I haven't been on this account for a while, maybe not three years. But the time since I met dan and Phil has been. It was the best day of my life and now looking back I'm not so sure why. It started a week prior, I begged and begged my dad to buy me a ticket to their book signing in WHSMITHS and it worked! Me Jess phoebe dani and Ellie made a group chat on whatsapp and thought it would be a brilliant idea to blog every single day up until that day. (I know this was in 2015 leave us alone) and then send the videos into the group chat. I remember all of us saying "this is so surreal, wow is this actually going to happen!!??) All week we were binge watching old videos and squealing with excitment. It came to Friday and the very next day we would be meeting dan and Phil. We arranged it all to a T. I was going with dani, phoebe and Jess were taking the bus, and Ellie was getting a lift. I remember talking to my friend Morgan in the very last lesson of the day which was drama, she was going too and we were talking about how exited we were. Someone called mollie in my school whom I would befriend later on in life also attended the book signing. The night before none of us could sleep, if thought it would be a great idea to draw cat whiskers on my £30 H&M bag in permenant marker. The next morning I get dressed and walk over to danis, we put our cat whiskers on and off we went. We got there super early so we were in the front que while Jess and phoebe were in the second que, about an hour later Dan and Phil waltz out the door. Dan stands on the bench and "HELLO [place I live]" I CRIED SO MUCH AND I WAS IN HYSTERICS. They left and the panic was over. Another hour passed by and we were ready to go in. Boy was I SHAKING. We made our way up the stairs and into the meeting place. When it got to me well,I cried all the way said "oh my god I love you so much I'm so sorry" I asked Phil if I could shake his hand and Jesus his hand was so cold!! They signed my book so fast and I was like ohmygosjwhat. I made direct eye contact with dan and he looked so sad because I was crying so much. I only got to see them for a split second but it was so important.Most of the words I spluttered out were inaudiable but they've probably had fans faint. (Fun fact a girl did actually faint that day she met them after me and my friends left) after this whimsical experience I went home with my friend dani and her mum on the bus. After a concert, meet n greet, book signing you begin to develop this feeling. It's a sad feeling. You know that there's a small chance of ever seeing/meeting them again and that's the worst part of meeting people you idolise and bring into your life. I no longer idolise dan and Phil like I used to. In three years everything has changed.

Everytime me and my friend mollie walk past the bench dan once stood upon. Without a doubt no matter who we are with we will always stand on that bench and scream, "HELLO [PLACE I LIVE]"
