Here is a list of all my works! They can also be found by searching my blog under the tag âmy own workâ. I write as if the reader is female. If someone would want a gender neutral reader, please let me know. Iâd be happy to do that for someone so they could enjoy my work in a way that fits them better.
âThere are things worse than death,â said Hermione. She grinned as an idea occurred to her. âSuch as transferring all of your fatherâs vaults into your name and removing him from the wards around Nott Manor. He canât buy his way out of a conviction if you control his wealth.â
âYes, but then heâll try to murder me,â said Theo, though he was smiling.
Hermione considered that. âIf your father attempts to murder you, Iâll kill him myself. I refuse to let you commit patricide.â
âAnd you love me.â Theoâs thumb ran along the hem of her shirt, threatening to slip inside.
âAnd I love you,â agreed Hermione.
Look, I know we don't want to admit that our heroes can be flawed, but this isn't just people baselessly picking a rich person and saying they're a billionaire.
Don't hold back. Gomez will respect the revolutionary fire burning in your heart!
The Addams would bring the guillotines for the other billionaires, give away literally all their money and then still ASK for executions because itâs been so long since they had a good beheading in the family
honestly, you'd break his heart if you said you WEREN'T planning on sticking his head in a guillotine. morticia, too. they'd be upset at the special treatment, too, but mostly they really want to be executed gruesomely as they stare lovingly into each other's eyes as their heads are separated from their bodies, and we need to respect that.
Could you do a steve x Byers reader where she finds out sheâs pregnant after she moves to California pleas
omg stop this hurts my heart. also i donât know how to stop writing so this is longer than i expected. (also not proofread)
read part 2 here
when you left hawkins, it shattered steve harringtons heart into a million pieces. he begged you to stay, tried to persuade you to live at his parents house until you both could find a place to move into together.
the idea was so tempting, but you couldnât dare to leave your family. especially, el. after everything happened with hopper, she needed you and so did your mom.
steve, of course, broke down when you left. as soon as he walked into your empty house, his emotions hit him. but he stayed strong as he helped load the moving truck. time went by too fast and soon it was time for the byers family to leave.
standing outside of your childhood home, steve embraces you. his hands held onto your body so tightly, refusing to let go. his tears soaked your skin where his head refused to leave your neck.
youâre his best friend, and most importantly his girlfriend. how could he not be sad? especially with the rest of the kids crying around him.
âplease promise me youâll come back to visit.â steve sniffles loudly, pulling back to look you in the eyes. his hands move from your back to cup your damp cheeks.
âof course. i could not, not come back, steve.â
the look in his eyes makes your bottom lip quiver. tears spilling over your waterline when you blink so you opt to look down at your feet. âheyâŚâ steveâs voice croaks, bending down slightly to catch your eyes with his.
âitâs gonna be okay. just call me whenever you guys stop somewhere so i know youâre okay. iâm a big worrier, you know that.â he jokes, rolling his eyes in a playful manner.
even in this terribly dreadful moment, he tries to liven it up a little. you yank him back towards you, his body slamming into you from the force. âi love you so, so much, steve.â you sob into his chest, his back quivers under your touch from crying into your hair.
âi love you.â his voices rasps into your ear, pressing the longest kiss to your cheek. your fingers dig into his back, savoring the feeling of his body around you.
âalright, honey, we gotta hit the road.â your moms voice is soft as her hands rest on both of your backs.
you suck in a sharp breath, trying to keep in your emotions for steveâs sake. your bottom lip continues to tremble, which gives away how distressed you really are. your hands drop down to his to squeeze them, which he reciprocates.
âokay, iâll be over in one sec.â you sniffle, wiping your snot and tears on your sleeve.
once joyce walks away, steveâs hands fly to your face to pull you in for a kiss. his familiar lips slot against yours, kissing you as if this is forever your last kiss. both of your tears mix in between, both of you slightly weeping.
âi love you. i love you. i love you.â he mumbles against you before pulling you back in for one last hug. you take one last deep breath to hold onto his scent.
you slowly pull away, holding his hand as you reluctantly walk away from him. your arms are outstretched from each other, holding teary eye contact.
heâs the first to let go, taking a few steps back to stand with the rest of the hawkins group; dustin, mike, lucas, and max. you wipe your face as you shuffle over to jonathanâs car, hopping into the passenger seat.
âyou alright?â your younger brother asks. all you can do is nod since youâre afraid if you talk, youâll have another breakdown.
you stare at your feet, fixating on how dirty your shoelaces are. maybe you should clean them.
the ride to california was long and strenuous. you switch out with jonathan to drive a few hours, and with your mom in the u-haul truck. every time your family would stop, whether it was a gas station or pit stop, youâd call steve on a pay phone.
his voice is music to your ears, keeping you sane between being occupied by your brothers odd conversations. even eleven was annoyed. she refused to ride in the same car with both of them.
âso other than your brothers being total dipshits, how are you?â
âiâm okay. iâm just- actually really nauseous. iâm not sure if itâs because of my nerves, or whateverâŚâ you trail off, leaning against the warm brick wall next to the phone. the sunset beams against the side of your face.
ânauseous? go buy some soda and a snack. are you sure youâre okay?â steveâs voice grows concerned.
âyeah, yeah.â you laugh.
âi love you.â
âi love you. talk to you later?â you hum.
âyes, iâll talk to you later.â he confirms.
you sigh before hanging up the phone and walking into the gas station. you grab some chips and a soda before walking down another aisle. you spot condoms, smiling to yourself as memories with steve replay in your head.
your eyes spot a box of generic pregnancy tests, blinking at it as you zone out. when was your last period?
each one of your fingers tap the your thumb as you count the days in your head, âshit.â you hiss under your breath. you snatch the box off the shelf, peeking over the aisles to make sure none of your family is inside. you quickly check out at the front and tuck the box deep in your backpack.
âiâm guessing steveâs still okay?â will makes a dig at you as you walk up to the parked cars.
âshut up.â you grumble and hop into jonathanâs car, buckling yourself in. your mom shrugs at willâs protests against your attitude and shoos him and eleven into the truck as jonathan climbs in beside you.
âwhatâs going on?â he asks as his hand turns the key to start the engine.
âiâm fine. just drive.â
your brother grumbles something to himself before pulling off behind the moving truck.
a few more hours pass by, the time being sucked up by multiple power naps and a few mixtapes. you canât help but worry about anything you could possible think of. your brain convinces what youâre experiencing is motion sickness, or maybe youâre just steve-sick. your heart aches for him, all you want to do is be with him. maybe you made the wrong choice, maybe you should have just stayed in hawkins.
finally, you reached california. you pull out your camera, snapping a photo of the state sign as you drive past it. you canât believe this is actually happening right now.
you lean back in your seat, watching the trees and other cars fly past your window. soon, the sounds of tires on the pavement lulls you to sleep.
âhey, wake up.â someone shakes your shoulder, making you jolt awake with your fists up in attack mode. itâs just eleven.
âweâre here.â she gives you a sad smile before reaching a hand out to help you out of the car.
âthanks, el.â you mumble as she hoists you up. your eyes instantly take in the much larger home, the sun is warm but the air is refreshing. the tall palm trees above you rustle in the west coast air.
all five of you instantly make yourselves at home throughout the few first weeks. you unpack and set up your room. not without a polaroid of you and steve on your beside table- and also a few tacked to your wall- and on your desk. letâs just say, thereâs a lot of reminders of hawkins in your room.
youâve begun to worry about your nausea that comes and goes, and is especially worse in the mornings. the pregnancy test box sits hidden in the original plastic bag in your bathroom cupboard. you refuse to look at it because youâre not pregnant. at least, thatâs what you tell yourself. you end up confiding to your mom about you being sick, but she also agrees itâs just you being homesick and missing your boyfriend.
speaking of your boyfriend, you and steve talk so much. in the morning, during the day whenever you need to tell him something new happened in your life, and right before bed. sometimes, you both even fall asleep on the phone.
youâve started a new job at a nearby bookstore. which isnât terrible since you get to see what freaky novels people are purchasing. one day, when youâre stocking the new books in the fantasy section, a title catches your eye. âdungeons and dragons.â
from the mention of the game, something twirls uncomfortably in your belly. flashes of your home life rolls behind your eyes, playing d&d with your brother and his dumb friends. your feet instinctively take you to the bathroom, sprinting through the aisles of books with a wild look in your eye.
you barely make it to the toilet, hurling up the contents of your lunch in the porcelain bowl. god, you hate puking. panic settles in your chest, this time just feels different from the others. whether youâve puked because of an excessive amount of alcohol or a stomach bug- this time contrasts to the others. you can feel it in your gut. (no pun intended)
your manager, thankfully, letâs you go home early to rest. jonathan, eleven and will are at school and your mom is most likely running errands, so you have the house to yourself. you decide itâs time to take the pregnancy test. just to soothe your mind, not because you actually think youâre pregnantâŚ
you read the instructions over and over, until you finally give up and pee on the damn stick. you cover the soiled part and lay it on your bathroom counter. itâll be negative, you guys used protection every time.
every. single. time.
you pace in your bathroom as you replay every instance youâve had sex with steve in your head. vividly remembering each time he put a condom on. oh no, except one. your heart drops and your ears start to ring instantaneously. you canât tell if youâre suffocating or having a heart attack.
oh god, you remember it was week you found out you were leaving, both of you were completely plastered. the memory fades in and out of your mind. you were at his parents house, drinking and watching a movie, ended up listening to some music and drinking some more. the memory jumps from dancing with him, to fucking on the couch, then in his bed.
your eyes glance down at the test, seeing thereâs a line. your heartbeat drums in your ears as you grab it to bring it closer to your face. an evident pink plus sign is etched into the window.
you gulp down the rising bile in your throat, and throw the test away from you. it lands directly in the sink, clattering as it slides around.
âholy shit. no way. oh my god.â you ramble to yourself as you blindly stumble into your bedroom to your phone. you need to call steve.
the phone rings into your ear, hand shaking as you hold it up to your face. hot tears are already trailing down your cheeks as you drop down next to your bed.
âthis is steve!â his happy voice chirps on the other end once he answers. your voice refuses to come out, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water.
âhellllloooooo?â
âsteve.â you croak out, voice shuddering expectantly.
he calls out your name, worry obvious in his tone. âwhatâs wrong? are you okay?â
âsteveâŚâ you whimper, shaking your head, âiâmâŚâ
âbaby whatâs wrong? do i need to go to the airport and buy a goddamn plane ticket right now? seriously tell me what the hell is going on!â
âsteve! iâm pregnant!â you blurt out, voice raising.
the line goes silent, and you donât hear his breath anymore.
âsteve?â
âyouâre⌠pregnant?â his voice is hushed. you expected him to question you to see youâre prank if him, but he sounds quite serious.
âiâm pregnant.â you reassure.
âbut⌠how? i- we always..â he stumbles over his words.
âthe week before i left. we got drunk, and i think we might have forgottenâŚâ
âforgot to wrap it before i tapped it, huh?â he chuckles softly on the other end.
âseriously?â you laugh through your tears, sniffling loudly.
âam i really gonna be a dad?â his voice perks up.
âi think so, yeah.â you mumble, hand resting on your belly. your head leans back against your bed.
âyouâre in california. how is this going to work?â he breathes out.
âiâm going to come see you.â
and he does. he finds the next flight out to california from the indianapolis airport, and heâs there by the next day. you rush out of your house, stealing your moms keys.
âhey where are you going?â she whisper-shouts at you, holding her work phone away from her mouth.
âpicking up steve!â you groan as you slip on your sneakers.
âwhat?! steve? i-i gotta go.â she talks to the person on the phone and hangs it up. your mom stands up from her desk to walk towards you as she talks, âsteve? i didnât know he was coming! i mean- i- look at this place! itâs a mess!â she talks with her hands as she looks around.
âheâs doesnât care. i need to go.â you lean forward to peck her cheek before running out of the house. you completely ignore her protests as you hop in her car. you take off towards the airport, thankfully itâs not far away.
you pull your car next into the arriving lane, parking your car on the side where people are flooding out. you jump out to stand on the curb, eyes scanning the swarm of travelers, looking for his infamous hair.
âoh my god.â you mumble once you see a glimpse of his face. you start to sprint, dodging multiple people and hopping over luggages.
âsteve!â you screech, his head whips towards your voice. his round eyes widen, mouth turning up into the biggest grin. he drops his bag and sprints towards you, his body softly collides into yours.
your hands fist his tee shirt under his jacket, gripping the fabric desperately. you breathe in, taking in the scent of his cologne. the one youâve grown accustomed to, the one you missed so much. his hand cups the back of your head as you smoosh your face into his chest.
finally, you grow enough courage to look up at him. heâs still your pretty boyfriend, standing in the glory of all his freckles and bronzed skin. âhey, thereâs my baby.â he mumbles, his chocolatey eyes glance over your face.
âstill as beautiful as always.â he presses his lips to yours sweetly before pulling away. his other hand gently caresses your lower back, âi missed you so much.â you voice shakily breathes out against his lips.
steve taps your butt softly before his hand slips between your bodies, resting on your belly. âmy sweethearts. my babiessssss.â he says in a sing song voice.
your hormonal emotions take over, tears instantly springing to your eyes. âiâm so scared.â you admit.
steveâs eyes look down at you pitifully, giving you a sad smile. âeverything will be okay. i promise you, i wonât let you do anything without me by your side. iâll fucking move here if you want me to.â he laughs, squeezing your hip for comfort.
âi love you so much.â you sniffle. steve brings his sleeve up to your eyes to wipe your tears. âwanna go tell your mom now? like we planned, yeah?â
you nod silently, slipping your hand into his. he grabs his luggage and loads it into your car, before getting in the passenger seat. the whole ride, he couldnât keep his hands off of you. whether it was holding your thigh, your hand, or rubbing your belly.
once you pull into your driveway, you see that the pizza van is parked in the grass. which means, jonathanâs stoner friend is here and the kids are home.
âsurfer boy pizza?â steve almost laughs.
âjonathanâs friend. he drives them everywhere. all they do is smoke weed.â you grumble and get out of the car.
âsmoke weed?!â steve follows you, face screwed up with confusion and mostly shock.
âsteve?â elevenâs voice sounds. sheâs standing on the porch, staring at you both.
âhey, kid!â he rests his arm over your shoulders as he walks up to her with you.
âis this a⌠surprise?â her statement sounds more like a question.
âyeah.â steve glances at you, âwell! we got some more surprises, letâs go inside.â you mumble, leading her through the front door.
the smell of pizza instantly hits your face, âhey guys! oh, steve! itâs so nice to see you! look at you!â joyce exclaims as she hands a paper plate full of food to will.
âoh hey, bro-chachoâs!â argyleâs eyes are hooded as he sits at the dining room table, waving slowly to you. jonathan just nods at steveâs presence as he shoves food into his mouth.
âwow, theyâre totally baked.â steve chuckles in your ear.
âel, come get some pizza!â your mom calls for the girl standing behind you.
âokay, guys. can everyone stop eating for a second? we have something to tell everyone.â you call out over the chaos.
all eyes are now on you and steve.
âuh oh, bro.â argyle blurts out.
you can feel your chest constructing with anxiety, but steve continues to rub comforting circles into your shoulder.
âare you guys getting married?!â eleven shouts a question at you from the table, pure fear in her expression.
âuhm- noâŚâ you clear your throat, looking up at steve whoâs beaming down at you.
âmaybeâŚâ he whispers into your ear secretly, making goosebumps rise on your skin.
âiâm⌠iâmâŚâ you take a shaky breath before continuing, âiâm pregnant.â
everything goes silent, even the loud chewing sounds emitting from the two stoners.
âpregnant?â your mom is the first one to speak.
jonathan swallows his chewed up pizza thatâs sitting in his mouth, âcongrats, sis.â he continues to eat nonchalantly next to a quiet argyle. a sight you havenât seen before.
âwhy didnât you tell me?â your mom is on the verge of crying.
âsteve is going to be the⌠papa?â eleven asks will, and your little brother vigorously nods his head as he stares at you and steve.
steve gulps as joyce grows closer to you both, âmom. i shouldâve told you earlier, iâm sorry. i just got so nervous.â
âdonât be nervous, honey. everything will be⌠uhm- fine.â she nods to herself, her hands grabbing yours to hold.
âmrs. byersâŚâ your mom gives steve a look, âsorry.. joyce. i just want you to know that your daughter means a lot to me, and so does this baby. i will make sure theyâre both looked after, and iâll be by her side through everything.â
joyce stares at him with a look you canât decipher before she surprisingly pulls him into a hug, âyouâre such a good kid. thank you, thank you, thank you! you guys are so cute together, and iâm gonna be a grandma!â she squeals happily, stepping back to look at you both.
âyou guys want to eat now?â she starts to walk away towards the numerous pizza boxes.
you glance at steve who shrugs with a little smile that says, âyour mom took that better than i thought.â
having steve by your side while you broke the news to your family truly kept you sane. you canât help but imagine what heâll be like when youâre in labor nine months down the road. most likely erratic, but in the best way possible. you gaze up at your boyfriend whoâs chowing down on pizza, and he raises his eyebrows at you from your staring. you know heâs going to be the best dad ever, just by how he cares for all the kids and protects them.
itâs hard to put into words, how much love is shared between you both. steve harrington fell for you even harder than he couldâve ever imagined. what was just a simple friendship in kindergarten, blossomed into something so much better. now youâre starting a little family with him, and everything seems to be falling into place.
a/n: this does feature major volume 2 spoilers!!!! but i immediately had this idea watching and needed to start writing it and put it out immediately after i finished lol itâs not edited but just something short and sweet. enjoy! <3
âYou got it?â the box weighs down your arms a little but you nod, tightening your grip on it. Filled to the brim with old blankets and stuffed toys, it feels almost nostalgic.Â

The Byers annual New Yearâs Eve party was a high point of year for invitees. They never missed a year, ever since Joyceâs divorce from Lonnie, which was finalized two days after Christmas nearly five years ago. The first party had been to celebrate the divorce itself, and to keep her company for her first New Yearâs alone. But the parties proved to be fun for everyone, and inexpensive for the hosts, a luxury enjoyed by all.Â
The parties all looked the same: Joyce would leave up her limited Christmas decor and would buy a couple litres of soda for the kids, and a couple bottles of cheap sparkling wine for the adults. The respected mothers of Hawkins-Karen Wheeler, Claudia Henderson, and Ella Sinclair-would bring a dish to pass and the group would all chip in to order takeout, usually pizza or fried chicken, alongside leftover pie or Joyceâs homemade turkey soup if someone was feeling picky. Karen would make enough appetizers to feed a small army, Ella would bring her famous sweet potato pie and usually a box or two of expensive chocolates, gifts from the parents of her elementary school students in Carmel, and Claudia would bake every family a batch of their favourite cookies to take home, and to keep the younger children quiet while the older ones would play together and the adults talked. The group did a holiday white elephant,in part so that the kids could give to their friends, and in part so that their parents could save a bit of money. It was another well loved tradition, which provided a myriad of terrible gifts that were appreciated only so long as the giver was looking. Everyone would stay till the ball dropped, with the kids fighting to stay awake most years, and at least two always passing out on the couch before midnight. It was a nice, easy way to spend the holidays, and it ensured that all of the mothers knew exactly where their children, and husbands, were for the holiday.

Steve wasnât one hundred percent sure when he started to have feelings for Y/n, but they had developed so suddenly that he didnât even notice until they hit him right in the face. Literally. It was gym class and she had accidentally sent the volleyball right into his face when she spiked it. He remembered her running to his teamâs side, apologies spilling from her lips. He had been in so much pain that he could have sworn his nose was broken, but when he opened his eyes to see herâs staring directly into his - his pain suddenly disappeared as the world seemed to slow down. Of course, that only lasted until he heard her freaking out about blood and then he started to freak out because he had a steady stream of blood flowing from his nose.Â
From that moment, he realized that he was completely captivated by her. He had made the mistake of bringing her up to the kids which lead to them telling him that they already knew he liked her. Well, duh, Steve! Lucas had rolled his eyes. Yeah, we figured it out the second time you suggested we go to the Arcade. Max had backed Lucas up. He had been going to the arcade a lot more once he found out that she worked there. He had thought she was insanely cute when she just gave blank stares at kids who asked where a certain game was because she couldnât remember the names for the life of her.Â
