California 2 0 1 8 : Morro Bay
The morning started in the car after a relaxing night time drive from Will Rogers Beach in LA to now Morro Bay, California. Soon after waking up I quickly remembered how I forgot to wear sunscreen during my 6-hour Venice Beach slump. It was cold outside. Not the chilly cold, but the sleep deprivation cold after waking up from a crusty car-seat night's sleep.
Peaking over, my buddy Mick began to stir. Fast forward five minutes and I am standing outside the car looking into the foggy horizon shivering my ass off with my sandals and good intentions. Mick is digging through his luggage to find my a jacket that fits to which he found a plaid blanket instead. Onward.
accumulating cameras and assessing terrain, we go for a walk around the brushed area of the Harbor, revisiting the steps we ha taken the night before when there was nowhere to piss. The fog was hanging on, though clearly dissipating and we were snapping landscape shots, peacefully, in the distilled air warranting very little verbal disturbances. *Click* Adjust. *Click some more*.
This brings me to right now. At Morro Bay Coffee Co. I am writing this little spiel in the company of Mick and the old men at the other window, discussing Ferrari's in Santa Barbara. I ordered a Cortado from the bar and got a weird face.
"It's like a dry Cappuccino... I'll have a cappuccino."
One hybrid Cappuccino and Egg-Croisssant sandwhich later, my stomach is thanking me and my bowels are activated. We are looking to wrap-up and head over to Morrow Rock.

There’s a girl wearing a ‘Men have made a lot of bad art’ shirt to the Met. What a power move
A lot of male art has to do with the power and beauty of women...

No it’s not. Panoramas like this are a painstaking, labor-intensive digital product, not made by just “rolling down a hill”.
This image, “Big Sur,” is part of a series called “Alterrnative Perspectives” by photographer Randy Scott Slavin. It is an example of stereographic projection.
“Slavin’s circular panoramic digital technique is a way of seeing only made possible through digital methods and is an orientation he masterfully devised after much experimentation. The time required to capture the images and then create the photographs, which can consist of hundreds of photos “stitched” together to create a single 360-degree image.” (Amy Frearson, Dezeen.com. 2 July 2012)

I thought it was cool as is, but doubly so now with the right info
