure to be heard and not seen.
So one day when he had been βcasuallyβ strolling through the campus, when he came across his second best source, Allie Hayes.
The girl put up a good fight but finally caved in, to the offer for a three months supply of free coffee.
She told him about her Taekwondo scholarship, the championships, sparring competitions, monthly grading, and teaching younger kids the art of sport.
It all made sense to him now, the skillful defense against him, the disappearing, the dedication to her work schedule.
And here she stood, oblivious to her friends and Dean watching her, now surrounded by a circle of other Taekwondo students.
The instructor called out the commands in Korean, Dean's eyes never left her as she took in a deep breath and got into her fighting stance.
One boy from the group came running at her, attack ready; she deflected it by swinging to the floor in a leg sweep.
By number four she blocked all the attacks, and managed to take down the boy by using his knee as leverage. Both legs swung around his neck and brought him down within seconds.
βOh wow, she's amazing!β
Next to him Jules along with Tucker raised a brow at the Di Laurentis boy.
One by one she took down the other six students, effortlessly like Black Widow.
Little after an hour, Y/n found her own little fan club waiting in the row of seats.
Cheering and hollering as she made her way to them. But her eyes wandered to the tall figure in the back of the group.
Dear God.
He stood out like a sore thumb, towering over the majority of the people in the studio, too tall for his own good.
Amongst being too stupid and arrogant, as well.
A deep sigh escaped the h/c girl as he approached, so much for avoiding him.
Readying herself to move, his hand hurriedly grasped her wrist.
βY/n, can we talk?β
Yanking her wrist free, the e/c girl faced him, expression blank, but nodded and led him out of the studio.
Gripping her duffle bag she turned slightly making sure he was still following her and not tied up in some other side piece.
The cool air hit her face, once they stepped outside.
Dean towering over her, with anxious expression casted over his features, before disappearing.
But she saw it, even if it was brief.
βIβve been meaning to apologiseβ¦ for my actions, at the party.β
Y/n suppressed a scoff, as he spoke.
βI know youβve been avoiding meβ¦and thatβs completely fair-β
She raised a hand, cutting off his poor attempt at an apology.
Her expression was unreadable, something Dean only witnessed with Hannah, Allie and most of all Garrett.
βLook Smauel, Moses, Jacksonβ¦whatever your name is, I appreciate the attempt at an apology.β
Y/n watched as his mouth fell open then closed.
βBut how would you feel if the roles were reversed? Iβm the player and youβre just the choice of the hourβ¦ you knowβ¦trying to have a good night with someone they actually like. but instead gets man handled by some complete strangerβ¦ That doesn't seem fair?β
She caught the gears in his head, that finally began to turn.
βWellβ¦ but Iβm not a strangerβ¦we meetβ¦uh wellβ¦no wouldnβtβ¦umβ¦seem fair.?β
Scoffing, she let out a low chuckle.
βYeahβ¦ well when you change your act, then! Iβll probably consider listening to a walking STD.β
The Past is the Past 2

Their eyes bore into her soft flesh as she entered the school grounds, as she made her way towards her dorm. Slamming the door shut with her back, she stayed in that position. The cool timber cooling her flushed skin. Today's events played a toll on her, emotions she hid, came flooding back. Fresh tears threaten to escape, but she knew better, tears for that prick, would deem her weak and emotional. It gave him strength, power over her, something for him to use.
It killed her how easily he got under her skin, how quickly he could read her emotions without even looking.
Thank God she left when she did.
Earlier
Enid dragged the girl to the end of the highly guarded area, trailing past all metal doors containing deadly creatures behind them. It sent them into a wild frenzy when they sensed the vampire slayer in the building, growling, banging against the steel doors and others hiding away in fear.
Even the famous vampire slayer had her phobias.
"You go ahead, I'll wait for Wednesday...Okay?"
Enid's voice cut through the tension, meeting her gaze, she nodded, reluctantly but continued her exit from this place.
Wanting nothing but to leave this never ending prison, Y/n picked up her pace. Trudding through the halls she found herself passing a zombie. Sensing her presence it shot up and bolted to the door, grunting and groaning as it did so. She too turned around and cameΒ face to face with it.
"Sl...slay...slayer...hyde...ma...ma...te."
Its voice, a deathly echo in her mind.
Nodding her head, she slowly began backing away.
She had enough of this shit for one day.
It watched her form retreat, ignoring his presence altogether, the zombie began banging against the door, grunting loudly.
Finally making it to the end of the corridor, she scanned herself out.
"Have fun seeing, the Hyde, Princess?"
Sighing, she snatched her pass and tucked it in her back jean pocket.
"If you're referring to seeing my psychotic ex who killed my mother, fun? Then sure, asshole."
Shoving past the man, she grabbed her bag and left.
Once outside she pulled out a cigarette and lit up. As she placed the bud to her lips the sirens within Willow Hill broke through the air.
Oh fuck.
Dropping her cigarette, she took off like lightning.
Present
Shaking the memory off, her mother's warm embrace plagued her mind.
The feeling of her comforting arms around her skittish body, protecting her from all the horrors of the world. Her tears no longer could be contained, throwing herself on to the bed she cried, sobbing for her mother.
"Mum...I wish you were here."
Her bedroom door opened and closed quietly, the feeling of her bed dipping she pulled away from her pillow and locked eyes with her crush, Ajax Petropolus.
"Ajax?"
The boy offered her a small smile, opening his arm, he embraced her as she sobbed into his clothed chest.
"It's okay Y/n, it's okay...I'm here and I'm not leaving."
The young slayer muffled a small thank you in his chest as tears began leaving stains on his poor hoodie. The minutes flew by before she slowly regained her composure. Her head was slightly dipped, hair acting like a curtain for her beautiful face.
Leaning in close, Ajax brought both hands to her face, tucking her loose strains behind her misshapen ponytail. Brown met e/c, she looked like a heavenly angel, lashes dark and wet, lips rosy and pouty, he fought the urge to kiss her right then and there. Instead he cupped her soft flushed cheeks in his hands and wiped away her tears with his thumbs.
"I...ha...te him...I hate him so much, Ajax...and seeing him today brought it all back."
The gorgon boy stared deep into her eyes, feeling all the remorse in the world for the girl. Wishing he could take all the pain away and keep her safe from that bastard.
"He's not here Y/n. And if he does show his Hyde ass, I'll stone him to kingdom come."
His eyes twinkled with such beauty.
Beauty.
Something she had never experienced with Tyler.
"Thank you Ajax."
"For you Y/n, I'd do anything."
He whispered, pressing his lips to her cheek.
The heels of her boots clicked against the soundless tiles of Nevermore, as she snuck through the empty halls. She couldn't be late to her late training sessions, or else she wouldn't hear the end of it from her watcher.
Abston was crucial about holding her training sessions at the dead of night, a tactic formed to help heighten her senses for battling creatures of the night.
But tonight, things would take a different turn.
Walking into Principal Dort's office, she found the person she had been looking for, in deep discussion.
The sheriff along with a handful of authorities filled Dort's office, masking a thick tension.
She knew something dangerous was at stake.
"Ahh there she is, the star of the show."
Her arrival shocked the fellow authorities, so much for the stoic tactic they encouraged police to follow.
"Um, correct if I'm wrong... but how...exactly is a seventeen-year-old supposed to help us?"
Oh if only you knew, dear sheriff.
Clearing his throat, Abston adjusted his glasses, before answering the sheriff's comment.
"Looks can be an extremely deceiving sheriff, I wouldn't judge her...just yet."
Rising a brow the young girl smirked.
"Oh...kay."
Principal Dort gestured to the seat before her
"Please take a seat and let us enlighten you."
Moving her feet along the floor, Y/n stood next to Abston, ready to hear the - oh so good - prophecy of her fate being recited for the millionth time.
"So...you're like Buffy the vampire slayer?"
The sheriff's puzzled look was enough amusement for the young slayer.
"That I am, sheriff."
"But...I thought...I thought the vampire slayer was a legend, myth, a bloody tv show."
Smiling, she offered the woman a welcoming jest.
"Well...you were myth-taken."
Standing up the sheriff, shot a look toward Abston then to Y/n.
"Nice Buffy quote...and I assume that makes you... her watcher?"
"Your suspicions are correct, Miss Santiago."
Clapping Principal Dort ceased the intriguing moment.
"Then it's settled, the slayer accompanies the Jericho Police force."
Casting a look toward her watcher, her fate once again was sealed.
"Terrific."
Soon after the deal was confirmed, the two left, leaving Sheriff Santiago and Principal Dort to discuss further plans. The moment Abston closed the door, she jumped into action, her body language gave her away, the bright shine in her eyes told him everything he needed to know.
"I'm all ears, Y/n."
How did he...never mind.
"Abston, I would like you to increase my training...I want... you...to push me harder, stronger... till I break."
Her words shocked the man, never in all his years in being a watcher had a slayer ever asked for this kind of treatment. He knew she was capable of great measures, proving herself worthy every chance she got. Of course he would train to her wishes but he wouldn't let her know that.
Her duty was to keep others safe, and if that meant pushing herself to the end, then so be it.
"I'll think about it."
"Abston I'm not asking, I'm ordering you to. I can't be slack with that...that...psychotic jack-ass around...What if he escapes and attacks, then what?"
"I suppose you're right."
"Hell with 'suppose'...You know damn well I'm right."
"If this is what you want, then I'll deliver."
The older man paused, his eyes never leaving the slayer. Her eyes were filled with emotion, heat, anger, sadness, he could see it, feel it and breathe it.
"Abston, he killed my mother... I couldn't risk another life...unless... it's... mine."
Her words hit him hard, the memories of that night echoing in his mind.
The tears, her screams of pain filling the winter air, so broken, so lost.
He vowed that night to protect her, take her in as his own, keep her safe from that beast, but he knew better than to conceal her. Still, that didn't stop the older man.
The nevermore building caught a light during their training session, Wednesday threatening the young slayer.
"This is my battle Slayer! Not yours! Stay out of it or I will end you."
Raising her hands in surrender, Y/n backed off.
"Fine, but don't come crawling to me when things get out of hand."
Once the Addams girl left, her training began.
Flipping in the air, her roundhouse kick collided with the dummy, scattering dust particles into the air. Another harsh kick sent the cement platform flying, shattering the glass mirror in the fencing room.
"And that'll be seven years of bad luck."
Rolling her eyes she stuck the finger at the man.
"Oh bite me."
"Much impeccable method...real frightening."
Waving him off, she trailed along the row of weapons, contemplating which one to choose.
The red and silver axe sufficed her itch, lifting it up she smiled.
"Per...fect..."
A wave of nausea stole her consciousness, the familiar feeling she got from Tyler's suicide stunt, losing her balance she began to sway.
Her vision became clouded, blinking, she was no longer inside Nevermore, but a cave.
Laurel in front of her smiled caringly, placing a hand on her cheek.
"Do it for mama, Tyler. Let it out."
Their eyes met, and Wednesday in chains crossed her view, along with a figure standing behind her.
Oh this isn't good!
Shaking her shoulders, Abston yelled in the girl's face.
"Y/N!"
His shouts awoke the girl, he ceased his action the moment she came to. Slowly he guided her to a chair to rest as she sat there, axe still in hand. She began to calm her breaths, but the feeling in her gut drove her to believe otherwise.
Something felt off.
The air in the room changed, and smelt deadly.
"What happened?"
"I don't...I don't know...I saw... it was like a vision..."
She paused, catching the movement in the distance, she tightened her grip on the axe. Scowling at the scene unfolding between her and Abston.
Moving to the window, the two watched as the Scooby Doo gang of nevermore snuck out the windows and down the landing, sighing Y/n shook her head.
Idiots.
"Dear God, what are those children doing?"
She twirled the axe in her hand, keeping her words cold.
"Asking for a death sentence!"
Turning away from the window she threw the axe straight into the dummy's head.
"Bullseye, baby!"
The two continued Y/n's training, till she was dripping with sweat. She examined the weaponry in her hand as Abston rambled away, something about precautions...or along those lines. She didn't give a crap, only admired the carvings on the bow and arrow.
"Now in this exercise...are you even listening...? I want you to try using just the bow as a weapon...Y/n! Excuse me, I haven't finished giving the instructions out."
She swung the bow toward the older man,
His reflexes were fast, just dodging the bow coming right around where his head was and crawled away from the girl.
Giggling, she placed the bow down to her side, earning a glare from her watcher.
"Infernal-"
A knock came from behind the door.
"Abston and Ms Dodson, are you there?"
A voice called.
"Oh dear, she's not here with you?"
"Larissa, what is the matter? You look like you've seen a ghost."
William Abston offered the older lady a sympathetic smile, but the gesture wasn't returned.
Stepping inside revealed the girl she was looking for, the older woman's sigh of relief caught the slayer's attention.
"Hi Ms Weems, a penny for your thoughts?"
Her massive height towered over the young girl, but the frightened look in her eyes churned her stomach.
Never in her life had seen someone look so petrified.
Well unless you consider her mother, in her final moments.
"Child, I need you and Mr Abston to accompany me to the sheriff's station...they specifically asked for you."
Y/n's brow raised, why would they ask for her?
She hadn't dared take on this case Wednesday had infatuated herself with.
Sure she offered to lend a hand especially after the death of her mother occurred.
"Oh...um...okay...did they say why?"
"No sorry, my dear."
The three entered the station, Weems was immediately swept away from the two.
They found Wednesday inside the closed off office, guarded by two officers as they spoke.
Unseen by her eye, Tyler watched the young girl stand beside her watcher eyes trained on the situation in front of them.
"What do you think they're talking about?"
Casting a look to the young girl, he noticed her twitch, eyes trained on Wednesday.
"My suspicions, she may have gotten herself into some form of mischief."
She hummed along with him.
The hairs on her neck stood, someone was staring at her.
Trying to calm the off feeling, she rubbed the back of her neck, yet it did nothing.
Searching the station, she examined each and every one of the officers, but they were busy attending other matters, so where was this feeling coming from?
Sensing Y/n's distress, Abston scanned their surroundings, catching the stare of the blue eyed boy, a capsule of pain...in the ass.
"It seems like you have an unwanted admirer."
Abston quietly uttered into the girl's ear. His words tainted with a familiar feeling, one she would use when speaking about HIM. Disapproval.
He ruined her, broke her heart, lied to her.
"Let him look."
"My dear, it seems so he's going to do more than look. You might want to prepare yourself."
The h/c's brows furrowed at Abston's words, she followed his nod, finding Tyler right behind her.
His blue eyes held a frightful aura, many things swarming from within, things that he couldn't speak about. Shaking her head, she casted her gaze back into the office.
"You better have a good reason why you're here."
Tyler held his breath, his mind screaming with the words that fell silent to his lips, the control was strong, prying into his mind like a deadly seed.
Wrapping its poisonous vines around his organs, leaking the disease into them.
"Y/n."
Sheriff Galpin stood in front of the two, gesturing to the girl to follow.
Casting one last look towards him Y/n followed the sheriff inside.
"Take a seat."
She made herself comfortable in the chair across from Mr Galpin, averting her gaze from the lingering eyes behind her.
"Is this regarding my mother, sheriff?"
His eyes locked on her for a moment, briefly then turned away. His fingers drummed along the mantle behind his desk, lost in thought.
Y/n's hairs stood on the back of her neck, the longing settled uncomfortably in her stomach.
"No...This...this is about Tyler."
She gave a sharp nod, giving him her full attention.
"Does he seem different? Last night he told me he was visiting you...but...I had this gut feeling ...that my boy lied to me."
He didn't know. What lies had Tyler been feeding his father, she knew all about their complicated relationship.
The late nights the two would spend together talking about their absent parental figures whilst Y/n's mother was away on a job.
"Mr Galpin, did he not tell you?"
The look plastered on his face was the only answer she needed.
"Tyler and I broke up three months ago."
Sheriff Galpin allowed her words to pierce his mind, and from her spot she could see the dots connecting.
"That little..."
His office slammed open with a frantic looking officer and Abston.
"Sheriff...Tyler's gone."
Flashing lights surrounded the dark atmosphere, foot prints pressed firmly into the soot.
Flickering her torch along the footed path, Y/n knew he was out there somewhere, hiding, feeding she wasn't too sure. Settling her torch to her side, her eye caught a second pair of foot prints, smaller ones. There was another person out here.
"Find anything?"
Shining her torch behind her, Abston shielded his eye from the brightness.
"Sorry...ah yeah actually...look here."
Joining her side, the older man caught the sight Y/n was referring to. Huffing the pair along with the police were no longer on a man haunt for one individual but two.
Present
His office was dark, darker than usual, when she pushed open the door, her only source of light coming from the poorly lit lamp sitting on Abston's desk.
What was once a neat tidy office was now a chaotic mess.
All kinds of newspapers were scattered along the floor, coating the timber wood beneath her feet.
Well, Abston has been busy, she thought pressing further into the room. Numerous articles dating back to the nineteen hundreds, but one dated back in the nineties caught her eye.
Young Nevermore student, found dead.
Carefully she picked up the article, eye scanning across the page as the information sprung to life.
Nineteen-year-old Isaac Night's body was discovered inside the Nevermore Academy's clock tower.
Images of a severely burned body sat under the paragraph. Along with pictures of the recently deceased Isaac Night. Raising a brow, she brought the paper closer, and smirked.
He was quite the looker.
Scolding her playful mentality, she continued to read the article.
Sources state that the young man had been toying around with illegal instruments that aided the outcome of his death.
More pictures of the scene displayed along the page.
It looked deadly.
Others believe Night was trying to conduct a heist against Nevermore Academy's faculty with the assistance of his younger sister Francoise Night.
A picture of a young girl stared back at her, school uniform pressed neatly. Her named buzzed in her mind, she had heard it before but couldn't pinpoint when and where.
However, with further inspection sources lead to the younger Night sibling to possess the Hyde gene, danger to those around her and Isaac Night.
No charges have been pressed against the Night family, via the public council. However, public figures advise that Ms Night seek help from professionals, in order to keep her Hyde at bay.
Police ask to keep away from Francoise Night, as the young girl is deemed a threat to the public. Authorities have implemented security escorts for Ms Night's appearances in public.
Images of papers scattered all over shop windows filled the page.
KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM HER!
HYDES SHOULD NO LONGER LIVE AMONGST THE PUBLIC.
Filling the rest of the article were images of a Hyde, some from a distance and others close up. Its gigantic form caught dead in its tracks staring straight ahead like a baby deer. Its bulging eyes held a familiarity to it.
Fear.
Just like her mother.
The young girl's grip on the paper tightened, out of fear. Flashbacks of her mother's horrified eyes stared right through her, hollow and empty e/c eyes reflecting right before her.
It mirrored the time she finally came face to face with the truth.
Tyler was the beast that killed her mother.
The man hunt had just begun, lurking behind Sheriff Galpin, she knew she would be in trouble if anyone found out.
Abston had been in the middle of his lectures, rambling about poise and precise measures that should be taken by all parties.
But who was she to sit and listen?
The girl had done this countless times, from day dot to present. Back in her old hometown, she had to keep quiet about her status, whereas here she gained the trust of the authorities and residents.
A smile plastered on her lips as she thought back to how welcoming everyone was, so accepting, but that might have been due to the majority of the residents being Nevermore students.
Growls in the distance grew closer but ceased. Silence filled the dimly lit forest, bringing the true horror out and alive. A deathly chill cascaded along her skin, this was a moment where creatures of the night would jump out, but not in this town.
Her fears were dissipated by a familiar screeching and gun shots echoing in the cold air.
"SHERIFF?"
"I found him."
"He's here!"
"Where?"
"Over there! See there's the BEAST!"
Sires amongst tries screeching filled the night air, as she followed through the front of her dawned the truth in face. Its cruel cold hands gripping her cheeks pulling her towards the scene.
Tyler was chained in shackles, glaring his father down.
"Son...this...this can't be right."
His response was a dark chuckle, catching the attention of the girl's watcher and Abston stepped in.
"It was you...all this time...you killed those innocent people...Y/n's mother."
She had enough, standing there like a scared little girl as he laughed away.
Shoving people out the way she finally was in hindsight. A sympathetic look dawned on both men as she came into full view for the boy.
"My mother...how could you...you sick fu...YOU TORE HER TOΒ PIECES!?"
Tyler's face remained stoic, a slight smirk dancing along his lips as she finally connected the dots.
"Shame... it took you this long to finally to realise...honestly I expected you to figure it out sooner."
Images of the beast luring over her mother's poor figure flashed before her.
"SICK...you're sick...she was nothing but kind to you...why?"
Tears stung the girl's eyes as spoke, her mother took him in with open arms, making sure he was okay before he left every time he came over. She gave him all the motherly care in the world, and this is how repaid the debt.
"Because...it was fun...feeling her body squirm underneath mine...ugh... it does things to a Hyde, Y/n!"
She fought the urge to lunge straight for him. But God and the devil had different plans.
The three watched as the boy thrashed in the chains as authorities.
"Let me go...Dad do something...I'm your son."
Tyler watched as his father dropped his gaze to the floor, disappointment written all over Donvan's face. No one could blame him, it came as a feeling of failure, he knew he could have done better to spend time with Tyler but choose not to.
He didn't think this would have been the consequences of it, a beast of a child, killing innocent souls and his girl- ex girlfriend's mother.
Besides him Y/n tore her tear-stained eyes to the older Galpin, feeling his pain.
Tyler's thrashing grew louder, and so did his screams.
"LET ME GO! Y/N...Please I'm sorry!"
She shot the boy one last look, regretting filling her. The internal scolding hushed the moment their eyes locked, she fell in love with a monster and allowed herself to be open with him, only for him to rip her heart out.
"Don't...don't you dare...you'll pay one day...and when it comes, I'll be standing on the other side of the gun."
She finally understood how Belle felt coming face to face with the beast, except this would never end with a 'happily ever after.'
"TAKE HIM AWAY!"
Present day
Those cries stayed with her for weeks, and to then learn that it had been the boy she fell in love with all this time, did something to her.
Shaking off the shiver, she began scrambling through the rest of the articles. Somewhere between article two thousand and four to two thousand and six, the office door finally opened to reveal the man she had been looking for.
"Abston?"
At the mention of his name the man looked up and smiled sheepishly.
"Where have you been?"
As the man prepared himself with an answer, a crash of glass filled the room. Resting between the two was a brick with a newspaper article tapped to its rough surface.

The gold chain slipped through Wednesday's painted fingernails, dangling before him a small open pendant.
The picture inside held the last form of humanity he had.
Tyler's arm held her close; her face filled with laughter and his lips pressed against her flushed cheeks. His only peace from this cruel world, from his inner beast.
Y/n.
Something almost human swirled in his dark orbs, a bubble of hope.
"How is she?"
A twitch in brow broke the boy from his trance, curiosity blossomed within the dark girl's heart.
How could he not recall the events that took place a year ago on this exact day?
Clearing her throat Wednesday spoke.
"That's none of your concern."
Alas she watched in amusement as his brow twitched, he didn't like that answer.
Of course he wouldn't, who would, having only gained a morbid remark and a lack of information.
The snarl that grew on his lips, concluded her queries, but stood her ground as the shackles around his wrist and ankles shook with each step.
"Of course it is...she's, my girlfriend."
Oh, now this definitely will be fun.
"Was...now she rests...peacefully... in an eternal slumber."
"What?"
Horror bubbled through his core; Wednesday's stoic frown broke from its thin line.
Corners of her dark lips turned upwards, a cackle threatening to escape.
Oh this, this is definitely better than attempting to murder Pugsley in broad daylight.
"You Tyler... it was all you."
His smile brightened the room, greeting coffee starved customers with it, as if that mere source didn't hold the fate of life and death within it.
As he played barista to the public eye, something sinister was brewing in the darkness of his core.
The mere thought added more fuel to the fire crying within her ears, nerves that's all it is, and the truth.
She knew for a while something wasn't right, what they used to have disappeared before her eyes.
Tender moments no longer held passion within them, only control and envy.
There had been plenty of warnings from the deathly whispers that kept her awake at night, to the haunting visions during class.
Her abilities were a gift and a curse; most would laugh if she were to cry gospel and some would govern that she belonged inside the walls of Willow Hill, just like her mother.
And yet she still stood there looking him in the eye, keeping the smile plastered on her lips, whilst the truth ate her alive.
His eyes caught hers from across the room, heart growing heavy, she knew the truth, but did he?
Did the blue-eyed boy know of his inner demons, of the beast that resides inside?
But who was she to tell such 'lies,' they were nothing but whispers from within, murmurs from the wind and voices of the dead.
Creeping their cold fingers along her soft skin in the dead of night. Brushing against her cheek in her cold and empty room, whilst she wailed in the dark.
"NO! NO, I don't care...I... can't...please...stop."
Pounding her door down, staff amongst close friends would rush into her room, cradling her, whispering soft nothings to calm her down as she cried for the voices to stop.
"Hey...hey y/n? It's okay Ajax, Bianca and I are here...it's alright." Xavier's whispers cooed her sobs.
Tapping her foot viciously she shook last night's scene out of her head. She needed to get this over and done with, yet the wandering eyes kept her from doing so.
Peaking a glance at the window, she shot Wednesday and Xavier a quick once over, before following through with the task.
Her nerves overlapped her thoughts once more as she watched the last person leave.
"I can do this...I can do this...I can't...Hey Tyler."
Snaking his arms around her waist he pulled her into a warm embrace, pressing his lips gently against her flushed cheek.
"Oh...Hey y/n!"
He mumbled taking in her scent.
Images of unrelated scenarios played within her mind, the fear of him transforming whilst in his embrace shook her core. A dreaded end but a highly likely situation.
Don't.
Y/n could practically feel Wednesday's stone eyes threaten her, she needed to stay cool. This was for the sake of humanity and her own sanity.
Oh how she so desperately wanted to pull back and run.
Run and never look back.
Closing her eyes, she slowly began.
"I...uh...I...Oh shoot...Tyler...I..."
Her hands shook against his hold, noticing Tyler gently took hold of her hand and slowly began running his thumb over her knuckles.
"It's okay Y/n...breathe, remember?"
His voice, smooth and soft, did little to calm the thundering of her heart. Thoughts running a million times the speed than any thought should.
Emotions clouding her eyes every time they would meet, dear God, she wanted to run out that damn door. This needed to be done, sure her fate would be sealed by the words threatening to leave her lips.
"Tyler I...I..."
Her words began to tremble along with her hands.
Scared, she was scared.
That look brought him back to the last time they had been close, when it felt like a relationship, it tore him up inside making things hard to control.
He knew she had been feeling off, but nothing like that night.
Her whimpers stained his mind, but what scared him the most was that he enjoyed hearing her frightened whimpers.
"Oh please, please. I don't ask much from you guys."
The group of Nevermore students stared at the girl's antics, hands cupped together, bottom lip pouting. She was ready to drop to her knees if she had to.
Bianca was the first to speak, head in hand, she knew this was a bad idea, they hardly got along with the Normie kids, but she knew Enid too.
"Enid, you know what they think of us...especially Lucas..." she paused, catching Y/n's stare and continued.
"Especially Tyler...what they did to Xavier."
A chorus of murmurs came from the other five students, leaving Y/n to hang her head in shame. Ever since her friends found out about her relationship with the normie, they had been warning her nonstop.
'He's a bad guy Y/n.'
'Do you forget what he did to me?'
'How? Why?'
'I thought you liked Kent, hell even Ajax!'
'There's something about him I don't like, that sheriff kid.'
But the quiet girl watched her friend throw her back letting out a frustrated groan.
"You guys are just as bad as the rest of Jericho...They've changed, I've seen it...so has Y/n."
Oh God! don't bring the attention here, oh too late.
Peaking up she saw the group's eyes trained on her, but what Enid said held some truth to it.
"Well Y/n, it's your call."
Her mouth gapped a little, they could see the gears in her head turning, either way she would end up going. With Tyler already inviting her, sure he was her boyfriend, but having extra support wouldn't hurt, could it?
The young werewolf's eager eyes held a pleading look.
Letting out a sigh, she made her call.
"We'll go."
The night of the party
Enid happily skipped alongside Y/n, tugging the banshee hand and giving it a squeeze every now and then.
All week long she had this guttural feeling, something she found so hard to push away, and worsened every time Tyler was mentioned in conversation, or when he would text or call her.
Out of all the girl's friends Bianca had noticed.
An hour before
The lipstick tube halted in the siren's grasp, blue eyes trained to the scene in the mirror, Y/n had been shuffling through her closet, pushing a side of clothing she didn't fancy too much when her phone dinged. Then again, another.
Y/n's form stayed situated in front of the opened closet, refusing to acknowledge her phone.
Then her phone began buzzing rapidly, an incoming call. Bianca watched as the shoulders dropped a little as her friend made her way toward the phone.
Reaching out, she paused watching his name light up her screen, his picture smiled back at her, bright blue eyes crinkled with glee.
Yet why did it bring her so much anxiety?
Finally giving in she answered the call, her voice held anything but joy.
"Hey Ty."
Bianca could make out a little of the conversation on the other side, muffled but audible.
"Baby...why didn't you answer? I thought...something happened...is everything okay?"
"I'm...I'm fine Tyler really...I was just with Bianca...yes...yes...I know..."
Her friend sighed, and placed a hand along the bottom of her stomach.
"I just wanted to hear your voice...my dad...ya know...did you want me to pick you up?"
Y/n's brows creased, she didn't want him to come and pick them up especially with Tyler's history with Xavier.
"I know...no! Sorry I mean we already organised something with Principal Weems...but thank you...babe."
To Bianca's ear that last word sounded forced now, it never did before.
"I'll see you in a bit."
Placing the phone down, Y/n rubbed her temple before going back to the task at hand.
Dressing herself in an appropriate outfit, pulling the black tank top over her head, she grabbed her vintage burgundy cardigan and slipped it on.
Her darken jeans held her thighs tightly showing off her back side, full and plumped, something he liked to hold when they walked together, the memory brought a vicious shiver to her warm body.
She didn't do much with make up even when Enid insisted, she try the blood stained lip oil, mascara will do.
The group of seven awaited outside the door, anticipating the night's events that awaited them behind that door.
How Enid let Y/n choose was beyond everyone, even her, and if something were to go wrong it would be all the banshee's fault.
She couldn't bear that burden.
She felt a tug on her sleeve, looking behind her she caught his sympathetic brown eyes, a small smile on his lips brought just behind her ear.
"You okay?"
Of course she wasn't, and he knew, but he wanted her to admit it.
"Yeah...I'm fine Ajax really."
Shrugging his shoulders leaned away and the door opened.
When he entered the party she had her back towards him, deep into a conversation with Ajax and Xavier, two boys who treated her like their own sister.
His body stiffened at the sight, a change came over him, his bubbly personality became predatorial and possessive.
Quietly he slipped in beside her, wrapping an arm around her waist tightly, marking what was his.
Her breath caught in her throat from his sudden appearance.
"Tyler...god you scared me."
The two boys turned their attention to the new addition, Xavier mumbling 'hello,' before leaving the three to find Yuko.
"Hey Tyler-man...Good to see you...we were just keeping her warm for ya."
Ajax smiled, and gestured to the girl.
Tyler gave Ajax a short nod and thanked him, turning his attention Y/n he nodded to the stairs. Pulling her gently with him, stealing a peck on her cheek, which she returned planting herself on her tippy toes.
His eyes found hers within seconds, dark and heated, but still smiled at her.
The two walked through the crowded area, seeing all walks of life enjoying themselves and becoming rowdy.
When he stepped through the front door she felt it, a power coming from him. He was more out there than usual, a mix of his old self and something new.
No, there was nothing different with Tyler, he's probably going through a hormonal thing.
Being eighteen it would make sense. She felt his hand slide down back and rest on her bottom. A symbol of dominance and territory. A normal act upon his part, something he liked to do.
Tyler slowly patted her behind before he gave it a light squeeze. Earning a little gasp to emit from the smaller girl.
The sound felt like music to his ears. He dropped his head in the crook of her neck and murmured into her skin.
"I...had an argument with my dad before I left...hence why I was late."
Her gentle hand patted against his tuffs of hair before trailing down to his cheek.
"I'm sorry Tyler...give him time...I'm sure he'll come around."
She whispered as they approached Lucas' spare room and opened the door. He smiled at herΒ like a gentleman, an action he wanted to toss out the window as the door closed.
Just the mere thought of her naked body sent him into a frenzy, groping, cupping, nipping her every inch and the tightness in his pants growing stronger.
Going deeper into the room Y/n keptΒ her eyes trained to the floor. The quietness finally took its toll on the young girl, this had been the first time in a while that they were alone, away from the rest of the world.
But her mind went somewhere else, the night terror playing on repeat in her mind, making her stomach churn.
She tried her best to hide it but Tyler noticed, he always did from when they first started going out he could hardly get her to hold eye contact with him. Or when he would casually drape his arm her shoulder she would panic stating something about being a good girl.
They had been dating for three years, meeting at the age of fifteen in the little coffee shop, but he was the one who saw her and fell first. Not even knowing her name, he knew she was meant to be with him. And when she laid eyes on him and shyly turned away, he was wrapped. A love sick fool.
Taking cautious steps he closed the distance between them, tucking a finger under her chin and bringing it up, he finally found those soft eyes he fell in love with.
"You're doing it again, Y/n?"
Words caught in her throat, she failed to answer him, getting lost into those baby blue eyes.
A mysterious effect he had on her since day one.
"...I..."
Flustered and nervous, he gently brought his large hand to cup her cheeks, the bottom of his palms nested on her neck, stroking both sides of her face as he looked into her e/c eyes.
A smile formed on his lips, as he felt her hands reach up and grab his hands.Β
"Baby if you don't tell me what's bothering you, we'll ya know...never be able to...Gee... Y/n... the effect you have on me...drives me insane."
His words drowned into moans as their lips connected, a beautiful romantic gesture between two lovers.
Rough hands trailing down her body and rested under her bottom and thrusted her up with great strength, like she weighed nothing.
That was new.
Her jean clad legs wrapped around his waist like a perfect fit.
"I love you so much."
He whispered, placing her down on the bed, and connected their lips again.
There was so much passion in their make out session, his hand trailing along the curve of her bottom, giving it a tight squeeze, his actions earned him a loud moan from her. She could feel him smirk into her lips.
Cruel words tickled her ears, as his lips came down to her neck, but they weren't his.
"Monster."
She froze, they were here, they followed her.
"He'll change...he already is."
"No." She whimpered.
"He will become your demise."
The voices grew louder and more distorted.
She began to breathe quickly, sensing her panic Tyler pulled away.
By God how he regretted it.
Looking above her a large beast with bulging eyes stared back at her. The girl's screams shook the whole house, like a banshee.
"MUM...MUM...XAVIER! HELP ME...oh God help me."
Within seconds the bedroom door slammed open to reveal the Thorpe boy.Β
"Help me, please."
Panicked Tyler climbed off the bed, allowing Xavier to calm down the hysterical girl.
"Shhh, hey Y/n. I've got you...I've got you; Ajax go get Bianca and the others."
"It's going to kill me...he's going to kill me."
Concerned for his girlfriend, Tyler appeared beside the Thorpe boy, causing the girl to flinch.
"He's going to kill me."
Tyler could only watch as his girlfriend cried, flailing her arms in Xavier's hold.
"Who? Y/n...What did you see?"
Her cries grew louder the closer Tyler got; he had never seen her so petrified...of him.
The girl he fell in love with, now wanted nothing to do with him...what the hell did she see?
And why did it bring him so much amusement?
"I...I...I want my mother...I want...my mother."
Back inside the cafe
Tyler's brows furrowed at that, allowing it to be the past and focused solely on the girl in front of him.
"Y/n? What's got all frazzled?"
Say it Y/n.
Set yourself free.
From this monster.
"Tyler...we...we...I can't be with you anymore...I'm sorry."
Laughter burst through the young boy.
"Yeah...nice one Y/n... what? Did Wednesday put you up to this?"
This hadn't been the reaction she was seeking, but it was better than the one she had been gearing up for.
Shaking her head she met his gaze again.
"No Tyler...I'm sorry...I just...can't do this anymore."
She saw the nobs in his head turn, calculating, scrutinizing her words, as a cold glare washed over his eyes.
"Huh...enlighten me Y/n... does this have something.... to do ...with, the night at Lucas' party? Because you've been avoiding me all month since then?"
He questioned, knowing he had her in a tight hold, nowhere to go, nowhere to hide, only him and her.
Baffled, the girl in front of him was having a hard time forming an answer.
"We can stay here all-night Y/n... I've got nowhere special I need to be."
He chuckled, waiting patiently as he trapped her body between him and the booth.
"Please Tyler...I just want to go home...Please...let me leave."
Her pleads fell deaf to his ears, nah there was no backing out of this now.
He needed; no, he deserved an answer and an answer he will get.
"Tell the truth and I'll let you go."
Damn Wednesday, and her screwed up plans.
"My mother...she doesn't want me to be around you anymore."
Her answer didn't sit well with him, knowing a great deal that this indeed was anything but the truth.
"LIAR!"
"Tyler please you're scaring me."
Slamming his fits against the table, he demanded her to answer him properly.
"Fine...fine...I'll you."
Flinching away from his touch, she finally gave in.
From outside the cafe window, Xavier watched in anger as his best friend cowered in fear.
"Come Xavier, it's getting late."
With no power, he followed, trying to shake the screams coming from within the cafe's closed doors.
Tyler's knees gave out, tears burning his eyes as the events came flushing back before him.
"But...I...I... love her...Oh God..."
His agony filling the empty halls of Willow Hill
"LIAR...you're a god damn liar Wednesday Addams."
Turning her back to boy she uttered once last sentence to him.
"I only tell the truth Tyler."

βSo much for watching Pulp Fiction.β
...
Her boots clicked along the wooden floors, her torch shining in each and every room they passed, the only thing that caught her eye were the cobwebs and dust floating in the air.
Damn this place needs a good cleanβ¦and a window open.
βHey check this out.β
Y/n made her way to the curly haired boy and peered over his shoulder.
The two wore the same dumbfounded look, torch lights flashed into the room revealing a sight none would have guessed retired in the old abandoned manor.
β Looks like aβ¦β
He paused sparing a look to the young girl, her eyes trained on the objects inside, the gears in her head kicking into overdrive.
βLittle girlβs room.β
Y/n finished stepping foot into the room, the torch light engulfing the room in a white light, enough to get a clear view of the information inside.
βItβs a littleβ¦ya know, creepy.β
She decided to ignore his light hearted comment, they were only here to gather information not spare small talk. She didnβt like the boy that much, considering their past.
The memory flashed before her eyes, there stood a five-year-old Y/n and Mrs Galpin, the little girl followed the older woman into the kitchen waiting anxiously for the news she was about to receive.
Placing the young Y/n on the counter, she pulled a small gift from behind her back. The older woman watched the excitement build in the young girlβs eyes.
βOh wow, aunty Francie, is this for me?β
Chuckling at her words she nodded, βYes it is my little phoenix. Itβs a very special gift for a very special little girl.β
Placing the perfectly wrapped box in her little palms, she opened the lid to reveal a golden necklace, a red rose embroidered into the centre of the locket.
βWowβ¦pretty.β Her little gasp not going unnoticed.
"Now, Y/n. This gift was given to me by my older brother, and now I'm giving it to you...But you have to promise me something little phoenix. Can you do that?"
The young child nodded her head happily, "yes, I promise.β
"I want you to promise me that you'll look after Tyler for me. No matter what he does. No who he becomes, Y/n. Can you promise me that, Y/n?"
A whine left the young girlβs lips, βDo I have to, aunty Francie? Tylerβs not nice to me.β
Francoise, cupped little Y/n smiling at her, βI know my little phoenix, give him time, trust me. Youβll be surprised whatβs underneath all that boyish mind.β
"Okay Aunty Francie, for you."
Francoise Galpinβs words echoed through the h/cβs mind. A promise she intended to keep till the day she died.
Her cousin Xavier warned her about him when they were younger, the funny thing was she already knew.
Even though their mothers were childhood friends, the two children did their best pretending to like each other.
She had been assigned to tutor him, the boy was failing in English and History, his father was desperate, nobody wanted to tutor the troublemaker sheriff's son.
He went to his last resort, the neighbourβs daughter, Y/n. An excellent empathic clairvoyantβ¦sorry I mean student.
When he first came around Y/n was alone with her cousin Xavier, the two had been mid way through Xavierβs plan for the Outrage day display. Papers of countless sketches scattered along the table as the two conclude the best design.
Past
Each displayed a different emotion, Xavier asked his cousin to read them, and find what emotion they gave off.
The young girl was a strong empath and clairvoyant, being from his motherβs side of the family it all made sense.
βSoβ¦uhβ¦have you heard from Jordan?β
Her cousinβs question hung in the silent house, flipping through the scattered papers along the table, she shook her head.
βNo, not since the incident.β
The boy hummed, nodding along with her comment.
He knew she was hiding something, an internal debate steering through the aura of the house. It was strong, she was strong.
Pros of both parents being strong empaths and telepaths. The clairvoyance her own ability developed for her and her only.
βUh Xavier?β
βYeah?β
The boy watched his cousin fiddle through his drawings, admiring the fine penmanship of his work.
βYou remember how I used to have dreams of that weird scientist man, right?β Her eyes found his, and he nodded.
βWell theyβve started up againβ¦ ever sinceβ¦ Tylerβs mumβ¦passed.β
Coming around the corner he carefully examined his cousin, as a child she used to complain about these strange dreams about a young man in a laboratory.
Concocting God knows what.
Threatening her, taunting her, whispering in her ear at the dead of night.
βIβll be coming for you soon my dear Y/n. If not today, then tomorrow. Someday.β
βAndβ¦nowβ¦now she tries to warn me, I donβt know what about, or who about but it scares me Xavierβ¦I hate it.β
He heard her desperate cries, trying his best to come up with an answer, observing her, his eyes fell to the necklace resting comfortably on her chest.
The pendant twiddling between her fingers as she desperately waited for an answer, for truth, for something.
βIt all started when you got that necklace? The nightmares, the sleep walking to the cemetery, the whispers?β
Y/n nodded along to each question he asked, βYeah they did.β
βAnd who exactly gifted it to you, Y/n?β
βFranciose Galpin, Tylerβs mum. For my fifth birthday party.β
βHmm, and all this has been playing up again since her death?β
She nodded again.
βYepβ¦sorry letβs get back to more important things.β
Knowing she wouldnβt take no for an answer he followed her disposition and went back to what they were originally doing.
Smiling at her cousin, the h/c girlβs nail lightly trailed down one of the scribbles, blinking back the burning sensation in her eyes.
Xavier came from behind her and propped down another piece of paper, βHow βbout this one.β
Her nose wrinkled, eyes still closed, she shook her head before mumbling.
βHas no heart to it.β
Taking in her comment Xavier stood up and tapped his chin.
These were all the finished ones, he was debating about showing the latest one he was currently working on.
Casting his eyes to his backpack, βHold that thought.β
Hearing her cousinβs words, she slowly peeked an eye open to his crouch form.
βAnd no peeking Y/n.β
Cursing his sensitive senses, she stuck her tongue out and closed her eyes once more.
Stepping around her he placed the parchment down under her palm.
βOkay, uh, this one isnβt finished yetβ¦β
Her gasp cut off the dirty blonde, his cousinβs eyes were swimming behind her lids, she had found something.
βDanger! Danger is among us, she will bring forth the terror hidden within the boyβ¦ motherβ¦ notβ¦β
The young girl began gasping for air, her head snapped back and eyes flew open. Xavierβs panic grew, gripping her hand he ripped off the page.
The last time he had seen her do this was during her sixth birthday party, their grandmotherβs funeral and with Jordan.
βY/N!β
The two collapsed to the floor, she inhaled a big breath grasping her cousinβs shirt.
βCreate it!β
His protests went silent as the door bell rang, she shared a look with Xavier, getting off the floor, she went to grab the poker from the fireplace as he grabbed the small shovel.
βAre you expecting company?β
She shot him a look, and he got his answer. She held a finger to her lips, silencing her cousin.
They could hardly make out the outline of the figure, noting it was definitely a man.
Prying the door open, the sheriff was met with two teens holding weapons in a manner of action.
βWoah, woah calm down.β
Sighing Y/n and Xavier dropped their weapons to the floor.
βHow can I help you Sheriff Galpin? Has Elvis gone missing again?β
The man shook his head, his light blue eyes squinted behind the young girl.
βBoyfriend?β
Turning slightly she let out a little chuckle, βNo sir. Cousin actually.β
Humming in amusement, he politely gestured for her to step outside.
βI apologise for scaring you dear.β
Her hand waved him off slightly, βNo need for apologies sir.β
Noting her words he continued, βI need to ask you a favourβ¦β
She ceased her movements, her e/c eyes examining his features, she didnβt dare to pry into the sheriffβs past, that happened once when he came to apologise for Tylerβs behaviours when they were children.
Ten years agoΒ
He pushed the poor girl off her bike. Her palms and knees grazed the asphalt, scraping the soft childβs skin.
Her chin collided with the hard ground, chipping her baby tooth in process, his laughter echoed behind her, drummed in her ear.
She couldnβt let this defeat her, the stinging sensation burned but she didnβt care she needed to show her guts, continuing to push herself up, blood pooling the concrete.
She stood tall, wiping her cheeks dry, the fresh blood smearing her pink cheeks.
The boy's laughter died down, she stood in front of him, eyes red raw, lip pouted in frustration.
Bringing her fist back, she brought it forward with all her might, knocking him straight in the nose and dropping to the ground with a thud.
Calls from behind the two grew as both childrenβs mothers came flying out of nowhere, shame the two best friends watched their children despise each other.
The girlβs father, Salvatore, loved it.
How his daughter didnβt take shit from anyone.
From the far window he watched the scene play out and celebrated the K.O.
βY/n?β
βTyler, oh hunny are you okay?β
His mother held her boy gently, his groans concerning her every minute.
βY/n, what happened here?β
Her motherβs voice was stern and threatening to take a look into her mind if she didnβt tell the truth.
βWell..β Y/n began, before another voice came to the rescue, her father.
βA bunch of dumb kids came and shoved Y/n to the groundβ¦Tyler here, saved my little flowerβ¦Didnβt you, boy?β Salvatore smiled, eyes glowing.
Tyler nodded, crawling further into his mothers breast.
β¦
Blue eyes desperate, she offered the older man a smile.
βSo, what can I do for you sir?β
β¦
βHe asked you what?β
Seated across from her cousin, she took in his movements, yapping away about how intolerable Tyler had been over the years to now.
Rolling her eyes, she tipped her head to the side.
βI knowβ¦I know Xavierβ¦β
His hand rested on his temple, taking a deep breath he gathered himself.
βThat βhot shotβ wanna be, bullied me, and gave you hellβ¦and is now treating you even worse.β
Y/n shot up from her seat ready to defend her neighbour, but Xavier was right even after everything that happened with his mum doesnβt excuse his actions.
βEspecially after his mother died.β
He slumped back into the nearby chair, opening the window for some fresh air.
The arguing from the house next to them, ceased their conversation.
Sharing a look the cousins moved closer to the window, watching the scene play out in front of their very eyes.
Mr Galpin had a resting hand on his forehead, shaking his head ever so slightly not noticing that his window was wide open.
βTyler, it's for your own goodβ¦β
The teen in question, finally appeared in the kitchen, seething at his father.
βHas he gotten taller, or is it just me?β Xavier's voice whispered in her ear, slapping him upside the head, Y/n shot him a look.
βI am not letting her fucking tutor meβ¦she a fucking freak! A disease."
Snapping his eyes towards his son, Donivan Galpin shoved him into the nearby wall, nose to nose.
βDonβt you speak to me like that. You think she wants to waste her time with scum like you?β
He stared deeply into his fatherβs eyes, anger and disgust rippled through them. His blood began to boil, Donvian never spoke to him like this, not even when he caught Tyler in the act of mischief.
Ever since his mother passed, something within the two changed, separated them.
No longer a father and son relationship, coated with love, only vexation and resentment.
βSheβs only doing this for me, her mother and your mother.β
Shoving his dad off of him, Tyler walked off.
βKeep that attitude up and Iβll send your ungrateful ass to military school.β
Present
Her fingertips brushed delicately along the bookshelf, scanning all the first edition collections of Edgar Ellen Poe novels.
She hummed in amusement, carefully picking one of the hard cover books she gently sat on the floor and opened the dusty book to a random page.
Inhaling deeply she rested her left palm on top of the yellow stained pages, and began channeling the connections from above and beyond.
βI donβt think you should be touching that Y/n.β
His torch light flashes in her sensitive eyes, blinding her in the process.
Raising a hand to shield her eyes, she sighed, shooting him a knowing look.
βTyler, I am a clairvoyant. Which means I have to touch stuff, whether or not I like it.β
Her voice fell silent as she regained her position, eyes closing, clearing her thoughts to nothingness, as she focused on the energy within the book.
βRight, I guess I forgot.β He mumbled, rolling his eyes.
An image of a young girl with orange hair filled her sight, black square glasses, hazel eyes.
Tyler watched as the young woman took her spot on the ground again and began her thing.
Which led to him trying to find something to distract himself so he wouldnβt stare down a certain clairvoyant, he would never admit but he always felt a connection to the girl.
Shoving it off as a silly hormonal phase, but things only grew stronger during his tutoring lessons.
He saw her in a new light, the glow behind her every time their eyes met, made her seem like an angel, and when she would speak, she sounded so pure and hypnotizing.
During one of his tutoring sessions they had been preparing for their English exam, the night before - coz who studies weeks in advance.
Past
She paced up and down the kitchen, phone pressed to her ear as she listened, agreeing along with what was being said.
βYes I know Jordan.β
Pausing her movements she made eye contact with the boy at the table, mouth slightly open, she shot him a fake smile.
βIβ¦would you let me talkβ¦thank youβ¦one more year babe and Iβll be set for college.β
He practically hears the disapproval in his voice.
βY/n I donβt want you tutoring him, Xavier doesnβt want you to do this either. Thatβs more than enough to drop him and focus on yourselfβ¦on us.β
The frustration on her face grew deeper, sighing she leaned against the sink, resting her head on her palm.
βI need the money, with my job at the bookshop and thisβ¦Itβll be enough for us to get a place and goβ¦yesβ¦yesβ¦of course, but youβll have to sit in the lounge until Iβm done babeβ¦uh huhβ¦I love you too, see you soon.β
The thought of seeing his old mate made his stomach turn.
βPlease donβt tell me that dick is coming over?β
Sighing she pushed forward off the sink and met his gaze, nodding.
βYes that βdickβ is coming. Play nice and I might let you go home early.β
Tyler grew frustrated with the note taking for an essay, noting down useless information about the three topics, only one being on the exam.
His hands slammed on the table losing every strand of patience he had, ready to flip the table in anger, when she chimed in.
βIf you flip my table over youβre paying for it.β
Rage filled eyes turned in her direction, the h/c position comfortably as she jotted down one last sentence before turning to him.
βAnd if you fail this exam, your father will take matters into his own hands.β
How she had been right, a week later he had been shipped off to military school, after the stunt he pulled at Outrage Day ceremony, jeopardising the growth of their potential friendship.
Present
A scream echoed through the halls, throwing the young clairvoyant off track. Peeling her eyes open, the dark dusty room was empty, no Tyler, no whispers, nothing.
Shaking it off Y/n regained her composure and began channeling again, closing her eyes she took a breath.
Flashes consumed her sight, panic faces, misty white smoke swallowed her mid section, eyeless people breathed down her neck.
βBestia intus eum vocat te. Tu es ille. Ille est tu.β
(The beast inside him, calls you. You are him. He is You.)
Enidβs and Xavierβs screams snapped the young girl out of her reading.
βWEDNESDAY!!!β
Booming steps vibrated the floor, beneath her, heading straight toward the h/c girl.
βShit, shit, shit.β
Panic rushed through her blood, she couldnβt get to her feet fast enough.
The creak of the wardrobe door swung open, waiting for her to jump in, slamming the door shut.
She switched off her torch and waited.
Growls, and heavy breathing plagued her surroundings. Itβs thundering steps prying closer to the wardrobe, daring to give her hiding spot away.
The shadow loomed over the tiny opening of the wardrobe and peered in, huffs of air blew from its mouth, this was smart, too smart for her liking. Its bulge eye caught her hidden form and growled.
Y/n saw that it swung its arm back ready to strike, in efforts to shield herself she pushed back further into the wardrobe and fell through a little opening.
Groaning, she placed a steady hand on the creaking misshaped wooden floor and pushed herself up.
Hidden relics sat above on timber planks. A little music box caught her attention.
She examined it carefully and holding it up she noticed an engraving on the bottom.
βLaurel Gates?β
Opening the box it began to play an angelic melody, capturing the attention of the being outside, the growl shook her to the core and caused her weight to snap the timer below her.
Dropping through the planks the girl fell through walls of Gates Manor, breaking through countless timber planks holding the foundations with the place.
Crashing through the little opening at the bottom she lay face down on the stone cold floor of the dark cellar.
The scent of freshly drawn blood and rotting flesh stuffed her nose, the sting sensation along her body indicated where the blood smell came from, the other, unknown.
Blinking rapidly she slowly regained her awareness, a groan left her lips, rubbing her head a knowing sting filtered through her head.
Dizzy and sore she began searching the cool tiles for her only source of light.
Her torch.
Moving her ankle she felt something cold like metal rub against it, βfound it.β
Flicking the light on, Y/n felt something lurking in the far corner of the basement.
Shifting her gaze behind her she quieted her breaths and listened, a low growl rumbled through the dark area, and in that moment she knew her life was at stake.
A slow calloused step came from the shadows, a choked sob threatened to spill through her trembling lips.
No, she cried.
Her breathing became ragged and hysteric, from above Wednesday and Enid poked their heads out shining their torches down at her.
Ready to call out Y/n silenced them by placing a finger to her lips.
The girls got the drift from the growls echoing below them.
Crawling further into the little area Y/n began praying, desperate for someone or something to save her.
Prying her eyes open she watched in fear as the creatures elongated claws wrapped around the opening of the broken wall.
Peering its ugly head into the small opening, hollers and shouts from within the manor echoed through the thin walls, diverting its attention from the frightened girl.
Retracting from the small enclosure it made a bee line out the basement.
Leaving Y/n to grasp her mental state, the screams and frantic footsteps in the distance gathered her the tiniest will to crawl out the opening.
Stepping out she was met with the silence again, every noise in the manor disappeared in the dead of night.
Her shaky hands flicked on the torch and shined it around the cellar, and in the far left hand corner laid a fresh pile of blood, a figure standing above it.
A ragged breath caught in her throat as she tried her best to calm her nerves. The head snapped up and stared directly at her before it rushed forward slamming her into a nearby wall.
βTHIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! HE WAS LET INTO YOUR LIFE! AND YOU LEFT ME TO DROWN!β
His cold hands wrapped around her throat, sealing off her source of oxygen.
His black hair damp, green eyes now shined red, skin ice cold. She knew this wasn't him, but something about it felt real.
Clawing at his hands her vision began to cloud, βPlease, Jordan...I'm sorry... I didn't know.β
βBestia intus eum vocat te. Tu es ille. Ille est tu.β
(The beast inside him, calls you. You are him. He is You.)
He whispered into her face like a cold breeze and in a blink of an eye he was gone, rubbing her eyes, she took in her surroundings.
Y/n was no longer in the Gates cellar, but a bedroom.
People surrounded the room struggling to contain the person laying down in the bed. Her heartbeat began to pick up with each step she took. The closer the louder it became.
Painful and lost.
Shivers ran up her body as the memory played out, the hissing and growling apprised her worst fears from her past. Standing at the foot of the bed, she watched the pure chaos unfold.
The hissing died into sobs, Francisoe Galpin laid restrained to the bed.
Opening her green eyes, she sobbed harder, βHelp me, Jacinta! Help my baby. Please.β
A deafening wail ripped through the girls lungs as the scene brought itself to life.
Somewhere within the Gates Manor Tyler came out his hiding spot and waited until the coast was clear.
Closing the door behind him, his hearing picked up on the faint wailing coming from inside the manor.
Rushing back upstairs to where he left y/n, he prayed she hadnβt been hurt or worse killed.
Peering in he was met with darkness, to sign of a living soul here, only the book laid flat against the floor.
βShit.β
The screaming echoed louder within the room, drawing the young boy to the dusty wardrobe.
Moving quickly, Tyler found himself peering down an empty slot.
Broken by body weight, he made out the faint sound and light coming from below.
Descending down the cellar stairs, the sight in front of him terrified his insides to their core.
Y/n stood in the middle of the floor, head tilted upward facing the ceiling.
βY/n!β
He rushed over to the girl, grasping her shoulders as he tried to shake out of this chilling state.
Her eyes rolled back further into her skull.
βY/n?β
βAunty Francie? Noβ¦Ohβ¦my GOD. MUM! Getβ¦GET AWAY FROM ME!β she cried, her hands crawling up his arms, her nails gripping into them.
βY/n?β
She began trembling in his arms, sobs escaping her lips, βI canβtβ¦noβ¦NOβ¦ Stay backβ¦I SAID STAY BACKβ¦Noβ¦sheβs going to hurt meβ¦Isaacβ¦Nightβ¦is going toβ¦β
Tylerβs brows furrowed, he needed to get her out of here now.
βWho Y/n? Whoβs going to hurt you?β
Her struggles grew more restless as she thrashed in his strong hold. Her head snapped to eye level with his, eyes clouded.
Her stare cold as icy, chilling to the core, her voice grumbled as she stared into his eyes.
Her lips turned upward, sinister and evil, her chest hummed as she answered him.
βTu! Nos omnes laesuras es.β She hissed.
(You! You are going to hurt us all.)
βHey Y/n, come back to me. Itβs me Tyler.β
The poor boy was frightened out of his wits, never in his life had he experienced something as bone chilling as this.
But what happened next, almost made him piss himself.
Gripping his chin, Y/n pulled him close to her, nails piercing his skin.
Her eyes became black as death, but her voice, oh how her voice taunted his conscious state.
βTsk, tsk, tsk. Y/nβs not here right now, Tyler.β The entity chackled, drawing blood from his chin, as it pulled him close to the girlβs lips.
βYou reek of sexual desire for this girl! Ha, who'd thought the Hyde bloodline carried on through you. And you donβt even know itβ¦ come on boy do it, kiss me.β
He felt so tempted but this wasnβt Y/n, shaking his head he turned away.
βOh well, Iβll see you soon my dear nephewβ¦ all in due time Hydeβ¦Oh andβ¦β Her lips pressed close to his ear, her breath hot on his skin. β... your mother says hi.β
Dumbfounded, he gaped at the male voice leaving her lips.
What the fuck! How the fuck!
βTyler! Did you find Y/n?β Wednesdayβs stoic voice called from above.
βAh, yeahβ¦ I did!β
Moaning Y/n collapsed into the boyβs arms, mumbling, as he held her close.
Staring down at the weak girl in his arms he tried his best to sum up what had just happened.
But he couldn't, there was no logical explanation for this.
Her delicate fingers danced along his cheek down to his jaw, a pout toying at her lips.
Her finger nails brushed down his neck and to the scratch marks along his chest.
βJordan, what happened to your chin?β she breathed, falling unconscious.
Picking up her bridal style, Tyler couldnβt help but wonder about her words, her movements, everything. And more importantly, Isaac Night and his mother.
The ride back to his place was going to be an interesting one, filled with unanswered questions.
The trio waited outside for the missing links to arrive.
Walking out with Y/n in his arms, Enid clasped a hand over her mouth as she squealed in excitement seeing Tyler carry Y/n to them.
Following the blonde's gaze, Xavier fell ill at the sight.
βWhat the hell Galpin? What did you do to her?β
Shifting his gaze toward the Thorpe boy, he kept on walking, not daring to spare another glance at the group.
The stale look on his face didnβt shift.
βAbout time, useful hours are being wasted.β
All heads turned to the Addams girl, none of them would have been here frightened to the core, if it wasnβt for her.
Xavier didnβt mean to drag his cousin along but when the trio stopped by his dorm room.
Wednesday persuading them to come to her party at Tylerβs house, they couldnβt give her an answer to refuse.
Y/n could, but her cousinβs friend Enid, jabbed her with a pleading look.
Tyler opened the passengerβs side door and placed the girl in carefully, the sudden movement caused her to stir in her sleep.
Slamming the door shut, he finally acknowledged the group.
βGet in the car, now.β
Wednesday stayed silent, examining the situation at hand, she needed answers and Y/n was the only one who was close enough to get them.
Past Weather never cafe
Wednesday patiently tapped her mug, waiting for the arrival of Xavier Thorpe and Y/n Vandette, the psychic and the clairvoyant.
Tyler anxiously smiled her way, she knew the three had a history between them, one, neither of them spoke about.
The ring of the bell and the bickering that followed announced the cousinsβ arrival.
βI donβt want to be dragged into this.β
βY/n, just hear her outβ¦thatβs all I ask.β
Spotting Wednesday, Y/n sent the Addams girl a wary look, following her cousin they continued bickering.
βFineβ¦you have got to be kidding me.β
Y/n words were cut short by the sight in front of her.
Tyler Galpin seated across from Wednesday leaving room for either her or Xavier, and Y/n knew Xavier wouldnβt dare sit next to the normie boy.Β
Removing himself from the seat, he gestured to Y/n to sit.
Praying Xavier was going to follow suit she did, sliding in she made herself comfy.Β
Averting her attention out the window, droplets of rain trickled down the cold glass distracting her from the world behind her.
Feeling the cushion next her dip, she faced the group, only to find Xavier next to Wednesday.
Dear God, no.
Shooting her cousin a seething glare, she scooted closer to the window and as far away from the Galpin boy as possible.
Wednesday finally amused with having everyoneβs attention slammed on a dusty book on the table.
βNathaniel Faulkner's diaryβ
βWhat the hell is that?β Xavier uttered.
βThis,β Wednesday answered flipping the book open, βis the diary of Nathaniel Faulkner. The man that studied, the Hyde, and where our answers will beβ¦hopefully.β
Tyler and Y/n sat quiet as the Addams girl, explained what knowledge she knew of the book and the Hyde.
That the beast needed a master in order to survive.
βSo whoever is controlling Hyde. Is the one responsible for the murders occurring around Jericho.β
The girlβs sentence struck, Y/n. This made no sense, why had Wednesday needed her here.
She practically had no strings attached to the case. But if Xavier said she was an asset, then she might as well give the morbid girl what she wanted and then be off with her life.
βWhich is where you come into the picture, Y/n. You have the ability to see vision, when in contact with your skin right?β
Y/n didnβt want to answer her, casting a look to her cousin, he nodded to her.
βYes.β
Sliding the book over to her hands.
βTouch it.β
βWednesday itβs not that easy, I just canβtβ¦β Images of a man flashed before her eyes, blurry yet rigged.
Pilgrim.
Scarecrow like features, and another.
His eyes grew enlarged, as they stared at another.
βCome on sweety do it for mama.β
Growls echoed in her ears, as the figure fell to the ground gasping in pain, she watched in horror as they grew.
Snapping its glare toward her another flash flew past her eyes Tyler, chained to a wall panting heavily.
Images of nevermore on fire, played, chaos being created by three figures.
Wednesday, saving the day.
The trio stared at the girl, her head flew back, as she began mumbling in Latin.
βHic nobiscum sedet. Iuxta me.β
(He sits here with us. Next to me.)
Squinting Wednesday reached over to pull the book away, before she could Y/n gripped her hand squeezing it as they both descended into a pit of chaos.
Wednesdayβs life flashed before Y/nβs eyes, along with the girlβs family history.
A vision clouded Wednesday eyes, Y/n stood in front of her, choking Marilyn Thornhill along with two other figures next to her with an invisible force.
Gasping both girls fell into the seat behind them, catching their breaths as they came to.
Wednesday shoved Xavierβs hand off her shoulder, βIβm fine.β
Across from them Tyler mimicked Xavierβs actions, βY/n!?β
But Y/n was quick to her feet.
The trio watched as the young clairvoyant climbed over the love seat, and ran out the door, leaving the three behind.
βFuck that.β
Present
Ever since that day in the cafe, Wednesday knew the young clairvoyant harbored a powerful gene within her, that one day would make her indestructible.
The car ride to the Galpin'sβ was one to remember, and some things are just better left in the dark.Β

"I forbid you to take her to that...that infernal beast."
Her watchers' voices rang through the air as they held eye contact, a smirk played on his lips, taunting her as she remained poker-facedβonce welcoming and soft, now unreadable, and stoic.
She didn't want to be here, playing a childish game of Russian Roulette with her ex.
Enid's warmth was a sense of comfort in this time of despair, her e/c eyes never left his cold blue ones.
Another mistake ready to unfold, a chaotic masterpiece. The hairs on the back of her neck stood as Wednesday appeared by her side.
He became the creatures she fought in the past. Deadly, weak and pets to their masters. The shock collar around his neck proved her point.
The vampire slayer gripped her wooden stake. Praying she had the ability to enable the shock collar. To watch him cry out in pain, in desperation. To become so vulnerable, just like her poor mother.
Must be ready.
Having a gift as precious as the strength of a thousand young women. The blessing of growing wiser, stronger, and intelligent, all came with a burden.
CHAOS!
Not knowing that every creature encountered could be your very last.
DISASTER!
No dust filling the night sky, but a thud of a body dropping to the floor, lifeless and empty.
AND
Love being nothing but an enemy, it blinds you and makes you vulnerable and the last,
DEATH!
Swarming her mind like an illness, constantly reminding of what once was the most precious person in her life. Now tightly bolted shut in a cocoon of white satin resting in an eternal sleep.
The sting of pain never left the young girl's heart. The cross sitting between her breasts became a constant reminder of the loss.
Her mother.
One thing a person needs to battle the cruel world, a parent. And the cause of her pain, standing three feet away from her, in chains.
Damp, lifeless skin, broken shackles wrapped around his wrists and ankles. Bare chest displayed for the world, blood smeared on his left cheek and messy curls sticking to his forehead.
Breathe shallow and shaky, eyes dead as they day he became twisted. His lips dry and cracked, held a malicious smirk. Hiding the sharp knives, that rested comfortably behind those lips.
"Miss me?"
Her expressions remained the same as she took in his words, and as sick as it sounded, part of her did. She missed the old Tyler, her Tyler.
Before his true nature clawed out from the roots of his bloody core, she finally understood. Y/n understood the challenge Buffy Summers faced with Angel, or Angelus.
Conflict of love and devotion against hate and anger. But his soul wasn't taken away from him like Angel's. Tyler's soul was tormented and ridiculed, all thanks to one deceitful woman.
The weight of the stake in her hand never felt heavier.
Come on, try me.
Her grip on the wooden stake tightened in a warning manner. Tyler's brows perked at the sight of the weapon in her hand, a symbolic piece he knew all too well.
A staple of what ended evil.
Interesting,Β he thought.
His head tilted to the side in a provoking manner, her eyes never leaving his.
There was a glimmer of hope in them.
Hope that they'll wake up from this nightmare and wake up in their beds, sweaty, rapid breathing.
Their panicked eyes flickering around the room, realising it was nothing but a figment of their imagination.
Like the day she felt him. The icy water consuming his body, filling his lungs, drifting him off to a dreamless sleep.
~Flashback~
Concentrating on the target twenty feet away from her. She gripped the stem firmly, fingers wrapped so tight her knuckles turned white.
The cheers from Ajax and Xavier echoed in the background as she focused on her task. She could feel the burn of Bianca's stare, edging her best friend on.
The whole school was counting on her; she was the best archer in the district. Move out of the way, Katniss Everdeen, a new mockingjay was rising.
Perks of being a vampire slayer.
One final deep breath, she let the string go.
The silence was heavy, the crowd watched in awe as the arrow flew through the air like a missile.
Piercing the red centre, cheers erupted in the air. Dropping her shoulders, she smiled as Ajax hauled her onto his shoulder. Cheeks flushed from the sudden action.
Never admitting it, but the h/c girl had a little crush on the gorgon boy.
Especially now with how Tyler had been acting towards her lately.
This feeling was what she needed: someone who was genuine and by her side. But when she looked into the crowd, she felt it. Her lungs collapsing, vision clouded, her body heat dropping.
"Ajax! Ajax, man let her down."
"Wha...why? Oh shit, Y/n! Hey!"
The sharp blades of the grass pricked her exposed skin; everything around her became distant, blurry.
"NURSE! We need a nurse."
Her head was pounding, her lungs crying for air.
"What happened?"
"I...I don't know...she just..."
A vision of a ceiling consumed by ripples played before her, oxygen being knocked out of her. She was no longer in her body, but his.
"Tyler!" She gasped, shoving the person giving her mouth-to-mouth, away. Getting to her feet, she took off sprinting into the woods.
"Of course, that normie would ruin everything."
βAjax! Xavier! Enough of that!β
Shoving the front door open, eyes ecstatic. She examined the dull home.
Left
Right
She ran straight into his bedroom. Shoes squeaking, tennis skirt brushing against her legs, sent a shiver up her body.
"Tyler?"
The room was silent, too silent, his bathroom door halfβopen; the worst was yet to come.
Swinging the door open, she entered, finding the curtain closed.
"No, no, God no."
She tore it back, her vision finally answered.
He lay there, face gentle, almost peaceful, but the scars on his body told her differently.
"When did this happen?"
Her voice was barely above a whisper; no way his father was responsible for this. The bruises on his wrists, cuts along his torso, what hell was it from, a knife?
She couldn't allow this to happen.
How could he be so selfish?
He had been going to therapy for what, nothing?
Wasting his father's money, only to end up like this? To leave her, keep secrets from her, push her away like she never meant anything to him.
The urge to slap the living shit out of him, was hard to fight.
"Damn idiot." She hauled him out, and dropped his dead weight onto the floor to begin CPR.
"Come on," her hands slammed down, pumping his wet chest.
"COME ON, TYLER!"
Nothing.
"Jesus." Bending down, she gently tilted his head back and chin up, pressing her warm lips against his cold ones, and blew.
She felt his chest rise against her.
Come on, come on.
She blew into his mouth once more, a hand gripped tightly around her hip, ceasing her actions.
What the, woah.
Y/n flipped to the ground landing beside the unconscious boy. Aggressive gasps filled the silent bathroom, her groans of pain, playing along side the noise.
The sound of water splashing against the floor woke her from her daze. Another round of dry heaving began, followed by coughs.
"Tyler?"
His figure hunched over the toilet, and the contents within his stomach spilled into the bowl. Crawling over to him, she caressed his back as he threw up.
Her eyes never leaving him.
Drained Tyler rested his back against the wall, keeping his eyes closed.
"Tyler?"
He moaned.
"Why? Why'd you do that?"
Groaning, he rubbed his temple, "Please, Y/n, I don't want to talk about it."
"You don't want to talk about it?! You don't want to talk about it?"
He was asking to be slapped, and so she did. Palm connecting with his wet cheek, giving the ungrateful guy a taste of whiplash.
"What the hell was that for Y/n?"
"I come running here, coz I had a damn vision of my boyfriend, drowning in the bathtub... ONLY TO BE TOLD 'I don't want to talk about it...' Tyler, I deserve an answer, God Damn it."
The blue-eyed boy was baffled; had she seen what he did?
How? There is no possible way, was there?
It reminded him of the time they shared a dream; he had spoken to Thronhill about it. She was just as shocked as he was.
Y/n's watcher, William Abston, had some suspicion that the couple shared an emotional tether. Formed between the two from birth, soulmates, you may say. But it was a theory, a folklore tale.
"I think you should go, Y/n."
A sour expression grew on her face, her eyes raging with fire, heat burning into his. There was no point in arguing with him; it never ended well, They never used to argue.
Something within him changed; ever since that tiny little Addams girl showed her face.
That's when things between them became estranged.
"Fine...but when I walk out this door...our relationship is over."
Pushing herself off the ground, her shoes squeaked against the wet tile floor, his voice echoing behind her.
"How can you end something that was never there to begin with?"
The answer she had been seeking, was finally answered, in the dead of this misery, the Galpins' called home.
~Flashback ended~
For a minute there, she thought she saw his eyes twinkle, and her Tyler returned.
NO! He killed her.
Her body mauled to death, the poor woman's limbs were flung around the forest. The beast responsible, still on the loose.
Sheriff Galpin's eyes never strayed from the scene playing out in front of him. William Abston held the young girl as she wailed into his chest, grieving for her mother.
The Petropolus boy awkwardly placed a hand on the girl's back, trying his best to sooth her sobbing form. Both parties felt dumbfounded by tonight's events, seeing the strongest person in their life break like a porcelain doll.
"I'm here Y/n, I'm here."
Pulling away from her watcher, she rubbed her eyes dry and turned to Ajax.
"Th-thank you...for being... here... w... with me, Ajax."
The young gorgon flushed from her words, and nervously looked to the ground. Y/n gently placed her fingers under his chin tipping it so he could meet her e/c eyes.
Brown met e/c, wide eye and scared stared into dull and heartbroken orbs. To him she looked like a delicate lilac rose, droplets of water dripping down her soft petals. Even in this state she still managed to make his heart beat rapidly.
Her thumb ever so often caressed his jaw, a small smile toying along her swollen lips. Leaning forward she pressed her lips to his cheek.
"I... really mean it, Ajax. Thank you.β
Earlier that night, Wednesday had informed Ajax, about the death of the slayer's mother. Knowing the truth that laid before him, the sheriff's innocent son, dirtied his hands with blood.
My mum!
My everything!
My will to live!
GONE!
"Mistakes like you and your mother, should have been burned at birth."
The emotion flaring through her sentence was enough to fill the empty void; it impressed Wednesday Addams, and terrified Enid Sinclair.
The last thing the trio needed was the appearance of the Hyde to come out and play.
Enid's hold on her shoulder tightened, and her blue eyes grazed Tyler, as he absorbed the h/c's words.
Tossing his head back, he let out a wicked cackle. And like smoke, appeared in front of the girls, frightening the living shit out of the blonde.Β
Yet Wednesday and Y/n didn't flinch or move an inch. Unlike Wednesday Y/n was quick to grab her stake and press it slowly into his abdomen. Her e/c eyes threatening him to even try.
She was not afraid; proving herself worthy of protecting the group from the Hyde, before she knew it was Tyler.Β
Gates ManorΒ
Y/n squeezed the wooden handle, twisting her fist slowly as if she were nervously waiting to play baseball.Β
It was somewhere up here with her, waiting to jump out and attack. It already succeeded in scaring Enid, who, with Wednesday managed to escape. Forgetting her in the large manor.Β
But she had been used to this, being spilt up with her friends from her previous town, walking around an unknown environment, back then she knew what she was up against. Now like walking through dark.
Abston, had been researching the Hyde, working alongside with Weems and Thronhill, who for a human - like Y/n and Abston - had a lot of knowledge on the beast.Β
Her sneakers squeaked against the floorboards, training all her senses to her hearing. No breathes, no growls, making her way closer towards the stair case, she paused once more.
Eyes scanning the perimeter, no shadows, no silhouettes, or reflections.
All seemed clear.
Loosening her grip on the shovel, she descended down the stairs, the front door was wide open, perfect escape. But too easy.Β
Something's up, an easy escape?
Seems fishy.
Closing the door behind her she made her way out the door, Tyler's car was still parked under the tree.Β
Strange, where the hell could they be?
The sound of rushing feet caught her attention, "Y/n! RUN!!!"Β
Trailing behind the odd tiro, was the raging beast.
Readying herself, she definitely prepared for a batter up.
Running past the slayer, they made skidded to a stop, ready to yank her away. But the whoosh sound caught their attention.
They watched in fear as the head of the shovel connected to the Hyde's temple, the force from the whack sent it flying into a nearby tree. Snapping the trunk in half.Β
"Holy shit, Y/n, batter's up." Xavier breathed.
Dropping the shovel to the ground, she faced the group and waved Tyler's keys.Β
"Thanks, now let's get the hell outta here."
Present
His hot breath blowing on y/n's lips, and if this were like old times, she wouldn't have hesitated to pull him in.
To have him consume her whole, desperate to fill this void - he created - between them, to press her soft lips to his warm ones.
But soft lips don't pair well with cold bloody ones.
She knew he was listening to her heartbeat, asking for her to drop the tough act and give in, to show the truth.
"You mind repeating that, Buff?"
He welcomed back the taunting smirk, along with the dead nickname. A nickname that was buried a long time ago, lying in the depths of the past, where it belonged.
But she knew better than to repeat it, and yet his blue eyes taunted her, screamed for her to say it.
Com 'on baby, say it.
Make me angry, I dare you.
Let me show you who I am.
A monster.
A beast.
Something you loved, something you let caress your cheek the night your mother died.
The image of them sitting in his room as he gently held her wet cheeks, and peppered her with stolen kisses.
"It's okay, baby, we'll find who did this...I'll make sure of it."
The one whom you gave your innocence to and changed before your very eyes.
The carrier of your heart and chaos.
The Hyde.
"Mistakes like you and your mother should have..."
The words never left her lips. A clammy hand clasped itself around her mouth, stealing the words that held their fate in them.
""No, no. Not today, Y/n...I'd like to make it out of here alive."
Tyler took another taunting launch towards her, and as quick as lightning she retaliated. Like a bullet from a gun, her wooden stake pierced the sound barrier aiming directly to his head. Thanking the Hyde reflex, he caught it and smirked.
"Just like the first night we made love, how cute."
Enid's hold on Y/n began to slip; the girl struggled against the werewolf's strength.
"I hate you, I hate you, Tyler Galpin...You're a lost cause...Let... GO of me!"
The blonde grunted against the girl's failed attempts to escape.
"...Wednesday, he's here, tell him about his father. So we can get this over and done with."
Wednesday only nodded. Masking her amusement, she knew what the young slayer was capable of.
Watching her in the dead of night, train with her watcher.
Slaying the evil that embodied her previous home.
Stake in hand, she never missed a beat.
Never out of breath.
Never frightened of what demonic presences showed themselves to her.
Strong-willed young woman, but this demon she couldnβt slay, not yet at least.
Wednesday kept tabs on Y/n, with the help of her uncle Fester, a close friend of the young girl's watcher.
With the newly attained information, she could study the slayer and learn about the truth.
"My pleasure, Enid."
The blonde nodded back, her gaze settling on the girl, before leaving the cell. Tyler's voice echoed into the distance.
"Choose your words and actions cautiously, Y/n. Wouldn't, want that precious gorgon to end up like your poor mother, do you?"

The scent of rusted metal filled the quiet shed. Why had she agreed to meet him here, out in the middle of the night in his grandfatherβs shed? Tyler's message suggested that this would be a great weekend trip for them, whilst his grandparents were away visiting his cousins.
Y/N smiled at the thought of spending time with her best friend, yet something in her gut didn't sit right. Sighing, she glanced down at the metallic box in her hand; she sat there in silence and began to fiddle with it. Checking that the wrapping was precise, her eyes squinted.Β
Next time I'm going to use a little less sticky tape.
She hoped he'd like his present. Y/N knew he adored her gifts ever since she was able to purchase them with her own money.Β
I probably should have baked him a cake or cookies for his birthday.
The barn door opened, revealing his 6'0 figure. Tyler gently closed the barn door, breathing heavily, and his back drenched in sweat.Β
He hadn't noticed her presence waiting in the barn house. As he turned around, the poor bloke jumped in fright at the sight of his best friend.Β
Whose smile deflated the moment their eyes met.
Strange, looks like something is bothering him.
"Y/N?"Β
She noticed his eyes, twitching every few seconds, as droplets of sweat trickled down his jaw. He rubbed his palms against his light green jeans, creating a damp stain on each leg. His shoes were covered in what looked like dirt and tree sap?
Y/N's eyes squinted at his shoes, watching how he tried his best to hide his white Converse.
Maybe he stepped in something, she thought.
"Hey."Β
She breathed, wanting to break the thick tension in the barn house. It was never like this between them; the air was never this thick and suffocating.
Something was different, or maybe it was nerves. Nerves about what?
They told each other everything. Yet he stood there, his aura feeling off, like he was off in the merry old land of Oz.
"What are you doing here?" His hazel eyes seemed distant, red around the cornea like he had been crying for hours. The bags under his eyes are black and sunken.
He probably had been working all weekend long.
Tyler felt a tingle across the back of his hand, as if his hair follicles were itching against his skin.
No... not now! Not in front of Y/N.
His attention focused on his hand.
In pure fright, he watched as his pale skin began to turn grey. The colour, dancing up his arm as if it were taunting him.
Laughing at his fear, knowing damn well what reaction it would cause. He could hear it, that voice.
"I got your message...and um...I brought you something."
Breaking his concentration, he clasped his hand behind his back. Praying she had not seen it, and to his luck, she did not question it.
The crease in his brows brought more worry to her core, and his answer frightened her.
"What message?"
He sensed her nerves skyrocketing, her heartbeat consuming his hearing.
God, it's so fucking loud.
His ears could not take the volume anymore; it felt like the sound was increasing with each second. Her movements were smooth and gentle as she made her way towards him.
BA-DUD!
"The one you sent last week."
BA-DUD!
His gums began to ache.Β
Throbbing, pinching, jaw stretching, his canines elongating.Β
Blood seeping into his mouth, devouring his taste buds.
The worst was only beginning.
Oh! FUCK!
BA-DUD!
A tingling sensation vibrated his core with each step she took. His senses heightening, everything itching at his brain and most of all the cry of her heart.
This isn't me, Y/N!
Beating so loud, so strong, but so fucking loud. The throbbing ache ripped his mind in two.
BA-DUD!
She's making do this.
His back began to ache. Muscles are tearing, expanding from within. His fingernails elongated, piercing the soft skin of his palm.
BA-DUD!
"I never sent a message."
Her movement ceased; Y/N's eyes fixated on the box now stared straight ahead at her best friend. His figure hunched and turned to the side, hazel irises shut.
BA-DUD!
I'm not a monster.
"Tyler? Are you..."
Her voice, now an echo in the distance.
His breathing quickened, his eyes burning; it consumed him. His mind screaming, crying to tear his clothes off. He felt it, his feet pulsing in his tight shoes, skin stretching against his green flannel shirt.
I'm not a monster.
Y/N took cautious steps towards him.Β
The growing fear trembling inside her.
"...Tyler?"
He let out a painful yelp.
BA-DUD!
This isn't me.
Her intoxicating scent filled his lungs. Blackberry, vanilla and orange blossom, consuming his being.
He wanted to touch her, feel her, take her, but he couldn't. He couldn't let her see him like this. Not this brutal beast he was.
"Tyler?"
His head snapped forward as the sound of his bones breaking silenced her. Frozen, the metallic box slipped from her fingers. Landing between her feet, eyes glued on the sight in front of her.
Bulging orbs replaced the warm green eyes of Tyler. Sharp fangs hung between his pale lips, his clothes ripping with every second that passed.
"Y/N." He howled.
HOWLED...
HOWLED...
HOWLEDβ¦
β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦
"I'm not a monster." He breathed as his curls shook back and forth.
"Tyler? Hey, earth to Tyler."
Blinking, his hazel eyes met her sweet e/c ones, as she snapped her fingers in his face.
What the hell?
"Gee, I had no clue your hand was so fascinating." She laughed, watching his fingers hover over his hand.
Tyler looked panicked but brushed it off and gave her a sweet hug, inhaling her enchanting scent.
"Huh...my wha...oh my arm. Ha, thought I felt something crawling on it." He smiled and scratched the back of his neck.
"Well, come on, bozo! Can't stay inside here all night. Unless you want to spend your birthday inside your grandparents' shed?"
She was right, they needed to leave before she found their bodies.
Mauled and mangled.
Smiling at her statement, he took hold of her hand. Cold and clammy, clasped warm and soft.
"Yeah...Yeah, come on, let's go."
He ushered her out.
His green eyes speared one last glance inside and watched the blood trickle down the timber wall.
Y/N watched with careful eyes as he slammed the shed door shut, placing the lock on.
Strange.
He met her gaze and smiled. "Shall we?"
"We shall."
What was in that shed?
Part 2?Β
I hope you liked it, as always stay safe, go to school and don't do drugs.

Your eyes (Tyler Galpin x Witch!reader)
Other Tyler works: The Bodies , The past, Tyler Galpin Yay or Nay
Summary: Trusting your gut feelings is always the way to go. Y/n a young witch can't seem to wipe this feeling she gets from Tyler, and later she and Xavier are in for a surprise.
Bold = Telepathic talking
Italics = MemoriesΒ
Tyler Galpin x witch!reader x Xavier Thorpe
TW: Harsh family living.
The trio were on their way to meet Wednesday. Enid had insisted she come along with her and Xavier.
They needed the young witchβs support, stating she would be an amazing asset to have if things got ugly.
But what Enid forgot to mention was the presence of Tyler, and that he and Wednesday were on a supposed date.
Tyler liked Y/N but hid it well. He needed to gain Wednesday's trust in order for his masterβs plan to succeed.
Everyone in the group had seen Hyde or had an encounter with it, all except Y/N.
Tyler swore to keep it that way.
Y/N was a strong-willed young woman and coming from a home where emotions were weak and not spoken about, made her instant friends with Bianca and Xavier.
But after their split, she became distant toward the Thrope boy, shutting him out completely for Bianca.
To other students, the siren girl was a straight up bitch, but to Y/N, a good soul. The h/c girl would show little emotion, care, and only allow hugs when needed.
So when Xavier broke up with Bianca, Y/N allowed the girl to cry her eyes out.
Y/N's life changed the slightest when Weems assigned her as Wednesdayβs tour guide around the school and town, where she properly met Tyler.
At first, she didnβt take much notice of the boy, it was a family rule that women didnβt mix with men, unless the witch wanted a child of her own.
Living in a convent full of women made it hard for Y/N to understand the second-hand emotion, people call Love.
The icy tone she had, led to a one-sided acquaintanceship with Wednesday Addams. As both girls had the same view of emotional structure.
Wednesday knew of emotion and how they made people foolish. Whereas, Y/N was never shown emotion and had no evidential knowledge or actions of what it was. More so, what it could do.
She never asked questions when she felt something off or funny, the girl knew better not to. But rather associate those funny feelings with her magic.
Students at the school compared Y/N to the two comic book characters Wanda Maximoff and Rachel Roth.
Enid had been the one to start the gossip and later inform Y/N about who the two fictional characters were. Both superheroes controlled the power of witchcraft.
One having red powers and the other blackish purple, and to most peopleβs surprise Y/Nβs powers were a reddish-purple hue, labeling her as the in-between of the Scarlet Witch and Raven.Β
Y/N discreetly remembered her first encounter with Wednesday Addams. The girl allergic to colour and lover of all things dark and mystique.
Y/N couldn't understand Wednesday's sudden interest in her. She found it quite strange for a person to like another in an acute meeting.
Information should be obtained before making such a conclusion.
-First encounter-
βIβm not sure what it is that has compelled me to take a liking to you. But you are different from everyone here. Which has surprised me.β Wednesday expressed.
Her deathly eyes examined Y/N's body language and to her surprise the girl hadnβt moved an inch. No smile, no eye twitch, nothing.
Her e/c eyes stared at Wednesday absorbing the information formally thrown her way.Β
βYou reek of amusement. Disgustingβ¦ And due to your sudden confession, I will let the devil decide the outcome.β
And for once in her life Wednesday was left gobsmacked, though she didnβt show it. She was rather impressed by Y/Nβs statement.Β
βFair enough, witch.β Wednesday whispered back, at Y/Nβs retreating form.Β
-End of flashback-
As the group made their way to the Weathervane Cafe. The scene displayed inside brought disgust to two members, except Enid who clapped excitedly.
A stinging pain engulfed the girl's chest.
The sensation reminded her of the similar feeling she felt when she properly first met Tyler.
-Flashback-
Being assigned Wednesdayβs tour guide was all but fun, and having to explain this to Bianca was one of the many challenges.
Weems didnβt make things any easier for the young witch either. Making sure Wednesday would behave herself, was a mission in itself.Β
βY/N please! I need you to do this. Youβre the only one she listens to.β
Y/N raised an eyebrow at Weems' statement. She felt no obligation in making a friendship with Wednesday.
Bianca and her pack of goons were enough for one witch to hold a connection with.
βI still donβt understand why youβve chosen me. I donβt hold any attachment or attraction to the girlβ¦ She confesses her feelings too openly, with a dead expression which tends to show a form of emotion. Even if she believes she doesnβt. It's rather pathetic, that she expresses her fondness of me.βΒ
Sighing Weems brought her hands down to the desk.
βI understand your point, Y/N. Look, just do this one trip with her and Iβll raise your grade.β
βSounds like blackmail, I donβt need you to raise my grade. I am fine without support, nor do I need it.β
Freshly brewed coffee filled Y/Nβs lungs and brought a welcoming feeling toward her as they entered. Silently calming her mind. Y/n had felt off at the mention of going into town.Β
βHey Wednesday, how are youβ¦Oh hello.βΒ
And that's when she felt it, the gut wrenching feeling and the stinging in the heart. Her e/c eyes met his green ones. A mop of light brown curls, a knee melting smile. But she sensed something, something different, something off.
Call it intuition, Y/N didnβt like this feeling she was getting from this boy and by God did it stir something in her.
Without noticing, her eyes began to glow a reddish purple hue, Y/Nβs powers began to act up due to the threat she was currently feeling.
Tyler freaked out at the sight in front of him.
βHoly shit your eyes.βΒ
Wednesday snapped her gaze toward the girl beside her analysing the situation. Y/Nβs power rarely reacted unless she wanted them to or was feeling threatened. But they were here in a coffee shop with Tyler, who was currently being stared down by Wednesday.
Had he sent a wave of emotion to the witch, had Y/N never met Tyler before?
Tyler had mentioned seeing her with Bianca and her goons plenty of times. Stating he never had a proper conversation with the girl, only her friends.
Before both parties could utter a word, Y/N was out the door.Β
βWell nice to meet you too, Y/Nβ¦didnβt think I was that much of a beast.β Tyler muttered watching the girl speed walk across the street.
His statement caused Wednesday to focus her attention on him.
βShe canβt hear youβ¦waitβ¦You like her?βΒ
Spilling the coffee, Tyler blushed at Wednesdayβs comment.
βWhat noβ¦noβ¦Iβ¦I am that transparent?β
βHardly to the ordinary eye. But yes, if youβre asking from my perspective.β
βGee thanks.β
-End of flashback-
Her actions caught Xavierβs eye, a furrow buried deep into his skin, not realising both teens shared the exact same mortified look.Β
βYou okay?βΒ
Nodding, she casted her eyes away.
βI believe so. Must be having a stroke.β
She had never felt this before, not even when one of her grand masters, had passed away from old age. Did she feel an emotion as strong as this. It felt strange and she didnβt like it at all.Β
βSo now what?β Xavier asked.Β
βYes, an explanation would be rather helpful, Enid.βΒ
The blonde girlβs attention was focused on the scene occurring behind the window. Happily smiling as Wednesday finally got something every teenage girl desired.
Her first kiss.
Snapping her fingers in the blondeβs face, Y/N eyes began to glow in a threatening behaviour, seeking an answer from the culprit that led them all there.
Enid sensed the heat of Y/Nβs glare and quickly blurted out.
βWednesday believes Tylerβs the Hyde. Donβt hurt me.βΒ
βYouβre joking right? A Normie?β
Y/N watched as the blondeβs shoulders drop and sigh heavily, catching the attention of the two inside.Β
βYour loudness has caught their attention! You foolish girl.β
The cafe door creaked open, Wednesday and Tyler stepped out, both Y/N and Xavier averted their eyes away from the two. Whilst Enid cowered under Wednesdayβs harsh glare.Β
Examining this, Y/N stepped away ready to leave and return to her dorm room.
As her thoughts trailed to her roommate, a message popped up on her phone.
BIANCA:Β
Hey, when are you planning on coming back? Weems is getting Thronhill to do a bedroom check.Β
Y/N:
Leaving now.Β
BIANCA:
Okay, iβll leave the window open for you xΒ
Y/N sent a βlikeβ to Biancaβs message and placed the piece of technology back in her pocket.
Feeling the hairs on her neck stand, she turned to Xavier. But it wasnβt his eyes who were on her, his orbs were set on the girl dressed in black.
The eyes that bore into her being, were those of curly hair green eyed boy besides him.
Y/N sensed something off about Tyler, his eyes no longer held that bright shimmer. He had bags under his eyes, his skin had become paler compared to his natural light tanned skin.
She needed to go, and now.Β
Turning her back to the group, she chanted a spell. Cloaking her from everyone's sight, and jumped into the air.
Within 5 minutes she was at the windowsill, climbing in like Peter Pan, and flew straight into her bed.Β
βYou should be grateful, I covered for your ass. Saying you were in the bathroom.β
Bianca grumbled, turning over in her bed.Β
βThank you.βΒ
-The following week-
Y/N had been avoiding the group of outcasts for a week. Spending most of her time with Bianca and her followers.
Enid had been trying to catch up with Y/N, who had made excuses every time she would bump into the blonde. Or pretended that she didnβt see or hear her when she would call out.
Xavier on the other hand, knew best not to push the girl, whereas Wednesday had other ideas.Β
Observing the girl from across the courtyard, chatting away to Bianca. The laughter and smiles made Wednesday sick to her stomach. The emotion spread across both girls' faces, emitting into the air, absolutely sickening.
Tyler had been on her case asking where Y/N was, her only response was a shrug.
-Flashback-
βSo thatβs your answer, a shrug?β
Her cold eyes found his once more.
What more could he possibly want, the other night he had taken her on a date not Y/N, so why the sudden change of emotion.
It compelled Wednesday how strange and distant he had been for a while.
One day he would be all warm and kind towards her asking if Y/N was with her. Then the next cold and dark, talking about how he preferred her over Y/N, any day.
Two personalities in one body.Β
βIf you donβt like my answer, then go find out yourself. I have no time to talk nonsense, I have other matters to tend toβ¦βΒ
The boyβs expression was priceless, he couldnβt believe this girl, no heart, to give him a proper answer.
She and Y/N must not like each other; it had been over a week since he last saw her.
The pull he felt toward the h/c girl was impeccable. Even though they hardly ever spoke a word to each other, there was something.Β
βOf course you do,β He sighed.
The appearance of the dark clothed girl did send a jolt in him, but didnβt last long when he noticed that look in her eyes.Β
βWhat exactly did you come in here for, then?β
-End of Flashback-
She had enough of the h/c girl ignoring her, Y/N was the key to unlocking answers around the town and she wanted them now.Β
Later that night Y/N was getting ready to have a shower when she received a text from Xavier, the one out of the three she wished she didnβt ignore. It wasnβt his fault if anything he was in the same place as she was.Β
XAVIER:
Hey, can we talk?Β
Y/N:
I suppose.Β
XAVIER:Β
Meet me at the front gates.Β
Y/N:
Okay Xavier.
XAVIER:Β
Thanks Y/N, see you.Β
Placing her phone in her pocket, she began chanting a spell, reddish purple hue gathered around the girl's body encasing her within it.Β
Xavier waited anxiouslyΒ for her arrival, he needed a friend at this moment. Ignoring people usually was his 'go to' thing when he was with Bianca.
Keeping his emotions at bay, but Rowan would manage to get it out of him.
Sometimes Y/N.
She didnβt need to say anything she could tell; she had promised from day one that she would never read his mind.
And when he first came to her about something, she knew.Β
-Flashback-
βI thought I told you not to read my mind.βΒ
The poor boy had been pacing back and forth, ignoring all signs of his emotion and how his friend tried her best to explain herself.
She watched; her head following his pace and brought a headache forth.
βWell, if youβd grant me your silence.β
Y/N had enough of these accusations she stood up, stopping him dead in his steps with her magic.Β
βI didnβt read your mind. I donβt have to, your eyes speak for themselves. Everything is in your eyes.β
-End of Flashback-
A dry chuckle escaped his lips as he kicked his foot into the gravel, creating a cloud of dust. It twirled in the air dancing like a delicate ballerina.
Appearing behind him Y/N quietly observed the boyβs actions. His eyes never leaving the dust at his feet, a small smile resting on his lips as it began to disappear into the night sky.Β
βThank you. For coming Y/N.βΒ
She smiled and nodded her head as he faced her.Β
βAlways, Xavierβ¦shall we?β
His features reflected her own and took a hold of hand.Β
Entering his shed the two sat down in silence, Y/Nβs eyes dancing around taking in the paintings scattered along the walls of the tin shed.
Xavier was certainly an amazing artist, most of his works were of people, objects, animals and insects, all but one.
A hideous creature sat in the midst of his desk, unfinished and heavily sketched.
Walking up to it she lightly traced her finger tip across its face.
βWhat in the seven hells!?β
Coming up behind her he peered down at the unfinished piece as well.
βI knowβ¦I had a dream about it.β
Her eyes squinted, the creature had curly brown hair.
Looks a lot like Tyler's hair.
βItβs rather un-Godly to look at. Disturbingβ¦problematic if it were a real person.β
She concluded turning her attention back onto the tall boy.Β
βYeah. But before I woke, it looked like it had reverted back to humanβ¦weirdβ¦well itβs just a dream. Canβt be realβ¦I hope.β
A knock came from outside the shed, alerting both teens, who shared a look with each other. Their silence airing the same question.
Who was at the door?
Raising a finger to his lips Xavier carefully made his way to the door.
A knock came this time accompanied by a cry for help.
βHey come on. Please somebody open up.β
Swinging the door open Xavier and Y/N were met by a breathless Tyler, who stumbled in.
Meeting Y/Nβs eyes as he came toward her. He was the last person this girl wanted to see, out of all the people to come knocking on Xavierβs shed door had to be him.Β
βWhy couldnβt it have been a demonic entity?β Her snide remark echoed in Xavier's mind.
βI knowβ¦You donβt think he was following us?β
βMy suspicions believe so.β
Tyler finally got a better view of Y/N. The first time in two weeks he finally got to see her, talk to her.
To feel her skin against his fingertips.Β
βHey.βΒ
She shot a look at Xavier.
He knew she wanted nothing to do with the curly head boy at the moment. With cautious steps she slid past Tyler and to Xavierβs side.Β
βHeβs giving off this strange auraβ¦I can feel it and I donβt like it one bit.β
βYeahβ¦something definitely isnβt right.β
The taller boy smirked, his eyes never leaving Tylerβs frame.
βWhat exactly are you doing here? Shouldnβt you be at home with your dad?β
Tylerβs eyes crossed between the two, but didnβt leave Y/Nβs once they landed on her. Begging her to believe every word that came out his mouth.
He needed her trust, no matter how hard Xavier tried to convince her.Β
βYou guys have to believe me, I swear. I was looking for Elvis, and then Iβ¦ I heard this growlβ¦I thought it was Elvis, but it wasnβtβ¦You have to believe me.βΒ
His pleads went deaf to Xavierβs ears, Y/N, on the other hand, held an unreadable expression.
She wasnβt about to let him get into her mind and heart, not after the last time. Leading her to believe that there was the tiniest hope he may like her.
She had been ready to finally open up and experience what having emotions, good ones, were like. But seeing him there on the other side of the glass kissing Wednesday was a different story.
Casting her head away, she found Xavierβs expression hardening.
The muscles in his jaw clenched tight, warning Tyler he had overstayed his welcome.Β
βI truly believe you should leave Tylerβ¦ Maybe inform Wednesday of your worries regarding your dog. I am fairly certain sheβll have the slightest bit of heart to care, since you two are rather... intimate... that way.β
Her voice stabbed him in the heart killing off the last of his light. Tyler finally got the hint that she wasnβt going to budge with his nice guy act anymore, so better to let the beast out now.Β
βFine donβt believe meβ¦I just have a few last words for you, before you die.β
Y/N and Xavier snapped their attention to the lonesome boy.
His green eyes no longer held that sparkle of light in them. His skin became deathly pale, veins appearing along his forehand and neck.Β
βOh this canβt be good.β
βBy Lucifer's hooves. This is not something I want to see Xavier.β
βI agree, let's head outβ¦if we can.β
βSTOP THAT!β
His voice shook the tin shed, sending a deep vibration through their soul.
Oh this is definitely not good, at all.
βI know youβre communicating telepathically. Youβre so stupid Y/N. Thinking I donβt know what youβre thinking.β
His laugh sent a shiver down her spine as he locked his eyes on hers.Β
βSee the thing is Y/Nβ¦ even though you believe youβre incapable of feeling emotions. Your eyes speak for themselves. Everything is in your eyes.βΒ
Your eyes.
She continued to watch him pace up and down, tutting as his foot landed with each step.Β
Your eyes.
Her own words betrayed her.
Used against her.
How dare he!
βAnd how the hell do you plan on doing that, cryptic normie?β Xavier growled.Β
Ceasing his steps, Tyler avertedΒ his attention back on the two and simply smirked.
βRather than tell youβ¦Iβllβ¦justβ¦show you.β
As his words filled the air, the two watched in horror at the sight in front of them.
His eyes began to bludge.
Limbs elongating.
Clothes ripping.
Height increasing.
Muscles swelling.
His whole body grew in front of their very eyes.Β
A horror scene in the making and these two had no intentions in being a part of it.
βOh, fuck this.β
Without hesitation Xavier grabbed Y/Nβs hand and began running toward the school.
An earth scattering growl followed closely behind the pair. Turning back, in fear that Tyler was catching up with them, Xaiver and Y/N misplace their footing.
Collapsing to the ground, the panic grew harder, their focus became off and confusing.
Their lungs becoming sluggish and the air burning their windpipes. Y/N felt at any moment that she and Xavier were never going to see the likes of tomorrow.
Their hopes of escaping Tyler, were wearing thin with each second that passed.
βOh shit! Come on heβs hot on our ass Y/N, come on.β
Picking themselves off the ground both teens sprinted their way back to the school. Tyler's deathly growls the only noise in the surrounding air.
The gates were only a few steps away, opening themselves, Xavier and Y/N flew straight through the gates. Activating her power Y/N shut the gates.
The reddish-purple tendrils wrapped perfectly around the gate making sure they wouldnβt move.Β
βWhat is going on here?βΒ
Xavierβs movements were quick.
Weems stood behind the teens, her nightgown wrapped securely around her. Students and staff, following close behind her.
Whispers of worry filled the night air. Looks of confusion and worry painted on each individualβs face.
βWe could hear screaming.β
Gulping Xavier shared a look towards Y/N who was still focused on the gates.Β
βWe... were chased... by the, Hyde.β Casting his eyes toward Wednesday.
βYou...you were right Wednesdayβ¦Tyler...heβs the Hyde.β
Y/N prayed the tendrils around the gate wouldnβt give way; she couldnβt risk the whole school getting massacred by some numb nuts.
Tone deaf to all, a low growl reached her ears, increasing the thunder of her heartbeat. Her vision beginning to blur, droplets of blood dripped onto her perfectly plumped lips.
βYou think youβre out of the woods Y/N? This is only the beginning.β
Her gasps caught the attention of the staff and students around her, as a loud howl echoed throughout the night.Β
"Y/N!!!"
"HELP HER NOW!"

Her smile gleamed at the little girl sitting on the counter and hid the cookie behind her back. βWell, well, what do we have here? A little princess?β Y/N gasped, tiptoeing toward her niece.
The little girl giggled, kicking her feet with glee. βYes, Aunty N/N.β
βWhy am I honored to have such a beautiful princess in my coffee shop? May I know your name Miss Princess?β Y/N curtsied.
βIβm princess Belle, Aunty N/Nβ¦the one you like.β Her giggles filled the air once again and gained the attention of onlookers. Y/N raised a brow and with her other hand began tapping her chin. βPrincess Belle? Hmm, Iβm sorry miss Belle, but Iβm looking for my niece Eleanora. Have you seen her around, I have a special gift for her.β The little girlβs brows furrowed at the woman in front of her, desperately wanting her cookie. Her little big e/c eyes welled up in tears. In a fit of panic Y/N whipped the cookie out from behind her back and placed it in little Eleanoraβs hands.
βYou know youβll make a good actress one day, buttercup.β Her laughter brought a smile to the little girl's face. Either that or the cookie that was now in her grasp.
βYou keep on feeding my daughter cookies, and you can start taking her to the dentist.β
βOh, cool it, Sandra. Sheβll be fine! This little tiger has my genes, remember.β Y/N laughed pinching Eleanoraβs cheek. The womanβs sister-in-law rolled her eyes as she turned the store sign rendering it closed. The local news played in the background catching the attention of the two women. Their eyes glued to the tv screen as they continued to wipe down tables.
All well suited soldiers standing firm and strong in a row behind a podium. Y/N thoughts instantly went to her brother Rick, wondering if Sandra had heard from him at all.
βHey Sandra?β The older womanβs eyes were on her in a second and took notice of how her eyes held that look.
βYeah?β
βHave you heard from Rick? Is he okay?β
Sandra knew this was coming, she just hoped not any time soon. How could she answer them when she didn't have an answer herself? the stress of not knowing where her husband was, had been eating her up inside. The constant feeling of something bad happening sat in the pit of her stomach, her baby even knew. Every time she would think of him, a kick would submerge from within. Letting her know, they knew and felt the same emotion as her. But for now they were all left in the dark, a dark that would sooner or later be answered.
β...No, I havenβt.β
Nodding her head Y/N went back to wiping the table, not before taking one last look at the television. βWhere could you be Rick?β
The two women had finally closed the coffee shop, with the help of Eleanora. Who insisted on cleaning the counter where her cookie crumbs sat.
βOkay you little monster, Iβll see you tomorrow night for our little sleep over.β Y/N smiled, kissing the little girl's head, before bidding Sandra goodbye.
βGive John my warmest remarks, and tell him for God shakes to ask Danica out already.β
βI can only try. Remember next week Iβm having you all for dinner okay?β
βYes, I remember. Iβll see you tomorrow night. Have fun with Jessie and the girls.β
βYou bet I will.β Y/N laughed and waved goodbye, before setting off on foot to Johnβs place. Allowing her mind to wander to the day Rick and Sandra got married.
She could still recall the day she watched her brother get married to the love of his life, smiling bright. His eyes held the light of purity in them as if he saw nothing but his one and only, his other half.Β
Rick and Sandra's WeddingΒ
Y/N felt a hand gently grasp her fingers as she watched her brothers every move.
βOne day thatβll be you, my sweet angel.β Her fathers gently tone always washed away her worries. Especially after the events that occurred with her mother when she was 6 years old.
βThank you, dad. But I think it might be John next, not me.β She giggled as she watched her brotherβs best friend eye the woman on the other side of the altar.
βI suppose youβre right there, angel. Those two make a perfect couple as well.β
Present Day
Smiling at the memory Y/N skipped up the steps to Johnβs front door and anxiously waited. She promised to bring him a batch of baked pastries the next time the shop had some left over. His front door opened, and in an instant, she jumped at the sight of him. Engulfing the man in a gigantic bear hug, oblivious to the group of people watching from the couch.
βOh John, how Iβve missed you.β Her whisper tickled the side of his cheek before she gave it a big kiss.
βI know, kid, I know. Iβve missed you too.β He smiled and pulled away, surprised they didnβt squish the baked pastries. Y/N melted into his touch, it felt good to have a warm set of loving arms wrapped around her. The feeling reminded her so much of him, she missed her brother, Rick. And to see John brought light back into her world.
βHowβs Rick? Have you heard from him?β
βNah, itβs been a good two weeks. Sandra is starting to get a little worried. With Eleanora constantly asking where he is and the baby being almost due. But you know, working for the government and all that crap.β She laughed as she made her way into his living room. Surprised by the sight in front of her. All eyes on her, expect one.
βOh ummβ¦Helloβ¦pastries?β
Bob had been anxious about Johnβs invite. As he hadn't hung out with friends in ages since he volunteered to be a part of Valentina's experiments. Not believing he forgot the one thing he used to be so good at. Socialising, and with this new power brought the fear out of everyone even when he was himself and sentry. A beast created by a monster. The modern day Jekel and Hyde. But when he heard her sweet voice, all his worries and thoughts disappeared and for once he felt at peace.
βHey bud, you better close your mouth. You might catch flies.β A gruff voice whispered in his ear. The realisation hit him like a truck. He was staring at the girl in denim overalls, who placed a container of pastries out in front of everyone.Β When did I look up? How long was I staring? Oh God I hope I didnβt make her uncomfortableβ¦Shit sheβs looking at me, avert your eyes Bob, avert!
βAnd by the look John is giving you, I would hurry it up.β He took one quick glance at John and averted his intimidating gaze.
βSo, are you going to introduce us to this light of beauty? Are we gonna have to guess?β
If looks could kill Alexei would surely be shot, twice. One by John and the next by Yelena.
βOh, for God sakes, Alexei please stop.β
Drifting his glare from the older man. John locked eyes with Y/N silently asking for her permission, which earned him a nod from the girl.
βGuys this is Y/N, my best mate's little sister. Y/N meetβ¦β John named each person, giving the girl a slight wave and thank you for the treats. Her eyes landed on the quiet one of the bunch, she noticed he didnβt have one of her pastries in his grasp. Quick to her feet she made her way to him.
βHey.β in a heartbeat he locked eyes with her, and noticed in an instant the warmth that swam inside them. Bob could only muster up a small smile, as she gestured to the small spot beside him. βMay I?β
Without hesitation he scooted across, allowing room for her and averted his gaze from her.
βWould it be considered prying if I ask, why you havenβt grabbed a pastry? Theyβre fresh and handmade, none of that factory made stuff.β
Bucky watched the two, silently scolding Bob for not speaking. Within a split-second Bob was up and uttered something about needing to go to the bathroom. How were they supposed to tell her that they were hiding the most dangerous man on this earth from a crazy psycho? Who the public saw as a saint.
βSorry Doll, heβs a little shyβ¦donβt worry give him time.β
βOh okayβ¦nah thatβs understandable.β She smiled as she pulled out a napkin and placed a sweet on it. βWell, when he comes back tell him to try this Orange creme filled Pasticciotto. It was my grandfatherβs favourite.β
Bucky nodded at her introduction and smiled. βOf course, Doll.β
Standing up she bid her goodbye to everyone and allowed John to walk her out.
βOff to see Jessie, I take it?β
βYes I am, hence the second box.β She gestured to her arms.
βI swear you spoil him and his nieces. When are you two going to get together already?β
βWell excuse me for being a nice neighbour, and besides I could say the same thing about you and Danica.β His eyes widened at her remark, knowing damn well she was right, he had been planning to ask but was just scared. Ironic right?
βI will, I will. Gee I got you, your father and Sandra on my back about it.β
βYou better, coz sheβs also coming next week for dinner. To which I hope youβll still be comingβ¦hopefully, Rick will be back by then.β John noticed how Y/Nβs demeanor changed at the mention of her brother, but as quick as it came it left. Smiling, she kissed his cheek and bid him goodbye. John closed the door and went back to the group, wondering where Rick could be.
Y/N turned in the direction she intended to proceed down, she was stopped by a figure in a trench coat.
βMay I help you?β
The figure stepped closer, heels clicking against the pavement.
βWhatever you do, donβt trust that man.βΒ Man? What man? Who could they be talking about.Β As Y/N went to question the strange figure, they disappeared right before her eyes. Blinking, Y/N froze, shocked by the scene that just occurred. Snapping out her shocked state, she began her journey to Jessieβs place. Spearing one last glance behind her. βWeird.β

Y/N creeped along the cold dark corridor, listening for a sound, a breath, something. That damn vampire had escaped her sight and lead her into this random building unknown to the human eye. But she knew, oh how she knew. The building had this odd aura to it. Her watcher warned her about unknown places, and how they usually lead to no good. She tightened her grip on the wooden stake in her hand and took a breath to defeat the uneasy feeling in her gut. I can do this, I can do this. As she continued tip toeing, footsteps caught her hearing. Spinning around she came face to face with the creature she had been searching for. In a flash she brought her arm back ready to strike only for the vampire to uppercut her into the vents at full force. She tumbled through the vents trying to fight off the creature, as they came to a quick stop. As the vampire came down to her neck the creak of the vent caught their attention.Β
βOh fuck.β Splitting open the two fell through the ceiling and into a closed area. Groaning they both rubbed their necks. Taking this opportunity to strike Y/N jumped at the vampire. Her actions catching the attention of the trio in the room.Β
βYou fucker.β She seethed.Β
The unknown three watched in awe as her punch sent the vampire flying across the room.
βHoly shit.β Yelena breathed and turned to John, gun still in hand
The h/c girl was light on her feet as if she were dancing to swan lake. As quick as she was, so was the vampire, who jumped to his feet and grabbed a hold of her fist.
βYou wonβt live to see tomorrow, slayer.β His hissed bringing her arm under her back getting her in tight lock and spinning her around. Her back now pressed against his chest as he pushed her up against the wall.
βI donβt think so, jackass.β With brute force she brought her feet up and pushed off the wall, sending them both flying into a metal box. The vampire groaned and let her go.
βNow, where were we?β As he went to stand, Y/N took action. Plunging the wooden stake deep into his chest, striking her target. His heart. He gasped at the action taken by the girl in front of him, his eyes peered down to the stake lodged into his chest.
βOh for fuck-β She removed the stake and his eyes met her, as his skin began to fake and turned to ash. His body, nothing but dust now swept away into the air. She watched him disintegrate and was able to finally catch her breath.Β
Yelena began to clap, startling the poor girl who gave the performance of a lifetime.Β
βFuck! How long have you been standing there?β She gasped, her hand held against her chest.Β
The trio shared a look of guns now placed in their hostlers.Β
βNot sure. Probably twenty minutesβ¦but if youβre asking before you came a good ten.β The short white-haired woman answered, in a thick Russian accent. Y/N nodded wearily, taking in the three people standing in front of her. A man with a semi hooded mask, with a suit that represented the late Captain America, Steve Rogers. A man Sam Wilson had mentioned to her several times when she worked alongside him and Joanquin. His gun pointed in the centre of her head. Next to him, a small white-haired woman, in a black suit with her hand resting on her holster. And lastly a tall, tanned woman with pitch black hair, mirroring the man's actions. βUmmβ¦okayβ¦who are you people?β
The taller woman cocked her head, βI could ask you the same thing sweetheart?β
She watched as the man followed suit and clocked his gun, βYeahβ¦youβre the one that killed that man.β
Now it was Y/N turn to cock her head. βThat thing I killed was not a man. That was a vampire.βΒ
Confused, the trio shared a look with each other and faced her. βA vampire?β
Y/N suppressed an eye roll, βYeah! Did you not notice the-β
A siren ceased the young woman's voice as the walls around them began to close. Snapping their heads around the room they watched in horror as they now became victims of an ungodly act. The last metal wall fell to the ground sealing them in, the echo silencing them. The hair on the back of Y/N stood up in alarm, something was off, and she did not like it at all. βSomeone else is here.β She mumbled feeling his presence and spun around, facing the man in front of them.Β
The trio behind her brought their guns up once again and came to stand beside her clocking their guns.Β
βWoah, woah. Oh no.β He panicked and raised his hands in surrender.Β
βWhoβ¦who are you?β
Fumbling with his words, he finally let out an answer.
βIβmβ¦Iβm Bob.β His blue eyes locking with Y/Nβs e/c ones. Unknown to everyone she could see the shadow behind him lurking in the dark waiting for a chance to escape. The Captain America wannabe, faced the three women to his left, their attention focused on Bob.
βWho sent you Bob?β Yelena questioned, flicking her wrist at the man.Β
βNobodyβ¦wait, you were all sent?β
Y/N raised a brow, out of them all she wasnβt sent, she was led here against her will by that fucking vampire. Yeah something is definitely off here. Letting them continue their standoff with Bob. She took this as her cue to leave and began tapping against the metal, trying to find a hollow area.
βHey! What the hell are you doing?βΒ
Ignoring them, Y/N grabbed a hold of a steal pipe and with her brute force smashed a hole through the metal wall.Β
βI think, sheβs trying to escape.βΒ
Satisfied with her damage, she slipped through the hole leaving the group behind.Β
βI hope I never bump into those losers again.βΒ
-Two nights later-
Y/N sat in her apartment watching tv. When the local news came up, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine on screen. Standing on a podium with several military soldiers surrounding her. As she tried her best to listen to the news her phone rang.
βHello?β
βHello, L/N.β A breathy voice sighed into the phone. She knew that voice all too fucking well. Anger filling her veins. This better be good. She pondered wanting to hear their answer.Β
βWhat the hell do you want?β
βI need your helpβ¦We all do.β
We? Who in Godβs name could he be referring to?
βLook. I donβt know what game youβre playing but I told you to never call me after what happened with Sam.β She had only agreed to help Sam, not this one. Sam enjoyed Y/Nβs company and took her under his wing when her watcher wasnβt around. And at times would ask her to babysit his kids.Β
βPlease Y/N. I already spoke to your watcher, and he agrees you should help.β Now this, oh this angered the fuck out of her. How dare they plan something against her back, against her will.
βYouβve seen too much for Valentinaβs liking. Sheβs hunting you down as we speakβ¦it could be seconds, minutes, hoursβ¦even days before she finds you.β He was right. Whatever she had stumbled on was something top secret that could end badly. And after seeing the news about this Valentina woman. She looked the type that would stop at nothing to get her way.
βIβm not happy that you went behind my back. But-β Y/N was cut off by her apartment door flying off the hinges, What the actual fuck.
βY/N? HEY! Y/N WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING?β His voice shouted through the phone.Β
βWell, you know that company you were all so graciously informing me about. Has finally arrived.βΒ
βDonβt move, weβre coming to you.β
βI can take care of myself, bub!β She hissed, and hung up the phone readying herself for combat.Β
Two soldiers came in guns locked on the girls frame. βNow, now. Hasnβt your mother told you it's not polite to kick down a ladyβs door.β She smiled.Β
βOh I wouldnβt call you a lady, Miss L/N. An interesting force of nature, but a mere immature child, yes.β The young womanβs blood went cold when the wicked bitch herself walked into the room.Β
For fuck sake.Β
βDonβt you have better things to do then bug meβ¦besides what the hell does a demon like yourself want with someone like me?β
The older woman tutted at the young womanβs language. βMy, my. Donβt you have a dirty tongue. Should get that fixed, maybe cut out.β
Y/N eyes narrowed, as she watched her move about her apartment.
βNice place, it would be a shame if someone broke something.β Valentinaβs fingers grasped the picture of Y/N and her father. βCute.β And dropped the frame, glass cluttered the clean floor. βIβm here to make you an offer, Y/N one that will change your life.β
Y/N gave no answer, which Valentina took as a sign to continue. βHow would you feel working for me? Side by side with my secret weapon. No rules, no watcher's council breathing down your neck.β
Confusion struck the young vampire slayer in the face. What the hell is this whackjob talking about?Β
βSo what do you say, Y/N? Will you be joining me and Sentry in our mission to make the world a better place?β
Her eyes locked with the devils in front of her. She had faced creatures darker and scary than this woman standing in front of her. Yet there was something more sinful lurking in her eyes. No demon or entity lurking behind her. In a heartbeat Y/N made her decision and took a step towards her apartment balcony.Β
βIβd have to sayβ¦ Tough Shit. Lizard skin.β Sticking the finger up she leaped off the balcony and into the sea of people. Landing on her feet she broke off into a sprint.Β
βI WILL FIND YOU Y/N! AND IF I DONβT HE WILL! AND WHEN HE DOES, YOUβLL WISH YOU WERE DEAD!β Valentinaβs rage rang through the cold winterβs night. Y/N took one last glance up at her balcony she shook her head βFucking looney old hang.βΒ
Weaving through the crowd of people, she knew she couldnβt go back to her apartment. With that crazy bitch and her lap dog after her. It would definitely be bugged with some sort of tracking device in there. Lost in her thoughts she hadnβt noticed the arm reaching out to her. In a swift motion she flipped the owner of the arm to the ground stake ready to strike their chest.Β
βWoah, woah. Donβt fucking stake me with that thing L/N.βΒ
βFor fuck's sake Barnes.β She hissed, hovering over the man.
βL/N removed the stake from my chest, now!βΒ
With hesitation, Y/N slowly moved the stake from the manβs chest. Brushing himself off, his light blue eyes found hers in the dead of night. Facing them she took in the group, her eyes scanned each face, before they landed on one, she knew all too well.Β
βWould someone explain what the hell is going on here?β The tall lady from the other day asked, annoyed by the silence between the group.Β
βYeah, an explanation would be nice, Barnes.β
βQuite John.βΒ
Bucky turned to face the group, βThis is the girl I informed you all about.β They all shared a look.Β
βThe one that helped you and Sam last year?β John asked.
Bucky gave a nod.Β
βCare to explain what's so special about her, Barnes.β Y/N shot a look at the taller woman whose question didnβt sit well with her.Β
βLetβs just say sheβll be a big help.β
Three days later
They all stood inside the elevator, squished up against each as they made it to the final floor.Β
βFinally, I couldnβt stand another second of the music.β Alexei muttered, a few team members agreeing with him. The doors opened to a giant display window; one by one they stepped out. Guards surrounded the room, and sipping a glass of champagne was the person who started this all.Β
βAhh so nice of you to join usβ¦I see you brought Y/N along with you, now Iβm in an even better mood.β
The young girlβs face contorted into a look of disgust.Β
βEnough chit chat Valentina, whyβd call us here?β
They all watched as the woman brought the glass up to her lips, taking another sip. The air felt heavy, a similar feeling to the one Y/N had when she first met the group.Β
βPatience Mr Barnes. All good things come to those who wait. Bring him.βΒ
Two soldiers entered with a man dressed in a suit, like Superman's.Β
βBob?β Yelena questioned.Β
βNo, not Bob. This is Sentry.β His glare hardened as he locked eyes with Y/N. She couldnβt read his expression. Never in her life of fighting demons, vampires and Godβs had she been so confused. From all the books she read on these evil beings, did it ever talk about this.Β
As Valentina and Bucky continued talking. Letting her eyes wander, Y/N studied her surroundings, and made sure she had options for a quick escape if things went ugly.Β
βSure Mr Barnesβ¦β In a split second, Y/N was thrown out the window by a strong force and let a cry for help. Quick on their toe John and Alexi leaped after the girl.Β
βLetβs see how strong this so-called slayer is.β Valentina smirked, taking one last gulp of her drink.Β
βWell Sentry, you know what to do with them.β
Bob faced the trio and flicked his wrist at Yelena and Ava. Sending the two women flying across the room, before turning to Bucky.Β
βYou really think you can save the world?β His cold voice tutted, capturing Buckyβs metal arm. βYou are only kidding yourselvesβ¦β The clicks of metal filled the air. Meeting his soulless eyes, Bucky hissed in his face. βGo to hell.β
βWrong answer.β With that the manβs metal arm came flying off.
Down below, Alexi and John managed to save Y/N.Β
βAh guys, weβve got company.β John stated, watching as void made his way out the window.Β
βOh fuck!βΒ
The manβs hand waved over the city creating a black moss, causing people to enter a state of panic.Β
βCome on, we have to get out of here, Y/N.β Alexi grasped the girlβs arm, heaving her to a nearby building.Β
βWe are so screwed.βΒ
John was right they were screwed. None of them had the power and abilities to fight this thing, no stake or cross would bring him down. As they peered out from the side of the building. They watched the scene unfold, the chaos and destruction this man was causing. All because of one crazy ass bitch.Β
βWell, we canβt stay here, we need to go back to the other!β
βYeah, great idea Alexei, but um how do we get past that.β The thick cloud was making its way to them, if they stayed put they would end up like the rest of the people, a pile of ash. Y/Nβs mind ran wild, trying her best to come up with a plan and that's when it struck her. A basic but effective idea. The two men watched as the girl began searching through the rubble of rocks. Tossing some aside, inspecting ones that looked perfect and gathering a small pile.
βWhat the hell is she doing?β John questioned the other man, as he got up and also began helping the girl.
βIs this a good size?β Alexei asked, showing her a hefty size piece of rubble Y/N.Β
βPerfect.β She made her way back to their original spots.
βWould you tell me what the hell you're planning on doing with those?βΒ John, gestured to the rocks in her hands.Β
βI believe if I throw at least one of these hard enough to his skull. Itβll knock him unconscious and give us a bit of time to make it to the others.βΒ
βAnd if you miss?β
βThatβs the thing John I never missβ¦well wish me luck.β she smirked and took off with lighting speed.
Turning to his side, John came face to face with an excited Alexei. βI like this girl. She got spunk.β
Β Stepping out of her hiding spot, she began analyzing her surroundings. Sentry had his back towards her and took this as an opportunity to begin aiming.Β
They want to know what a slayer is, Iβll show them. At full force she sent the rock flying striking her target right where she wanted.
βBullseye.β As quick as the first one went, then came the second. Knocking him down unconscious. A gleeful cheer rang from behind her, Alexei and John came running toward her.Β
βGood shot kid.βΒ
βThanks, now let's go before he-.β Y/N words ran thin when a voice behind them called out.Β
βHey ummβ¦excuse me.β The trio spun around to see Sentry awake, without hesitation Alexei and John pulled out their guns.Β
βHey woah, woah. Iβm not Sentryβ¦Iβm Bob. The good half.β He pleaded hands raised in surrender. Y/N spared a glance between the two men and smiled at another brilliant idea coming to mind.Β
βWhy donβt you two head on up to the rest, Iβll meet you lot up there.β Facing her they saw the glint of mischief in her eye, John and Alexei took their leave. Having faith, she knew what kind of situation she was putting herself in.Β
βOh thank god, I thought - hey arenβt you the girl from the other day?β He waited for her response but she stood in her place, not moving a muscle. Y/N observed the man standing in front of her and found it quite interesting that one moment his hair was light blonde and the next it was dirty blonde. This is far beyond her line of work when it came to creature theology. Man, Giles would have a field day studying this one.Β
Bob couldnβt believe his eyes. He finally got to see her again. God knows how long he had been asleep, whilst Sentry was in control. He wanted to thank her for knocking the entity out and allowing him to have control over his body again. Y/N's beauty enchanted him. From her long black lashes, plump red lips, to a figure and a head of hair that film stars would die for. She put Selena Gomez to shame with her features. He couldnβt stop himself from walking over to her towering over her figure. She looked up at him through her lashes, he felt his body become hot. It was either her or the suit. Lost in her eyes Bob began to lean down, Y/N took this opportunity to kick start her plan. When he was close enough, she smashed her skull into his. Knocking the poor man out cold and began dragging him towards Valentinaβs building.Β
βLoser.βΒ
The elevator doors opened to reveal an unconscious Bob and an unharmed Y/N.
βWhat the hell happened to him?β Ava ask as the young woman dragged Bob to them.
βTestosterone is a great equalizer - it turns all men into moronsβ¦no offence fellas.β She smiled, plopping his body in front of their feet.
βSo what do we do with him now?β Everyoneβs focus went to the man in charge.
βWell Valentina will most likely come looking for him again. We take him where she canβt track for a while.β Bucky concluded.Β
βIn that case, if the apocalypse comes, call me and in the meantime donβt.β Y/N smiled taking her leave and pausing in front of the elevator doors.Β
βSee ya later Thunderbolts.β She winked and stepped inside.Β
βPlease tell me youβll actually call her if we do end up in war.β
βYou bet your sweet ass Barnes is.β
-Back at Y/Nβs apartment-Β
The girl opened her door, to reveal the messy kitchen oblivious to the figure sitting in the corner chair. Tired and bothered, she pulled open her fridge door and grabbed a Lemon Ruski. Popping the lid open she took a swing of the sweet alcoholic drink. As always it hit the perfect spot satisfying her taste buds. As she ended her sip, and examined the glass bottle she felt a presence. Shifting her gaze into the corner of the room her body tensed. βDid he recognise you?βΒ
βNo, not at all.β
βGood lets keep it that wayβ¦for now.β
βOf course! You have my word.β
βUntil then stay away from the thunderbolts, especially from him.β
βOf course.β She pondered at asking what she had been dying to ask.Β
βGood girl!β The figure got up to leave.
βWait!βΒ
βYes?βΒ
She bit her lip and dared to ask. βWhen can I see themβ¦or at least be able to call them please.β
The air around her grew heavy, she knew what was coming in full force. The figure stood in front of her, fingers gripping her chin.Β βStick to the plan, succeed and youβll see themβ¦fail and they all die, especially Gabriel. Do I make myself clear?β The girl nodded her head furiously.Β
βYes, yes of course. I wonβt fail you. I promise.β
βAtta girl.β
She watched as the figure disappeared into the night. Taking another swing of her drink Y/N peered down at the picture of her and her friends. Xavier, Mason, Allison and Y/N all smiling in the graduation gowns. She wiped the tear from the glass frame. Man, how she missed them, missed Gabriel. Lord how she missed Gabriel. Y/N thought after all the shit they had been through, they would still be together. Maybe my life is like that TV show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, after all. Except she has a happy ending, and I donβt.Β
She let out a dry laugh, and tossed her empty bottle over the balcony. Watching from above the glass smashed against the concert ground.Β
Β βInto every generation, there is a chosen one. One girl in all the world. She alone will wield the strength and skill to stand against the vampires, the demons, and the forces of darkness; to stop the spread of their evil and the swell of their numbers. She is the Slayer.βΒ
Death is my gift.

Next part: CHAPTER 1
March 1994
"I swear to God, Timmy. If that bitch is there, I'm gonna Rocky Balboa her non-existent ass."
A little giggle escaped her make-up artist Erin's lips. A satisfactory smile appeared on the brunette's face.
Timothee had been pacing and snapped his head at her girl in the make-up chair.
"You will not be Rocky Balboa, anyone's ass, anywhere." He hissed sternly.
Y/n had to suppress her russet brown eyes from an oncoming eye roll. It wasn't her fault she couldn't stand the bitch.
"Timmy, she fat-shamed Selena. How can I just stand there, smile, and go 'omg hiiiii. Nah, me oh, it's cool that you fat-shamed my non-biological sister and gave her hell' with the sweetest tone and then giggle. Like a dickhead."
She dramatised, swinging her hands around the room, almost knocking out Erin.
"Would you be careful? Nearly sent Erin into a coma."
"Sorry, Erin."
The older woman waved her off.
"Y/n, I've known you since you were twelve. My duck and cover skills are at their peak."
Smiling, Y/n looked up at Erin with appreciation.
"That reminds me, thank you for coming all this way."
Carefully dusting the eyeshadow, Erin pulled away and smiled.
"I should thank you for flying me out and sending a limo... especially with that hot driver. You spoiled me."
Timothee watched as the two conversed.
He couldn't help but smile; Y/n had been in a bit of a rut for the past two months. She had expressed wanting to fly back home to Australia but with the finalising ofΒ Nosferatu,Β premiers and interviews. Time was not on her side, so having Erin here had brought the young girl a sense of home and familiarity that she had so desperately yearned for.
"And there we have it. All done, my dear...wait let me fix this piece of hair...okay...yep now we're done."
He watched as her eyes danced along her features in the mirror, lips creeping up into that gorgeous smile.
"Oh, Erin." In a flash, the brunette wrapped her arms around the blonde, squeezing her tightly.
"I've missed you so much...I swear you're my fairy godmother...hands of gold."
Blushing, Erin ushered Y/n away.
"Okay, enough of that; you'll make me cry. Now go put your dress on. You can't walk around in your undies."
Y/n tossed her robe over Timmy's head and winked at Erin.
"Wouldn't ya like that? Toodles." She cackled and disappeared behind the curtain.
"I know Sebastian would...or shall I say...Matteo?"
"SHUT UP TIMOTHEE!"
"It's official, I hate heels. I don't care what anyone says. They're painful...how the hell does Cecilia walk in these." She complained.
If someone were to have walked in, they would think she was dancing to the twist.Β
Timothee rolled his eyes and brought the red clutch to her. With one final twist, she stood up straight.
"You know, I wish I was at home watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer right now...at least then I do have to wear heels. I could be in the living room fighting, doing flying kicks and punches. You know, get my vampire slayer on."
She explained, shifting into a boxing stance.
Timmy took hold of her hands and brought them down to her side.
"If you decided to do that, you won't see 'lover boy' tonight."
Way to use my kryptonite.Β She thought.
"Plus, you can do that once we come home. Get some pizza, popcorn and Moscato."
She eyed him carefully.
"What's the catch, big boy?"
She knew him too well.
"Don't Rocky Balboa anyone, and we can do it...Rocky Balboa, someone and I'll force you to come with me to see Kylie on our next outing with Kendal."
Timmy watched as a mortified expression formed on her face.
"You wouldn't dare."
Casting that Jack Nicholson smile, he chuckled. "Watch me, babe. Just watch me."
"Fucking asshole." She mumbled as he opened the door.
...................................................LOADING...................................................
The crowd was wild.
Flashing lights left, right, and centre.
Celebrities posing for the camera.
The paparazzi called for pictures.
Fans screamed at the top of their lungs.
Interviewers were bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
Eyes danced across the chaotic scene before her as the flashing lights gave her a slight headache. She had been standing to the side, waiting for Timmy's return.
Checking her watch every five seconds, she noticed that her patience was wearing thin, and the line for the red carpet was beginning to get overcrowded. And damn well knew that leaving this place early was not an option.
"Boo."
A cold, wet hand grasped at her shoulders. Spooked, she spun around and threw a fist in the direction of the person as they ducked before she could knock them out.
"Geez, Y/n. Your flight or fight senses kick in like a bitch."
"You should know better than to come up behind me, you jackass."
She hissed and shoved the man.
"Where's lil ol Tim Tim?"
"He said the toilet, but God knows."
His brown eyes caught the young French actor being interviewed by Entertainment Tonight.
"Looks like Frenchie is being interviewed."
Y/n followed his stare in Timothee's direction and shook her head.
"Typical..."
Hearing the annoyance in her voice, he linked his arm with hers and smiled.Β
"Come on, princess. Gotta turn that frown upside for Mr Matteo Martari."
"You better watch that tongue of yours."
The two stepped away from the flashing cameras and to the interview station.
Y/n felt a gentle pressure on the small of her back. Looking back, she noticed his tanned hand resting there as he led her towards an unoccupied table.
"They should provide sunglasses. Those flashing lights are going to make me blind, I swear."
"Well, I'll make sure to pass the message on."
She shot him a look, brow slightly raised, and smirked.
"Sure baby, whatever-" A tap on her shoulder stopped her from finishing that sentence.
"Excuse me."
The two turned around. A young woman in a gorgeous ivory satin dress nervously smiled with a cameraman behind her.
"Hey, what's up?" Y/n smiled at the two.
"Would it be okay if I interviewed you both?"
"Of course." Y/n beamed, taking hold of the young woman's hand. "You don't mind if I ask you for your name, hon?"
The young woman's head perked at Y/n's comment.
"Emilia."
"A beautiful name for a beautiful woman. Got me jealous over here." She winked as Emilia blushed.
"You're such a flirt, Y/n...shall we?"
She handed the microphones to the two actors, who began to play lightsabers with them.
"Good evening, and welcome to the Academy Museum Gala 1994. I'm Emilia Rivers, and tonight I am here with."
"Kelso." He winked into the camera.
"and Jackie from that 70s show." Y/n smiled cheekily.
"Sorry, sorry. Y/n Grasso."
"And Joe Keery."
During their interview, Timothee interrupted Joe by giving him a peck on the cheek.
Emilia contained a giggle as Christian panned the camera to Y/n, who held her mic firmly and fluttered her eyelashes.
"And there, folks, is a new and beautiful romance between two star-crossed lovers."
"I apologise on behalf of him. Please continue, Emilia." Joe's statement cleared the air.
"Thank you, Joe. Now I have one more question for you both."
"Shoot away, hon."
"As you know, we have two brand new faces here tonight. Have you come across the TV movie, Monsters?"
Joe beamed at the question, whereas Y/n blankly stared at Emilia.
"Yes, of course, I've watched it. I found it quite interesting. The art between separation of reality and fiction."
Joe's words began as Y/n zoned out.
She had no interest in watching a TV show about murders or a documentary.
At least in the documentary, it's fact rather than an overly sexualised fantasy.
Too in her thoughts, she missed Emilia's call her.
"Hmm?"
"Emilia here asked about-" Joe started.
"Oh yes! I remember, haha, sorry. No, I haven't, sadly. Though I do recall my grandmother,Β according to my sister, did but only made it through a few episodes. Too modern for her taste." She laughed tucking a strand of hair.
Emilia smiled at Y/n's actions.
"That's so adorable. Well, thank you so much for the interview tonight. I hope you both have a wonderful rest of the night."
The two actors smiled kindly, thanking Emilia and Christian, as Y/n blew kisses.
"Bless you both."
Joe excitedly rubbed his palms together as the two walked away.
"She was very nice."
"Yeah, she was the nicest and most beautiful presenter I've spoken to all year round...she and Christian look cute together. Did you see how they shot each other those cute little looks? Ahhh, young love, how beautiful."
Y/n sang with a skip.
"You know, for someone who loves her paranormal, blood, gore and murder. It freaks me out how you still have a soft spot for romance."
Joe laughed and died a little when he noticed Y/n went quiet.
"Out of all the interviews I've had this year... Emilia is the first person not to ask about... Matteo." She sighed.
"That bad, huh?"
She paused and rested a hand on her temple.
"I...uh...I just... it's hard, you know. I've known him since I was sixteen years old... honestly, I didn't think he would take a liking to me...someone eighteen years his junior, ya know."
Joe nodded along to her words.
"Yeah, I understand... but hey, I'm also older."
She smiled, shaking her head before she met his eye.
"I know, but with you... it feels perfect... I feel somewhat safe in the presence of you and Timmy. Hell, even the little encounters I've had with Sebastian...I know, I know, it's weird that I say that. But you, and Timmy...don't cast a big shadow over me...You two don't make me... feel like I'm being swallowed whole... but for my father, Matteo is perfect."
Joe knew where Y/n was coming from and how she felt. He saw it for himself when Matteo would show up on the set of Stranger Things to see her.
He thought the two looked cute together despite their height and age difference. But secretly, he was rooting for Y/n to fall for him.
Joe and even Timmy could see it in her eyes, the constant confusion, the mix of emotions, towards Matteo. Like she had someone else on her mind.
Joe turned to Y/n and grasped her hand. "Come on, let's go find Florence and Ella."
...................................................LOADING...................................................
On the other side of the gala, two men stood beside each other, posing for the cameras.
Flash!
Snap!
Flash!
Snap!
His eyes squinted, and lights blinded him, but he still held his stance firm, death glare along his handsome features.
"Alright, that's a wrap. Thank you, Nicholas and Cooper."
After hours of being there, they sighed and moved to the side. The relentless photos, interviews, and check-ins with event staff and other celebrities were starting to annoy him.
"Hey, check that cutie out. She seems like your type, Nick. Small, bright eyes." Cooper pointed out.
Following his friend's gaze, he noticed a young girl interviewing Selena Gomez. While she was attractive, her beauty didn't intrigue him. He craved being star-struck and amazed by a woman's presence.
"Hey."
To their surprise, the twoΒ MonstersΒ actors were face to face with none other than Joe Keery.
"I'm Joe Keery, nice to meet you." Joe greeted, holding out his hand.
Nicholas smiled and took hold of Joe's hand, giving it a firm shake.
"Hey, Nicholas Chavez."
Joe Keery, the late 1980s heartthrob who captured his ex-girlfriend's heart.
Nicholas' smile deflated at the thought of his ex. His gaze became harsh as he took in Joe's features. Luscious chocolate hair, warm brown eyes. 5'11 and built like an athlete.
The young actor understood the fascination.
The two men shared similar features, such as brown eyes, hair and tan skin. But compared to him, Joe was small. He did not compare to Nicholas' thick, solid muscles and his overpowering 6'1 figure.
Nicholas's intimidating gaze was humbled. There, she stood a few meters away from Joe.
Her flowing red dress danced with her laughter while her hand rested softly on Timothee Chalamet's bicep. With a smile, her eyelashes fluttered as she gazed up at the blue-eyed man.
He couldn't keep his eyes off her as he took in her features. H/c hair was neatly styled in a Dutch braid. A few wisps of hair fell in front of her eyes. The colour of e/c eyes with a hint of e/c when in the light were complimented by long black eyelashes that brushed so gently against her fair cheeks. He wished she was looking at him with the glint in her eye instead of Timothee.
Feeling eyes burning on their back, Y/n and Timothee turned to find a strange young man amongst a group of Joe's, staring them down. Moving in closely, Y/n pulled Timothee closer to her as her gaze hardened;Β two can play at this game fuckface. She thought.
"The hell is he looking at?"
"Y/n, you can't say that."
The young woman turned her attention to her best friend and smirked. "I can do and say as I please, Timmy."
"Nick, you okay, man?" Cooper called. Turning his gaze toward the group, he smiled.
"Yeah...just who's she." The two men followed his stare to Y/n, who was getting ready to give Nicholas the finger.
"Y/N! Put your finger down right now." Timothee's voice called from across the room.
"Spoil my fun, why don't ya?"
Joe and Cooper share a look, stunned by the young woman's menacing behaviour. She sure is one of a kind. Not afraid to be who she was.
"Who? The girl giving you the finger? That's Y/n L/n."
The statement made Nicholas chuckle. This girl seemed feisty, a challenge he could work with.
"Huh...Interesting...think she'll be interested in this?" Nick smirked, hand moving up and down.
"Take it from a guy who's been trying for six years Nick... there's no winning that battle. She's seeing someone...an Italian heartthrob. As a matter of fact." Joe breathed eyes trained on the girl in red.

Casting his eyes to his co-star, he nodded.Β
"Yeah sure did, tell me. Who the fuck is Lorenzo Zurzolo and Bill Skarsgard?"Β
