Móði and Magni
In Norse mythology, Móði (Old Norse: [ˈmoːðe]; anglicized Módi or Mothi) and Magni ([ˈmɑɣne]) are the sons of Thor. Their names translate as "Wrath" and "Strength", respectively. Rudolf Simek states that, along with Thor's daughter Þrúðr ("Power"), they embody their father's features.
Móði and Magni's children from Thor is attested by the kennings "Móði's father" (faðir Móða, in Hymiskviða, 34) and "Magni's father" (faðir Magna, in Þórsdrápa and Hárbarðsljóð, 53). Snorri Sturluson confirms it (Gylfaginning, 53, Skáldskaparmál, 4). According to Skáldskaparmál (17) Magni is the son of Thor and the jötunn Járnsaxa and Móði is the son of Thor and an unnamed female jötunn (possibly Járnsaxa).
Lesbian Visibility Week
Lesbian Visibility Week (related to Lesbian Visibility Day) is an annual observance in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries dedicated to increasing the awareness of lesbian women and their issues. It was originally celebrated in July in 1990 in California, and more recently in April, around the Lesbian Visibility Day, which is celebrated on April 26. It has been celebrated in England and Wales.
Argonaut Rowing Club
The Argonaut Rowing Club is an amateur rowing club in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The club was founded in 1872. The current junior head coach is Connor Elsdon. In the past, the club fielded teams in ice hockey and football, and the football team continues today as the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League, who are also the oldest professional sports team in North America to still use their original name.
Candy Kitchen (Bridgehampton, New York)
Candy Kitchen is a historic luncheonette in Bridgehampton, New York. It opened on May 2, 1925, and has operated continuously as a neighborhood restaurant known for counter service, house-made ice cream, and a prominent neon sign on Montauk Highway.
Candy Kitchen opened in 1925 as an ice-cream parlor and luncheonette established by Greek immigrant George Stavropoulos. The Laggis family purchased the business in 1981 and continues to operate it with much of the original menu and interior intact.[2] The building is a two-story corner storefront with its original recessed entrance, terrazzo floor, and classic soda-fountain elements including booth and counter seating. They also retained long-standing practices such as operating on a cash-only basis and continuing in-house ice cream production.
Elizabeth Stack
Elizabeth (Eliza) Rachel Jean Stack (née Jones; 19 February 1829 – 2 December 1919) was a New Zealand settler, author and botanist.
Stack was born in Anglesey, Wales in 1829. She was the daughter of Humphrey Jones, the Controller of Customs at Holyhead. The youngest of nine, Stack was fourteen when she was orphaned, and went to live with relatives, variously in Edinburgh, Stockwell, and Barnstable. In 1856 Stack's brother Humphrey Jones, an Assistant Commissary-General, returned to England from the Crimean War. He was then ordered to New Zealand, and having recently been widowed, invited his sister to join him.
Jones and Stack travelled with a maid to New Zealand in 1857 aboard the Dinapore, a journey Stack describes as "long and tedious and not marked by any striking incidents". Stack enjoyed the musical talents of Andrew Buchanan's daughters, which helped to while away the four-month journey.
Ford Maverick (2022)
The Ford Maverick is a four-door, compact pickup truck manufactured and marketed by the Ford Motor Company. Ford unveiled the Maverick on June 8, 2021, as its smallest truck, below the mid-size Ford Ranger.
Using a front-wheel drive-based unibody platform shared with the Ford Escape and Bronco Sport, the pickup's power train offerings include a gasoline hybrid engine or a turbocharged gasoline engine, both available in all-wheel drive (starting with the 2025 model year). The truck is exclusively offered in a 4-door crew cab configuration with a short bed.
The Maverick went on sale in late 2021 for the 2022 model year. The truck saw strong demand from consumers, with Ford unable to fulfill all orders it received for the 2022 model year, and only accepting orders for the 2023 model year for one week. The truck has been successful in attracting new customers, with Ford reporting that nearly 60% of Maverick buyers are new to the brand.
Demand remains strong through mid 2025, with 48,041 trucks sold during the second quarter alone, an increase of 26.3% year over year. In contrast, sales of its primary competitor, the Hyundai Santa Cruz, dropped by 21%.
Legend Quest (2017 TV series)
Legend Quest (released in Latin America as Las Leyendas) is a Mexican animated fantasy comedy-horror television series created for Netflix produced by Ánima Estudios. It is based on the characters created by Mexican animator Ricardo Arnaiz, and is part of the Leyendas animated franchise. This is the streaming network's first original animated series produced in Latin America.

Rubidium pertechnetate crystallizes in the tetragonal crystal system, with space group I41/a, and lattice parameters a = 576.2 pm and c = 1354.3 pm. In its structure, the Tc–O bond length is 172.3 pm, O–Tc–O bond angle is 108.34°.
Statue of Wanda Tazbir
The statue of Wanda Tazbir (Polish: Pomnik Wandy Tazbir) is a bronze statue in Warsaw, Poland, placed in front of the Institute for the Deaf at 4/6 Three Crosses Square in the South Downtown neighbourhood. It is dedicated to Wanda Tazbir (1920–2006), a teacher of the Institute for the Deaf, instructor of the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association, and a participant of the Warsaw Uprising during the Second World War, and later a soldier of the Royal Air Force. It was unveiled on 21 October 2007, on the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Institute for the Deaf.

Optimize was an American monthly business magazine published between November 2001 and June 2007.
Optimize was established in November 2001. Brian Gillooly was the founder and also, served as the editor-in-chief of the magazine which was headquartered in Manhasset, New York. The magazine was part of CMP Media LLC.
Its peer-based business leadership content for CIOs was incorporated into the pages of InformationWeek. Optimize was a magazine of which intended reader was a corporate officer; according to BPA International (as cited in "Media Kit 2004" listed in the "References" section), seventy per cent of the readers were chief information officers, chief technology officers, or vice presidents of information systems, while the remaining thirty per cent were "technology-involved" corporate officers.
Heliometer
A heliometer (from Greek ἥλιος 'sun' and 'measure') is an instrument originally developed from the mid-eighteenth to early nineteenth centuries for measuring the variation of the Sun's diameter at different seasons of the year, but the modern version of the instrument is capable of much wider use.
The basic concept is to introduce a split element into a telescope's optical path so as to produce a double image. If one element is moved using a screw micrometer, precise angle measurements can be made. The simplest arrangement is to split the object lens in half, with one half fixed and the other attached to the micrometer screw and slid along the cut diameter. To measure the diameter of the Sun, for example, the micrometer is first adjusted so that the two images of the solar disk coincide (the "zero" position where the split elements form essentially a single element). The micrometer is then adjusted so that diametrically opposite sides of the two images of the solar disk just touch each other. The difference in the two micrometer readings so obtained is the (angular) diameter of the Sun. Similarly, a precise measurement of the apparent separation between two nearby stars, A and B, is made by first superimposing the two images of the stars and then adjusting the double image so that star A in one image coincides with star B in the other. The difference in the two micrometer readings so obtained is the apparent separation or angular distance between the two stars.
Großer Eyberg
The Großer Eyberg is a 513-metre-high (1,683 ft) hill in the southern Palatine Forest in Germany. It lies in the county of Südwestpfalz in the borough of Dahn in an area known as the Dahner Felsenland, a part of the Wasgau. This region which comprises the southern part of the Palatine Forest and the northern part of the Vosges Mountains. It is the highest hill in the western Wasgau.
At the summit of the Eyberg is an 18-metre-high, observation tower, of steel lattice construction, built between 1945 and 1949 by the French Army. The tower can only be accessed over unmetalled hiking trails.
Heeria argentea
Heeria is a monotypic genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Anacardiaceae. The only species is Heeria argentea.
It is native to the Cape Provinces of South Africa. The genus name of Heeria is in honour of Oswald Heer (1809–1883), a Swiss geologist and naturalist. The Latin specific epithet of argentea refers to silvery.
Fruits of Heeria argentea are dispersed by Micaelamys namaquensis, the Namaqua rock rat, to rock outcrops where the seeds germinate and enjoy relative protection from fire.
Hydroxytyrosol
Hydroxytyrosol is an organic compound with the formula (HO)2C6H3CH2CH2OH. It is a phenylethanoid, i.e. a relative of phenethyl alcohol. Its derivatives are found in a variety of natural sources, notably olive oils and wines. Hydroxytyrosol is a colorless solid, although samples often turn beige during storage. It is a derivative, formally speaking, of catechol.
