          Bloodied hands trembled as Carlisle pulled the brunette into his office, the blood not her own. At least not all of it. Memories of the event kept the trauma fresh in her eyes, words trapped in her mind as she raced to find the words, to explain herself, but nothing but gibberish sounds would echo from her. “ It’s not mine. ” she finally croaked, the tears glistening in her eyes.

thatcher could read the distressed look on her face the more they played around the stranger that got their attention. he didn’t fully understand the extent of what libby could do, but as a friend, he tried his best to be as open minded as he could about it. coming from a ignorant and hateful family caused quite a challenge of this, but as most people would, thatcher vowed to be nothing like his family. 

“of course. i may have to drag you along anyway… just in case i get too drunk and start hitting on the lead singer.” thatcher laughed as he trailed a long the hallway, arm in arm with libby. no matter what they planned on doing, thatcher was always happy to spend time with her and take a break from the supernatural drama.

                  Thankful for her best friend, the brunette walked beside him, arm in arm as the small pep returned in her step. “Oooo well I know for a fact that the bassist is 100% gay, so I will so be your wing woman.” she teased, thankful as her stalkers thoughts slowly filtered out of reach of her powers.

“We need new outfits for tonight.” she declared the peace in her mind finally returning to the excitement for tonight's events.

it came as quite the shock upon learning that his best friend had flipped the humanity switch. for years, she had played maternal with him and stepped him out of the darkness that he was in for most of his life. she reached his desire to cause bloodshed and plucked it out of him, even when things were so dark that he thought there was no coming back from it. for libby, someone who thatcher had seen as strong willed, it came as a surprise. after receiving a phone call from the salvatore brothers, thatcher didn’t leave the distaste in his tone once he started interacting with them and when he learned of the news, he rushed out into his car and drove to the salvatore house. 

he wasn’t welcome with a warm embrace but he was respected enough to be the only solution to bringing libby’s humanity back. for this situation, he knew he would have to keep the caring best friend at the door and bring the unruly executioner into the room… otherwise libby would call his bluff right away. she was too smart for him to act weak around her, and if he played right into her hands, there would be no reaching her. 

he gathered the tools necessary to drive her over the edge… vervain, knifes, and his collection of guns. “so this is how it’s going to work….” an emotionless tone escaped his lips as he dug the blade right into her thigh. “you’re gonna flip your switch back…. right now. i can do this all day, libby. in fact, i haven’t even started yet and i know that i am going to enjoy it.” a smirk formed on his lips as he stuck the knife out of her thigh and dug it right onto the opposite one, pushing it down slowly until the entire blade sunk into the skin.

                    The sound of her pain echoed into the cold damp basement, the blood thick on her jeans pooling against the seat beneath. She had strayed too far from her humanity, a promise she had made to herself that she would never reach even if the time had come. Tears flooded with the act, her pleas turning sour as the laughter echoed from her.

Pale hues glared into his, “Surely you can do better than that Thatch? or are you going soft on me?” she taunted, swinging her head just a enough to fling the hair from her face. She knew she could play him like a fiddle, guilt him into letting her go, but the game was only just starting.

“You wanna know the first thing I’m gonna do when I get out of here?” she grinned swallowing with a dry mouth. “I’m gonna kill you all.” she hissed, the promise viscous on her tongue.

i know it’s been a while, but i thought i would start re-vamping my girls a bit today including changing my dash icon to show my support for pride month. i hope those in the lgbtq+ community know what flag it is. <3

i will be returning at some point this week ( unsure when but deffo this week! to both here & @shootingforsultry​​ ). the last few weeks have been hectic as hell from my youngest turning one to his dad getting a new partner. life has been throwing curve balls at me that have had huge highs with equally painful lows. roleplay was & always has been my release from the real world so if anyone is still willing to roleplay with me, give this a little like so i can be sure to come plot with you while i build up the courage to attempt to write again. thank you all for being so patient with me, i honestly appreciate everyone of you! <3

Catching her roll her eyes at his reasoning for disliking Elena he offered a cocky little grin, listening to her further complain about Elena. Then, looking over the rest of the classroom he stuck his hands into his pockets before rocking lightly onto the tips of his feet “ Elena gives me very ‘main character’ vibes. And I don’t like that. So, that’s why I killed her. Throw your complaints into the trash, bois! I have become your new main character! I have infinite plot armor.” Kai announced then “The baddest bitch of all, Kai Fucking Parker.”

Though at Libby’s 'wait’ he glanced over to her “Hm?” His words seemed to reach her. Was someone finally, actually hearing what he was saying now. Blinking, Kai paused for a moment, his cocky demeanor dropping briefly. Before he righted himself in the next moment and looked out over the classroom once more “Oh yes. I’ve been twenty two years old for damn near forty or so years. Lost my head a bit. But it’s fine. I died. And I came back. I got my revenge. And Elena is gone on top of it! Hooray!” Kai gave a cheeky grin “All those years of abuse, and neglect. And solitude. Oh the solitude was the final nail in that coffin. Paid off in the end. -However…If we nixed Bonnie–”

Biting on his lips he tilts his head, watching the other for a moment before hearing someone entering the room “Speak of the devil. BONNIE! Hello. You finally made it to class on a day that ends with a 'Y’ thank goodness.” Rolling his eyes he shift and turned away, making a face toward nothing for a moment. Then he cleared his throat “–we’ll need to save her blood…"He muttered under his breath, to which Bonnie sharply questioned with a 'what did you just say’ remark.

                    Libby couldn’t withhold the small smirk creeping at the corner of her lips. Everything about Kai radiated big dick energy and maybe that was true, but the brunette wouldn’t wonder on that for too long. “ Shit. That sucks. ” she said her expression reading genuine empathy towards him. Then the voice of the witch she detested rang. Her saddened features now turning sour.

“ Ugh... ” Libby groaned, turning her attention towards the librarians desk. The open book upon it more enticing than whatever the witch had to say. Kai’s declaration of blood draining however peeked her interest for just a moment. “ Now that sounds like fun. ” the tribrid grinned.

Bonnie on many occasions had tried to detain Libby’s own magic as well as her attempt to use her magic on the other supernatural parts of her, but all attempts had failed epic-ally as well as any friendship or trust that could have been.

            To say that she wasn’t excited for this was a clear understatement.
