he’s got his meaty hands wrapped around your neck, “typically, it’s common for someone being strangled to have no more than ten seconds before they lose their remaining air and begin to panic. ‘common’ meaning someone who isn’t trained to withstand their breathing for long times, like you and i.”
he’s got his heavy, tree trunk body straddling your chest, keeping you down as you start to wriggle under him and push at his forearm. “if there’s no leeway, like what i’m doing, you have a meek 20-30 seconds before you lose consciousness, and then your brain looses control of your bladder. you probably have to pee, right?”
you don’t answer, of course you don’t. you’re slapping at his chest, kicking your feet under him. “right,” he grins, and with the same force of both, he removes one hand and holds it up. “your vision becomes spotty, blurry. like how you see stars when you stand up too fast, that sound familiar?” he snaps his unoccupied fingers in your face, his knees tightening against your thrashing body as you squeak and gasp out.
he feels how your arms start to slow down, and watches your lashes flutter. “now i’m a doctor, so you’re in good hands honey. but after a minute, when your eyes feel like they can’t stay open,” he slaps at your face softly, “you could die. you will, if done properly.” he takes his hand offs you, smirking when you shoot up on your elbows and gasp for air, coughing and hacking under him.
he scoots next to you, patting your back and reaching over to give you the water. “you feelin’ ok? i told you you could pinch me if it got too much.” he watched you gulp it down, shaking your head. “no i’m-i’m great, that was…exciting. let’s do it again!” “no.”
