PSA: F’ Tumblr

So, multiple of my tumblrs were marked explicit when they weren’t. I contested them. They turned them back on. Then the dumbasses after turning them back on, marked them explicit AGAIN. Even though I didn’t post anything new. So, I’m really done with Tumblr. I made a twitter account for now unless I find something better. I deleted all my other accounts. Leaving this one active just in case someone I know wants to post something they need me to see here, but I won’t be using this platform anymore. 

If you guys have twitter accounts please DM them to me or something. I tried scrolling through to find anyone posting that info and will try to add them myself but it is kinda hard to find that info for everyone.

Too hot for Tumblr

So apparently a bunch of my old archived blogs got nuked for being too hot for tumblr. You know.. like Ikara. I suppose a tiny gecko who blows things up and is a completely non-sexual character at all is just too much for tumblr's sensitivities. *rolls eyes* Anyone still around that knows a good place to rehome my blogs? cause I'm kinda done with Tumblrs crap. All of this cause Tumblr got scared of not being on the Apple store.

Character Voice: Soren Gilmar

So, while Soren doesn’t sing, I think Brendon Urie’s speaking voice is pretty darn close. He hits those higher pitches when excited and being playful and silly. Pissed off Soren speaks a bit deeper and more crisply, but its hard to capture that in a VC... soo this is as close as I get.

Just one night...

Soren Gilmar subconsciously reached up to wipe away Aurorah’s tears, rubbing the crimson off his hand on his shorts before he reached up and started petting her head, trying to soothe her. He replied back to give Vel the directions needed to get to the house, and told her which room they were in. He could hear the wind and the crackle as she prepared to leave and refocused on Aurorah, letting the line cut unless she needed anything else. Leaning close to Aurorah he spoke quietly, “Vel is comin’… its gonna be alrigh’… I’m sure sh’ can figure it out… Sh’s one o’ th’ best alchemists in th’ whole world. Her family is e'en famous fer it… I’m sure sh’ can figure it out…” His breath shuddered as he drew it in, but the next words came out clearly, “I’m sorry… I should have known it was a trap. We’ll make it alright. I’m so.. soooo sorry Aurorah. I never meant for you to hurt.”

 Aurorah Peace smiled weakly up to him as she shuddered a little more. The current was starting to build up again but not as quickly. “It’s okay. I forgive you.” More breath than voice but loud enough to be heard. “You did what you could. She…she can take care of you …too.”

Aeri quirked a brow at Yuti and then smiled warmly, "Thanks Yuti, I do think I can. Perhaps not in a way most feel is right, but sometimes people like me exist to make sure people like you don't become like me. Rath helped me see that a while back... I can still be myself and make the world a better place. Never thought I would do anything except wait to watch the world burn, but the Twelve work in interesting ways."

Prompt#12 Accolade: Tyranie Tiberiah

Tyranie came out of the backroom of the guild only to be greeted by one of her guildmates waving a package at her, “Oi! Tyr!!! Ya got something! Better come get it or I’m gonna claim it!” Tyr rolled her eyes and jogged over to him, punching him playfully in the arm, “Give it here. Get your grubby mitts off of whatever it is.” 

The package was tossed to her with surprising control and gentleness for how large and strong the man was and she caught it looking it over, “Who the heck wants to send me a package anyways?” The package had a bit of heft to it, but the only thing marked on the return label was ‘Ala Ghanna’. She quirked an eyebrow wondering who could have sent her something. Probably one of the people she had made friends with out there. “Ain’t ya gonna open it?”  Tyr rolled her eyes, “Curiosity is cute when its a Miqo thing...  you’re just nosy.” Still she opened up the package and drew a soft breath. 

Inside was a hand drawn certificate, done in bright colors. “This Award is for Miss Tyranie for being the Best Teacher in Ul’dah and Ala Mhigo” It was signed by all the kids she had been teaching. Along with the certificate was a trophy the kids had all made together. She could tell which kids had worked at which parts. They had used scraps around the city to put it together. It wasn’t the prettiest thing, but the Miqo’s eyes started to mist up. Her guild mate grinned at the contents, “Well... I’ll be damned. Looks like ya got yourself some fans, Tyr. Ya know, I kinda miss all them kids running around here. Livened up the place.”

Tyr gave him a smile and nodded, “Yea... I miss them too. Better go put this in a special place.” She went back to the small barracks they had there. It wasn’t much, but it was where she kept all her things and slept most of the time. She had a small shelf next to her bed where she kept her trophies. Lots of awards for fights on the Bloodsands, but these were special. She pushed the other trophies out of the way and put the new one in the front, right in the center. Then she went to find something to hang up the certificate award they had made her. Once they were hung up she flopped down on the bed with some paper and a quill to write them back. Everyday she was in Ul’dah made her miss the kids she had been teaching, but she had a new class to teach here. Plus, those kids had plenty of teachers in Ala Mhigo. It was time for them to spread their wings and start new lives. She took the time to write a personal letter to each one of them, not noticing how many bells went by. By the time she was done it was already time to hit the hay. She would send them out in the morning, first thing. For now it was time to sleep.
