Claire’s parents are Elizabeth Bishop (née Nott) and Christopher Bishop. Elizabeth died shortly after Claire turned six, in a drunk driving accident. Christopher remarried Joanna Bishop (née Moore) a few years later. Christoper and Joanna divorce not long after the police give up looking for Claire and Christopher never remarries as far as Claire knows.
4. DO YOU HAVE ANY SIBLINGS? WHAT ARE/WERE THEY LIKE?
Claire’s older brother, Marc, is currently 38, with a wife and three daughters, still living in their home town and helping their dad run the family farm. She loved her older brother and looked up to him. He was the rock that Claire needed when her mom died and he took care of her the way their dad couldn’t. He’s kind and in the 20 years that Claire knew him, he never raised his voice to anyone. He was persuasive and could get people to see his side of things in arguments, which helped a lot when Claire and her dad had disagreements. Marc mourned Claire’s death when the police finally stopped looking for her.
Claire’s step-brother, Chase, is 33 and currently doing a second tour overseas. He was shy when his mother and him first joined their little family, but they quickly became inseparable. Although Chase was older, Claire bossed him around and was always the master mind behind their little schemes, while Chase followed along and tried to make sure neither of them got caught. Chase joined the military around the same time Claire went to University, and was overseas when she went missing. When he finally came home, everyone else had given up hope that Claire was alive, except him.
Claire’s half-sister, Jamie, is almost 12 years younger than her and was only 8 years old when Claire went missing. She didn’t really understand what was going on and the rest of the family didn’t want to reopen old wounds when she finally got old enough to understand, so Jamie just assumes that Claire lives somewhere far away like Sterling City.

Claire lives in the Slave House with James Walsh and Lilian Walker.
6. WHAT IS YOUR OCCUPATION?
Claire is a little more than average height at 5 feet, 6 inches and weighs around 128 lbs. She has long, curly, blonde hair that cascades almost completely down her back and blue eyes. Her skin is lightly tanned from days spent out in the sun instead of cooped up in the House, and a small brand on her right shoulder blade from the second time she became a slave in Sterling City. She’s most comfortable in shorts and tank tops with sensible shoes, however, trainers tend to request that she’s in clothes that she’s less comfortable in and that show off her attributes. Her nose and ears are pierced with small studs and her wrist are decorated with red bands and silver locks.

Currently, lower class thanks to her Slave status, but before she was a slave, Claire belonged to the upper middle class.

Claire has a very slight southern accent. Her voice is a little raspy and rough. If she isn’t shouting profanities, her voice is normally a little deep--not masculine, but not high pitched and girly either.
