As always, @kristiebihn fantabulous job! I am with you on all of this, and I love the Full House comparison…. really perfect. I want to see her fail more as well. I totally went back to Tamerlane on Friday when we had the viewing at Paley…..and then again on Sunday as I was watching it live. As for Jason- I would have not been able to feel my face if I would have talked back like that to my parents- yeah it happened once, and that was all it took….. I just hope this is not what is in store for me in about 3 years when I have a teenage boy–keep the rum and tequila flowing if so, otherwise I may not survive! Can’t wait for next weeks episode and review!!!!

I see a straight line from the announcement of Sarah Palin as the vice-presidential nominee to what we see today in Donald Trump, the emergence of the Freedom Caucus, the tea party, and the shift in the center of gravity for the Republican Party. Whether that changes, I think, will depend in part on the outcome of this election, but it’s also going to depend on the degree of self-reflection inside the Republican Party. There have been at least a couple of other times that I’ve said confidently that the fever is going to have to break, but it just seems to get worse.
