Describe your involvement with the DIY community Right now I'm currently playing the bass in Chroma and XM2 from Barcelona, and also I play the guitar in Rakta from São Paulo Brazil. I'm running a small record label that I just release punk records from people that I love. This record label started as a fanzine a looot of years ago and in the last 2 years I decided to transform the project in a record label. I've recently released the Chroma LP, Rakta's new 7'' and futurely I'm releasing the new Rakta's LP. When was the first time that you heard this record? I don't know actually, probably when I was around 11 or 12. This record is part of brazilian culture haha. How did you discover it? I have some friends that some good years ago were working in a record store and they had me as their mascot (I was a kid and I was always around their store because my dad was working close by and I didn't have much to do, so I was playing around and meeting people) and as I couldn't buy any record at the time not just because they were expensive, but actually because I didn't get much attracted by them, my friends were making tapes with a copy of some records for me. Some day they made a copy of this record because I asked them to: I loved the cover and I wanted to know what was inside of that.. Why did it change your life? At the moment I hated the record, it was a deception, but I gave a lot of value for the tape they recorded to me with the SUB comp because it was some kind of friendship demonstration.     Say what you want This is a record compilation with the 4 most important punk bands in punk history (Cólera, Fogo Cruzado, Ratos de Porão and Psykóze). Every punk should have listened and loved this record.

Describe your involvement with the DIY community I've been making and publishing zines with the goal of providing a community supported venue for artistic expression for the last twelve years. In the last few years I've tried to coordinate events and exhibits that help visual art and artists to have an interesting outlet in the punk scene. I played in the bands GAG and TransFX until a few months ago when I quit to go to India. Currently I'm working on a sitcom series that showcases paintings. When was the first time that you heard this record? When I was thirteen, so about 15 years ago. Wow! that seems so far away. But also just like yesterday. How did you discover it? My cousins showed it to me. They were always showing me cool music growing up. That's why I eded up moving to Olympia. That's were they lived and that's where the music was (and is happening). Why did it change your life? It is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. It has really stood the test of time for me. I like it more today than the first time I heard it. I've always been drawn to sad music, and it is really hard to execute it in a way that isn't annoying (this record does just that). While on tour with GAG for the last four years we would listen to this album a lot. Jeff, the drummer, has some of the works tattooed on him. It was especially life changing for me driving through the south west. Like in Arizona and New Mexico. In the desert during an alright drive and the sun is just about to come up. One of the best music experiences of my life.

Record: Devo “Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo!" ♫ _

Describe your involvement with the DIY community I currently sing and play bass in a sort of noise rock band called Moth Slasher, I regularly do a lot of illustrations for band merchandise, and I occasionally book shows at a cafe/venue/art gallery in town I work at called PG. I have been playing music with people in various bands since 2009 and did vocals for a short-lived hardcore band called Chuckleheads last year. When was the first time that you heard this record? I heard it sometime in 2003 when I was a freshman in high school. How did you discover it? I don't remember because I have the memory of a leaky old former boxer. I used to read Spin magazine a lot back then and I probably found it that way, I guess... Why did it change your life? Well, growing up as a socially inadequate nerd it left quite an impact on me hearing music being created by other total nerds other than Weird Al (and I really really love Weird Al). I grew up interested in punk music and video games in a very small rural town surrounded by extremely conservative yokels, where being a non-male interested in said things is apparently incredibly subversive and gets you picked on a lot. Devo's whole perspective on the theory of devolution really struck a relatable chord with me as a young guy in the environment I was in. Their music is both funny and catchy and I quickly became obsessed with this record. Say what you want I've been Sexy Mark Mothersbaugh for Halloween/Halloween weekend regularly since 2011. Describe your involvement with the DIY community I play in LA URSS + CARNE, We start a new label LA CORPORACION in order to edit our own records in a 100% DIY ethic. Also the other members of LC book shows all over Spain, I´m actually more interested in Art books and zines, two years ago I opened with a friend EL RAPTO, a screen print & design studio which quickly became a productive art space in my city. Now I release a lot of Art publishing for me or another people interest in do things together with us. I'm working there as designer, tattooing and no sleeping. When was the first time that you heard this record? Actually I was in the recording playing bass so I heard it pretty soon. How did you discover it? We started to practice influenced by all those 1980´s spanish punk and another foreign punk bands, probably in this record our sound wasn’t 100% original but we were in the beginning of the history, was the #1 release of brewery records. Why did it change your life? I didn’t choose that record because I thought that is the best record ever, just because was the first release of my band that I liked, we were living together and after that record we started to do shows and tours in Europe and America..     Say what you want Has been 10 years since that recording a we are still touring and now self editing our records so probably one of the best thing I've done in my life was joined LA URSS, probably we will release more copies of that record soon I hope to have the chance to screen print the LP covers and assemble then in EL RAPTO. diy or die.

Describe your involvement with the DIY community I will try and keep this short. Since I was a young teenager I have been trying hard to do everything the way I want to. In every aspect of my life. I quit school at a very young age and had very clear what I wanted to do: TO DRAW. So, I suppose that was my first contact with the DIY scene and the punk/hardcore philosophy. I can handle it on my own. I started having a distro and booking shows under the name of Capuleto Twins with a very good friend of mine from Madrid. We did that for a while but it wasnt really worth it. The “Scene” (argh!) was still too small and only macho hardcore crap ruled the city. Madrid is kind of rough sometimes. We ended up really dissapointed with the so called “hardcore family”. Everything was a lie so I just set my own path and so he did. That really brought us together til today, tho. I have done tons of zines, set up shows, design record covers/posters/ etc for other people, released records and played in several bands such as (Stay Gold Ponyboy, The Mushitcians and Grabba Grabba Tape). I also started a record label called Gssh! Gssh! Records in 2000. Then I quit because I was broke. I also opened a record store but people were not buying shit so I shut it down because my debts where getting really scary. After that I opened a gallery focused on comic and illustration called Watdafac and that didnt work either. Oh! I try to run a publishing house now called “(Thee Order ov) The Hobohawk”. I guess I have been losing money my entire life but I'm happy with what I have done. I have enjoyed every single minute of everything. Good or bad. When was the first time that you heard this record? I was probably around 3 or 4 years old...   How did you discover it? My older sisters and I went to see the movie and since we liked it a lot our parents bought the record. Why did it change your life? I remember playing the record and dancing like crazy around the living room,  jumping off the couch with my sisters while singing along and all that. That was my first contact with pogo dance style and acting wild while listening to music. The “punk” in me was born that same exact day so I think I owe Enrique and Ana this tribute. Now was the moment for it. It’s my way of saying “thank you”. They were the first who introduce me into the Madness, the Agitation, the Prostest and eternal Revolt.  Original Cover:

Record: Bad Religion “How Could Hell Be Any Worse?” ♫ _

Describe your involvement with the DIY community Bandmember of The Monoliths, 0%, T.O.E, Yahowa and Butt Spacer When was the first time that you heard this record? I heard this record the first time in 1996. I was 12. How did you discover it? I remember hearing a song from this record in a skatevideo my friend Steven brought back from a holiday to the U.K. I bought the record shortly thereafter in Odense. Why did it change your life? Growin up in a very small town in a rural part of Denmark, there, was needles to say, not much to do for a young teenager. However at age 12, skateboarding and punk rock came into my life hand in hand. I remember, that I liked the feeling, that nobody in my small town community understood what my friend and I where doing, and we spent endless days watching skatevideos and listening to punkrock together in our rooms. How could hell be any worse by Bad religion came into my life in that time and I remember the impact, the songs had on me, with the machinegun sounding guitar and fast drums. But the lyrical content really hit me. Greg Graffin sang of a world turned to shit, where everything was despair and there was absolutely no way of doing any good anymore, but you still had a choise you could fight them back, or bow your head and go quitely into the night. Strong stuff for a teenage boy. Even the photo of the Hollywood skyline, by Ed Colver on the red and black cover, looked urban and exotic to me and I dreamed myself away to 1980´s Los Angeles. I guess its the same everywhere with kids growing up in boring small town shitholes. There is a million of stories like this. So this remake of the recordcover goes out to everybody, who did not grow up in Los Angeles in the late seventies and eighties. In my version of the record cover I changed the iconic Hollywood skyline with a picture of a pigfarm around the small town of Gelsted where I grew up. I guess it says it.   Original Cover:

Describe your involvement with the DIY community I was in a band called Blotter and used to book shows and draw for a lot of bands and flyers. I have a diy zine series called “Nothing Left to Learn” which I use to put out all kinds of zines, including comics and DIY resource zines (e.g., books of fonts and textures) that I hope people will use to make their own artwork. The idea is to do all kinds of written and visual work you see in regular media (sports journalism, movie reviews, comics, poetry, etc.) within a DIY framework. When was the first time that you heard this record? Shortly after the official Sorry State reissue, T think in 2006. How did you discover it? Looking up punk blogs on the internet--up until 2010 or 2011 all my exposure to punk music came from the internet, I didn't have any punk friends till then, haha. Why did it change your life? We started to become in punks and those There are a few punk records that i like more and were more instrumental in my falling in love with punk (Bad Brains LP, The Dicks first EP) or are more meaningful to my experience of contemporary punk (Career Suicide “Attempted Suicide,” Wiccans “Skullduggery” LP, all Culo records) but this one holds a special place for me. I think like most people the first records I heard were like Black Flag and Minor Threat and Bad Brains and The Dicks and The Ramones and all that stuff, and this record was one of the first records beyond that first influence that I got obsessed with and really pushed me deeper into it to a point of no return. Say what you want This was one of those records that I sat down with and listened to on repeat holding the insert in my hand, trying to learn all the lyrics even though it's so fast that you can barely hear any of the words. There's a line in “Dear Sirs” that always stuck with me: “tv, soldier, nothing left to learn.” It's sarcastic but in a really brutal and smart and cutting way and it's probably my favorite punk lyric ever. I named my zine series/label ʻNothing Left to Learnʼ after that line. It means something different to me than it means in the song and has kind of taken on a life of its own and become a mantra for me. In my experience when I read I'm not being taught something, I'm being made aware of what I already know or believe; when I write or draw I'm not writing or drawing what I know, I'm writing or drawing in order to discover what I know...so to me, “Nothing Left to Learn” is the epitome of DIY. This idea that everyone is already complete and capable of anything and it's a matter of being hungry and open and taking the world in order to unlock all that you can do. Original Cover:

Record: The Partisans “Police Story” ♫ _

Describe your involvement with the DIY community. I was playing in Fracaso from Venezuela and Demonios Salvajes from Barcelona. I'm a part of the crew organizing Barcelona Bike Wars. I use to draw for punk bands and anarchist projects and I'm involved also in the self edition world with couple of fanzines and small edition label. When was the first time that you heard this record? 2005 or 2006

How did you discover it? Some friend of mine borrowed me a copy of first punk and disorderly album. Why did it change your life? I'm not sure if this record particularly has changed my life in some way. Life is a complex thing and I think that in each period of your life you have some special “sound track”. But for sure this record is one of my favorite records since I was a teenager. First time I´ve heard it I´ve just fell in love with the anger and one of the best intros of punk songs ever (Police story, which is the first song I´ve ever played on guitar in a band in my life). Even now I listen to this record at least once a week and it turns me crazy like the first time.

Record: Eskorbuto “Los Demenciales Chicos Acelerados” ♫ _

Describe your involvement with the DIY community. I helped organizing shows for a lot of Spanish punk, garage or weird bands. Also cultural projects for people involved in the underground scene and I design a ton of record covers, posters and merch for my bands and other DIY punk bands. I played (and sometimes sang) in Mano de Mono, Sierra Leona and Juanita y los Feos. Currently I play the bass in Peluquería Canina and sing and play the bass in Las Venas. I was in charge (among others) of editing “Matado por la Muerte” compilations, something like “Killed By Death”, but in Spanish. I am also one of the founders of the “Cheap Collective“ in Copenhagen. When was the first time that you heard this record? When I was 15 back in 1991/92 How did you discover it? I knew Eskorbuto before knowing this album, their “Ya nos quedan más cojones”  was something like a popular song to sing when you were drunk. In the gang there was this Basque friend and one of the times he went to Euskadi, I gave him three blank tapes so his cousin, the “older” could fill them with music. Back in the days, this was one of the only ways to get music, back then this was internet. So he came back from Euskadi with 3 cassettes plenty of “Parabellum”, “Kortatu”, “La Polla Records”, “Zer Bizio?”, “Distorsion”, “MCD” ... and in one of the tapes there were 4 or 5 songs from "Los demenciales chicos acelerados”. That was something different from what I was used to listen to, it was different, it was something else. Why did it change your life? I was 15, a kid living in the suburbs, the newly built outskirts of Madrid, spending the whole day in the streets and Eskorbuto blew our minds. They were putting words to our feelings. It was not pretty, it was pretty sad and fucked up but it was how we felt, completely isolated and mostly full of hate. At one point, Eskorbuto divided the gang, something like “either you are on the Eskorbuto side or with the others”. Even today, I can understand that positioning. We were with Eskorbuto till its logical conclusion, tragic endings included. Musically and in my opinion, “Los demenciales chicos acelerados” is the most original Spanish punk album ever done. 20 songs on a double LP where the mix of music and lyrics becomes almost like a conceptual proposal. I was completely blown away with Juarma’s bass lines, something that later would mark my life forever… until today. My true passion for the HONEST music is because them, you know, after Eskorbuto I learnt to aprreciatte all "the real" from Johnny Cash to Devo.

Record: The Raincoats “Self Titled” ♫ _

Describe your involvement with the DIY community. Nü Sensae, C.C.R. (Cowboy City Rockers), Hick, Pink Eye, Exhausted Monologues. When was the first time that you heard this record? I first heard this record Christmas day when I was 13 years old. How did you discover it? I spent a lot of time at the library, I had read about this record a lot researching the Slits and other punk bands. Why did it change your life? I wanted to hear punk music so bad because I had read about it. This was right before downloading music was a thing, so I would read a lot about bands before ever getting the chance to hear them. Id see the pictures of the people and the descriptions and thought punk music had to be insane and I had to hear it. Somehow after the Sex Pistols this was the CD I stumbled upon, and I made my best friend buy it for me from a used record store for Christmas. I was totally surprised that it wasn't extreme or insane. Then I got to their cover of “Lola” and I didn't know it was a cover at the time and it melted my mind. Girl loves boy who is girl, girl is a boy. It was less confusing than it was right. I kept listening to the album. As I grew up and fell in love I listened to “Black and White” and as I got scared at night walking alone I listened to “Off Duty Trip”, when I worked in a supermarket I listened to “Fairytale In the Supermarket”, I listened to “the Void” all the time, and every single time I've been heart broken I have listened to every song on this record especially “No Lookin”.  This record was the first time I heard a very private voice in public, more specifically an unravelling woman. It made me want to make music and it confirmed to me that spikes and chains are just fashion.

Record: Circle Jerks “Group Sex” ♫ _

Describe your involvement with the DIY community. Since my early days as a teenager I made fanzines. I helped organizing shows and exhibitions for a lot of people. I played in Mushitcians, Von Grapa, Coldline... and we toured around Europe, which was a complete disaster (DIY hahaha).Nowadays I design record covers, posters or merch for other bands. So I am still involved in the punk and DIY scene, one way or the other. When was the first time that you heard this record? Before college, around 96-97 How did you discover it? Watching an old SURF/ BODYBOARD VHS video, the songs “ DENY EVERYTHING" “BEVERLY HILLS / OPERATION” “RED TAPE" was on and my head exploded. Why did it change your life? Something changes suddenly. I was leaving my hometown forever, leaving my childhood friends behind. At that moment you think you know everything about the world. And life moves fast. I changed cities from Galicia, to Pamplona to finally settle in Madrid. And after college and meeting new people, you realize you didn't know nothing. All those changes made me listen to music all day long, music helped me cope with all those changes in my life, specially this record.  I didn't have the money to buy records, so I would listened the tapes until they broke. Now I have the LP and when I listed to it all those memories come back. But of course, everything has changed. And it is not the same feeling.   Say what you want DENY EVERYTHING. Original record:

(Contentration Summer Camps), Altercado Espiritual or Muerte a la Muerte. Currently I sing in Templo del Pueblo. I´ve also done a few fanzines (We Are Robots and Crimecity) and I´ve designed posters and record covers for many bands (such as La Oposición, Hounds of Hate, Dawn of Humans, Shipwrecked, the Spits, la Moto de Fernan, Winterstorm, Good Fellaz...) When was the first time that you heard this record? Around 1992, I´ve bought this record in a trip to Paris. How did you discover it? I already had “The first four years” and sure loved it, and seeing this record cover in the record bin was love at first sight. It had that dark, menacing, tough atmosphere that my teenage self was a sucker for. Why did it change your life? While it´s tru that I ended up digging way more the Pettibone drawings in other BF records, the sound of this record sure was life changing. It is the soundtrack of teenage angst, depression and nihilism... It sounds like a bunch of cromagnons making musical instruments suffer, and an over the top singer screaming against the whole fucking world. It sure messed up my musical taste, and let me eternally looking for other records that can top this bad vibes masterpiece.   Say what you want Abajo la puta ley! Original cover:

Record: La Banda Trapera del Río “Self Titled” ♫ _ Describe your involvement with the DIY community. I got a really long love-hate relationship with diy community, making many things for really long time ago, pirate radio shows, vegan eateries, releasing zines and other publications like books, records etc. organizing gigs, driving for bands, giving shelter many times, etc. I mean helping any time i could. Actually, I’m working 100% in my own DIY project “Industrias Doc” from this I make artworks for bands,  gig posters or magazine covers and things like that, also this year I gave a hand organizing a big event in barcelona city called “Bikewars”, three days destroying and building bodies and bikes. In my opinion the DIY is much more than records or zines. Many of others aspects of my life are involved in a DIY way of doing and being. When was the first time that you heard this record? Alvarito (R.I.P) a old punkrocker from my home city borrow some records and K7 to us, my skateboard crew, we where already listened punk, a cassette with a really bad sound. He and others old punk rockers realise that we were punks with “patinetes” (skateboard). How did you discover it? They Music came from the army headquarters, Basque Country and Catalonia people come to the south of spain for paying a year on the obligatory army and brought his owm fucking rage noise. This was great for a village with 80/100 of the land, army owner. Why did it change your life? We started to become in punks and those records wake up us a political, hate and destroyer attitude. Later we started to meet people from other cities as Willo, Manolito or Jesus “El Gallego”, they were running DGK DISTRO and doing gigs in germinal social center in Cádiz. They showed us the hardcore/punk scene. Say what you want At the beginning I was thinking to draw a cover of MCD, any of Subterranean Kids, or freakshow from south of Spain like me, but a old friend from my hometown wrote and said me “man I saw a record and I bought it for you”. I saw this record remind me all this good, old and crazy times, nothing come stop me to have it for you. I went and saw the records I saw it and was great, so I draw this one. I’m complety sure that people from  LA BANDA TRAPERA will know about it.

Describe your involvement with the DIY community. I’ve been living in diferent towns/countries here i’ve been involved with DIY community as Barcelona, Granada, Rome, London or Guadalajara (Mexico). But the place where I’ve been more involved is Mallorca, my island...probably because I feel more responsability and is the place where I feel that I can be more usefull (not essential, obviously). When I was very young my first band was COP DE FONA, after that band I started ORDEN MUNDIAL that is my main band nowadays. I also play (or I’ve played) in MAQUINA MUERTA, PENA MÁXIMA and in a new band called PANTALLA. I’m part of a punk collective in Mallorca NIU DE RATES, we write a fanzine and we organize diferent kind of activities, as gigs, exhibitions, films, diners or parties... I’m also running a punk tape label with a friend (SANGRE AZUL) realising stuff that we consider interesting: DEMONIOS SALVAJES, TRANCE, MUJERCITOS, LOS MONJO, DESENTERRADAS,... I’m also a passionate about squatting, and I Love to organize the things there! (if possible..)

When was the first time that you heard this record? I discovered this record 13 years ago when I was 15 years old. How did you discover it? My passion for “rock music” started when I was 12 years old and I discovered Bon Jovi in a summer camp. After that moment, I got obsessed with that band and I started saving all the Money I could just to buy all their records. After a year and a half (aprox) and while I was experimenting the first changes of my adolescence (changes in my body and my mind, first joints and beers, first sexual experiences..) NIRVANA came to me. Yes, NIRVANA was my thing, I changed in a extreme way. I remember that after buying all NIRVANA’s records i needed more music and I started looking throught the grunge bands (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Mudhoney, Dinosaur Jr...) I never could find something like NIRVANA. After a while, wheen I was 14/15 years old I discovered punk music: Ramones, Sex Pistols and spanish punk bands as Eskorbuto, MCD, Zer-bizio?, La Polla Records, RIP, Paralisis Permanente and Cicatriz. Then I realized that What I found in NIRVANA and I was looking for in the rest of grunge bands was punk Music. Punk, Oh yes! Inadaptados from Cicatriz was just one of those records that I discovered and enjoyed when I discovered punk music! I really Love this record! Why did it change your life? Punk music in general changed my life because I found something totally new that I didn’t know before and I felt identified. I just felt in Love with that attitude, aesthetics and way of thinking (or provocation). Just listening to the first punk records i discovered, they changed a lot of my ideas I also remember a second wave of punk bands as Sin Dios or Intolerance that made me think a lot... (nacionalism, sexism, army, democracy, Police, jails, religion, money, private property, anarchy...). That’s also true that after discovering all this records I also discovered that in my Island (Mallorca) there where punks and interesting projects going on. Punk was the window that opened a new reality for me, an underground reality that made me feel better and funnier! Mallorca punk bands, Squats, concentrations...don’t know I started getting involved and...here I am...   yes...I became a punk!! Say what you want Today I’m just trying to create what I found when I was a teenager, I am very thankfull to all this people that was creating and doing things in Mallorca when I was an adolescent (all that under-world that i found and could enjoy). Today I still enjoying this world and I feel the responsability of continuing all those things that made me change and feel good when I was younger. But sometimes I’m just questioning myself the value of punk in itself. I think that’s very important to be crític and think by yourself.

Describe your involvement with the DIY community. I currently have a solo project of experimental electronic music called HAGAL.

When was the first time that you heard this record? I was around 15 years I had heard it before, but i actually listened to it about 7 or 8 years ago.

How did you discover it? My brother played it for me in his car. Why did it change your life? It did’t necessarilly change my life but it has accompanied me during many changes in my life in so many ways. It feels like the record and I developed a dinamic relation, which keeps changing and adding layers of meaning as time goes by. Say what you want This is the best spanish record ever.

Describe your involvement with the DIY community. Thwipp! / Carbonas / Chingaleros / Sacramento / I Am Kebap / Katas Naupas / Selva Negra / Disparched / N.O.T. / Evil / Punch / No Tomorrow / Rumble… When was the first time that you heard this record? Pre-adolescence

How did you discover it? The last day of the summer of the year I turned 13, or maybe 14… my friend and I decided to go through the records of his older brother and record a mixtape that somehow remembered those long sweaty vacation days about to expire; the summer we spent dreaming about kissing girls, riding someone else’s motorcycle and the summer we almost burnt a forest. We only had like an hour before my parents pick me up, get in the car, and go back to Madrid. So we run through the vinyls of his brother, chose a few Ramones and started to play and record the songs I liked by their titles. (-weird, everything was in english, we thought they were Spanish…-) There, just staring at the record spinning, we stood in silence for the whole time cause we thought that any noise, cough or talk could also be recorded on the tape. One, two, three, four…and everything changed. Forever. 

Why did it change your life? That day I was late and my parents got mad but I was holding in my hands something bigger than the whole summer itself. It was the first time I felt in every cell of my body “exactly” the soundtrack of myself. The first time I felt I belonged to something, didn’t really know exactly what but powerful and naive; the first shove to jump off the fence and the whole of me was shaped after that day; I was them, and they were me. It was a punch and a caress, shooting a machine gun while holding hands… cool, uncool and weird.

Record: Kamikatze (Self Titled) ♫ _

Describe your involvement with the DIY community. I play in two bands right now. Korp witch is a witchy d-beat band based in Copenhagen/Malmö/Umeå and Snor a raw punk band from Malmö. I’m a DIY printer and I make screenprints for bands and artist, and also my own art. Mostly on posters and textile. I love to use linocut and woodcut technics, and screen prints with several colors

When was the first time that you heard this record? 2005

How did you discover it? Kamikatze played a show in my old hometown-punk-community house Kungen in Sandviken, Sweden. I was amazed, inspired and so happy after the show. This was the first punk show I saw with only women in a band. I felt like a person who could do what ever I wanted after the show.

Why did it change your life? This record, and the concert, gave me a feeling that I could be in a band, and not only dream about it. Before this record, I never really thought of that. Because it was just nothing that I saw as a possibility, since the punk scene is how we still know it, male dominated and affected by the patriarchy. After this show and this record I was encouraged to start to plan my future of being a part of the punk scene, not only by making food for bands and sitting in the entrance of the shows, but also to play punk. It was a fantastic inspirational feeling that I had for years and that I still have 11 years later!
