Boys Republic were compared to BTS because despite debuting in the same year, they didn’t achieve BTS’s popularity. 24K debuted in 2012, they lost one member, added three, lost one, added two, lost two, added two again.
I’m sick of these bands hurting. I’m sick of them working their asses off and nothing being paid off. I’m sick of good people, amazing people, people that adore and are completely in love with their fans, people that never disappointed me, their fans, getting the short end of the stick.
I’m sick of this, of the tired and broken looks on Cory’s and Kisu’s faces. Of the disappointed ones on Jeonguk’s and Jinhong’s. Of the laughing on Hongseob’s and Changsun’s knowing they’re still kids that have to work and breathe in this industry. Jeonguk had to fucking ask his parents for money to ride the subway.
I’m sick of this, of Sungjun getting so worried they might lose fans he begged us to stay with them, to support them, thanked us all that are still with them. Of them crying because a stupid show decided to split them. Of their make-up trying to make them look happy and good when they’re exhausted.
I’m sick of these talented groups having to go on survival shows after all they went through. I’m sick of these survival shows trying to get ratings and money over my love’s tears and sleepless nights and worries. I’m sick.
