I feel surprisingly breathless while reading this.
I’ve had these before in the USA when I was in the deep south as they say but when I’ve had them before they were pickle slices that were battered and fried~pickle chips, these fell short because if them being sliced length wise~when you take a bite you end up pulling out the whole pickle slice, if they did the simple modification of chipping the pickles or using chipped ones if there brought in because the batter is nice and crisp on these and you get a choice of aioli’s~in this case I chose the chipotle and it was nice without being too spicy (in the south the typical dip is ranch and that’s just fine in my eyes).
