What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I took over top ranking territory from other gangs, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on Midas, and I have over 300 confirmed steals. I am trained in gang related warfare and I’m the top biker in the entirety of Amoi. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Planet, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of spies across the city and your apartment is being located right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of Blondies and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.
It would get really awkward as the other person had looked surprise. If it wasn’t for her, she may don’t know how to react to the other one. “Excuse me..” She began awkwardly. “Like I said, I want to know if there are any red flashes or pickled plums on sale on this market.”
Of course it was a girl. This was a different world, after all so why not a girl? A girl.. Riki had no real experience interacting with girls, and this one looked pretty young. He cleared his throat and glanced around, jabbing one of his thumbs towards a rather high shelf on the other side of the room where several jars of plums sat stacked against one another. "There."
The mongrel had been out at a local market, just browsing when he heard the female speak. Darkly colored eyes blinked as he glanced towards the voice before looking downwards, having not expected to see such a young.. girl? He stared, a look of surprise written across his tan features.
"What do you mean by ‘what are we supposed to do?’"
Riki just asked the question Tormod had been avoiding all day. What was he supposed to do now that he was here? It was pretty clear that Koi wasn’t some kind of designated afterlife. Did that mean that he’d have to start all over? To be honest, he didn’t know if he liked that idea or not. He was a mercenary; he didn’t have many skills besides the ones he learned on the battlefield, and the basics he needed to survive. Making a new life for himself… that’s what he had to do, right?
"We’ll just live one day at a time until we figure something out. We should find work for ourselves sometime soon, I suppose." He scratched his chin, wondering if the library nearby was hiring. The city was generous enough to give them a place to live, but everything always came back to money in the end. It was probably no different here. "Do you have anything in mind that you want to do?"
'It's exactly what it sounds like." He stepped over a few game pieces and dropped down into a chair as if he owned the place by himself, both arms propped up on either side of him and one leg hanging over the other. He shifted his weight onto one arm and reached back, ruffling his own hair before taking another long drag from the cigarette and putting it out on a conveniently placed ash tray.
He thought on the words that came from the red haired man for a moment, but wasn't to help pondering his hair color. He had really only seen one other person with red hair in his entire life. Riki stared at the sorcerer as he continued to think, wondering how much more different this planet was compared to his own.
Tormod for the most part ignored the strangers stare, choosing to walk inside rather than waste energy getting nervous. Judging by the fact that Riki didn’t tense up when he saw him and seemed relaxed in the room, he most likely wasn’t a threat. He closed the door behind him, glad that the other male opened the window. Smoke was something Tormod was used to tolerating, but even he could be bothered by a room full of it.
He gave the space a quick one-over doing his best to figure out the functions of each section of the flat. From what he could tell, there were two bedrooms. The furniture seemed odd to the boy, but took a seat in the nearest chair anyway. “Some people downstairs told me I was supposed to be living here. I’m guessing you live here too, so that would make us roommates.
"Since we’re going to be living together, I should introduce myself properly. I’m Tormod, a mage from the Greil Mercenaries. I’m new to this city."
They were on the same page about how odd the room was, Riki could tell. A slight look of confusion crossed his eyes at the mention of the other male being a mage. Sure he had heard of mercenaries that had existed once, but magic? That was just straight up ridiculous. The raven haired man wasn't going to judge for now, however, since they were just getting to know each other. A small hum of interested escape his lips before he put the cigarette back to his lips for another drag. If Tormod was new here, then that meant they had both just arrived, which meant the city was still completely foreign to both of them.. great.
Riki turned to the window and stared out at the city, noting how bright and cheery everything looked. It was a huge difference from the slums. "So we live here now... What are we supposed to do?" He questioned suddenly.
Though it was still far from night, it already felt like a long day to the mage. Since waking up in what he could only assume was a different world entirely from his own, he had only experienced confusion and fatigue. He was mostly over his disorientation now, but feeling sick and lost made it hard to navigate the streets of the strange city. Tormod was glad that the people here were so friendly despite how odd he must have seemed to them. To be honest though, their clothing baffled him more than the other way around.
Tormod continued climbing up the stairs. A passerby was nice enough to inform him that he was going to be housed in a placed called “Chai Condos” and even helped him with the directions. The stairs, though, they seemed to never end. Why would someone build a tower this high? Someone mentioned an “elevator” but he had no idea what that could be.
Hair clung to his face despite his headband and his legs burned, but he eventually reached his floor. Large numbers hung above the doors made his assigned living space easy to find, but an odd scent invaded his senses as he opened the door. Smoke, it was something he was familiar with, but this was smoke from tobacco. Someone was already inside. He knew no one that smoked, but just maybe…
A surge of excitement suddenly filled the fiery-haired youth. Tormod pushed the door all the way open to find… a complete stranger. His face fell. He was expecting—no he was hoping—to find his companions inside, but considering the circumstances… that was too unlikely, and probably for the best.
Lost in his own thoughts, Riki almost didn't register that a complete stranger had walked through the doors. He glanced up, allowing the cigarette to dangle between his fingers before standing. "And you? who are you?"
He took a few steps over to the window and pulled it open so that the smoke would filter out a little before looking back to the strange young man. "I'm Riki." He leaned against the wall to the window for a moment, eying Tormod. The other male was wearing such strange clothes, not that there was anything wrong with that. People had different preferences after all.
Riki didn't take his eyes from Tormod, wanting to keep a close eye on him. There was no telling what a stranger was capable of, and even though Riki was strong, strength meant nothing if you didn't know what your opponent was capable of so it was best to keep a close eye on them. Onyx colored eyes trailed up and down Tormod as Riki sized him up. He figured in a match of strength he would be able to take the boy, but he was getting ahead of himself. The boy didn't look like he was there for a fight, anyway. Riki stood up straight suddenly, curious about something. "Are you moving into this place too?"
What a long day it had been. To be kicked out of one place and then shoved to a completely foreign location all for the sake of one person. It had been a lot of unnecessary trouble, but Riki knew if he had stayed then there would be even more trouble, and not just for him.
Riki dropped what had to have been his 12th cigarette in two hours to the clean side walk and stepped on it, eyeing the tall complex before him. This place.. it was literally sparkling. It was one of those fancy buildings that acted like high class apartments. Riki knew how those were, and he disliked it already. Filled to the brim with the rich and powerful that scoffed at the mere sight of those who were lower class. At least, that was what he had been expecting before he unlocked the door to his room and stared at the game themed decor.
This was not one of those super posh condos apparently.
And that was okay, but what the fuck was all of this?
Riki lowered the bag that had been hanging over one shoulder and glanced around the entry way, stepping over a few game pieces that had been set out as he examined the condo. Fully furnished, complete with utilities.. Riki walked down the nearest hall and into the largest room he found, grimacing a little at the bright colors. It seemed to have some sort of game theme going on, but as he was accustomed to board games he wasn't sure.
Setting the bag down on the bed, Riki took a seat and leaned over, lighting up another cigarette and putting it to his lips. This was going to take some getting used to.
Im gona MAKE AN INTRODUCTION TOO.. 'Cause Zaya is... and I don't know anyone.
Umm.. Hello, my name is Claire! I rp (starting today at least) Riki and Soldier Blue. I've been role playing Blue for about.. a full year and Riki for about three?
I love them both since they're so diverse in character, but Blue will always be my favorite so feel free to drop by and I would love to try and come up with a plot!
It's been a while since I've been in a group though, and I'm kind of really nervous around people I don't know.. especially nervous when trying to rp so please be patient if I happen to not respond. ;A;
