A/N: This was requested a lifetime ago and I apologize for taking so long to finish it as it was sitting in my drafts for a looonnngg time before I got around to finishing it. These were similar so I decided to combine them. Hope you don’t mind! Also, I’m rusty as fuck so I apologize for how shitty this is. Keep dreaming!~Logan
The feel of the bass thrumming through my bones made me feel alive with adrenaline. It wasn’t often that I got to go to a party but the times I did, I savored every second of it.
“You came!” I heard f/n’s shout over the loud music as I entered the kitchen to get a beer.
“Duh! I wouldn’t miss it for the world!” I replied, taking the bottle she handed me, the cold beverage cooling down my skin.
The house was already hot with the amount of people that were crammed into it. People spilled out into the backyard where the pool was being put to good use.
“You ready to let loose?” She asked, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
“After this week? Hell yeah!” I shouted, throwing my head back to let the liquor slide down my throat.
F/n laughed and sipped on her own beer. When I tilted my head back down again, I wasn’t prepared for the sight in front of me.
“You–You invited him?” I gasped, not taking my eyes off c/n who was standing just outside on the porch, shirtless and wearing a pair of black trunks.
“Of course, he’s my friend, too. Besides, I thought it’d be a great opportunity for you both to stop being such idiots and realize you’re meant for each other.”
I looked at her finally, eyes wide with terror. “You asshole! I can’t let loose now, not when Mr. Shirtless is sauntering around in all his bare skinned glory!”
F/n rolled her eyes, shaking her head at me. “Don’t be so dramatic and go take a chance!” She shouted, shoving me towards the backyard.
I stumbled unsteadily out onto the porch, eyes glued to the wide expanse of beautiful, bare skin that was facing me as c/n had turned his back to the house and was running towards the pool.
His back muscles bunched as he formed a ball before he was plunging into the water, making a huge splash.
“Yeah, baby,” he hooted, flipping his drenched hair from his eyes, smile enormous on his face.
Just as I was about to call out to c/n some one called my name. I turned my head to see o/g/n sauntering towards me, smiling wolfishly.
“S’up, y/n? Didn’t expect to see you here,” he chuckled.
“And why’s that?” I challenged, raising my eyebrow.
“Don’t know. You don’t seem like the partying type,” he smirked at me.
“Really? I’ll have you know I like a good party just as much as the next person. I just realize that if I want to actually get somewhere in life I can’t always be drinking a shit load of beer and wasting precious study time at people’s house parties,” I countered.
“Oh, I see,” o/g/n laughed.
And ok, it wasn’t like I had planned to make my tone flirtatious, but that’s how it ended up coming out of my mouth. O/g/n wasn’t unattractive in the least bit so what was the harm in flirting a little, even if he wasn’t the object of my affections. It’s not like c/n gave a shit.
And just as o/g/n moved closer to me, eyes flicking to my lips and back to my eyes, my eyes caught the glorious sight that was c/n pulling himself out of the water, trunks hanging low on his hips. I tried to focus back on o/g/n but my gaze kept flicking back to c/n. My pulse sped up as soon as I realized he was stalking towards me, a look I’d never seen in his eyes directed towards me. It made me shiver. Before I could calm myself down, he was standing right in front of me and o/g/n, hands on his hips.
“You guys not get the memo? This is a pool party!” c/n quirked an eyebrow, eyes not leaving mine, sweeping over my tank top and shorts clad body.
“Not all of us wanna swim, man,” o/g/n muttered, and I caught the irritation in his tone.
“What about you, y/n, you wanna swim,” c/n grinned. His eyes sparkled with mischief, making my stomach flip.
He stepped closer to me, crouching slightly to get even more into my space. I bit my lip, trying to keep my eyes trained on his and not on the water droplets that raced down his chest.
“I didn’t come dressed for swimming so,” I trailed off, losing my breath as c/n took my hand and started leading me forward as he walked backward.
“That doesn’t sound like a no to me,” he muttered, voice pitching low.
“It wasn’t a yes either, oh my god, don’t you dare, c/n!” I cried, giggling slightly, eyes widening as I realized he was walking us toward the edge of the pool.
“Hmm, what? Sorry, I couldn’t hear you, y/n,” c/n smirked.
I turned to try and run from him, squealing as he grabbed me and pressed my back flush against his damp, bare chest, firm arms wrapping around my torso.
“Somebody’s gonna get wet,” c/n murmured into my ear.
And that was the last thing he said before he twirled us around and pushed me, squealing and fully clothed, into the water.
When I surfaced, sputtering and fake-angry, I glared at c/n.
“Help me out, you dick,” I demanded, reaching my hand out.
C/n was trying to stifle his laughter as he reached a large hand down. I gave him a fake sweet smile as I wrapped my hand around his, right before pulling him with more force I thought I had into the pool beside me.
I leaned against the side of the pool, laughter wracking my body as c/n’s shocked face came into view once he resurfaced, hands frantically pushing water from his eyes.
“Sneaky,” c/n chuckled once he’d recovered, body invading my personal space.
“You underestimate my powers,” I smirked.
C/n snorted. “Sneaky and a dork.”
“I’m an expert at being both, thank you very much,” I pointed my chin up in mock superiority,
“Ahh, really? Is being a flirt included among those, too?” C/n asked, lips quirking, eyes gazing into mine, space between our chests diminishing.
Eyes widening in mock innocence, I replied, “Not at all, what would give you such an idea?”
His finger pushed back a strand of wet hair clinging to my cheek behind my ear.
“Seemed you knew how to get o/g/n’s attention back there pretty easily. Wrapped him right around your finger. You gonna do the same to me, y/n?” C/n breathed hot and warm right over my neck before pressing a light kiss to the damp skin.
“Maybe I will,” I gasped.
C/n pulled away from my neck, hooded eyes lingering on my lips before asking, “Yeah? Gonna play with my heart?”
My breath came out in a stutter as c/n’s large palm slid to the nape of my neck and drew our lips together. He let out a small moan, hand tangling into my wet, knotted hair.
His lips tasted like chlorine, salt, and beer, but there was an underlying sweetness, probably from one of the treats f/n had set out. My hands clutched at his toned shoulders, pulling him closer, his chest pushing me back against the wall of the pool.
“You were jealous,” I gasped out as c/n pulled away to look at me.
“O/g/n doesn’t deserve you,” c/n growled, hands moving to the backs of my knees underwater.
He pulled my legs up and I took the cue to latch them around his hips, water supporting my weight.
I giggled quietly, “Oh, and you do?”
“Fuck, I want to,” c/n replied before his lips were back on mine.
C/n let out a moan this time, hips involuntarily stuttering forward against my core, the friction feeling heavenly. I slid my tongue into the heat of his mouth, licking at his tongue, selfishly tasting and savoring. He met my efforts with fervor, tongue sliding against mine, teeth nipping at my bottom lip, labored breaths puffing through his nose, not wanting to stop the kiss just to take a breath.
“Get it!” I heard f/n’s voice from somewhere nearby.
I pulled back from the kiss to smirk at her. She raised her beer bottle in my direction as a cheers before taking another sip.
“Being kind of a cockblock isn’t she?” c/n murmured into my ear before flicking his tongue over my neck.
I burst out laughing and c/n chuckled into my neck, breath curling over my skin, making me shiver. I rotated my hips in a circle, making c/n release a choked gasp.
“I don’t know, doesn’t seem like you’re getting very discouraged down there to me,” I smirked.
“Fuck, y/n, you’re cruel.”
“No, what’s cruel is you in those swim trucks.”
“I propose we get out of here,” c/n rushed out, arms wrapping around my back.
“I agree with that proposition.”
