In most unloveable, Love met me.
This season, I learned about Love the hard way. not that it was not familiar for me. but I never thought that Love is as complex as Iâm experiencing it this season. Before that, the love Iâm referring here isnât about a sexual affection between a man and a woman, but a heart that genuinely (not just thinks but also) does the best to people with the highest form of appreciation and genuine affection. Some days, love is an easy thing to do. But letâs get honest that some days, love is such a difficult thing. I learned that when we are not fully filled by love, we are unable to fully express love too towards others. Which means, love is expressed outside when love is experienced inside. But what if youâre in a situation that does not serve love to you but require you to express love even when thorns are what you receive. I never thought I will ever reflect on this as hard as Iâm learning about it this season, on how does it feel like to keep loving at the most unloveable moments. It is easy for people to say âstay away from toxic relationshipâ or pretty quotes like âstay close to people who feel like sunshineâ but what if the relationship or the people that bring thorns in you are the closest people in your life? at these times, loving is difficult. This is what Iâm dealing about this season, and it took quite a while for me to step out from this dark zone. It was hard but at these hard times, Love found me. When worldly love fails, Godâs love met me. He met me. when I thought I failed to express love. He loved me. when I thought I was too far to reach Him as I failed, He met me. here. :â) And still He spoke to me, âIn the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.â Romans 8:26 âNeither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.â Romans 8:39 âLove is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no records of wrongs.â 1 Corinthians 13:5 He gently helped me, loved me, and reminded me.. again. And this.. is exactly what does it mean to be able to stand up again because of His strength, and not of ours. âIn most unloveable, Love met meâ July 9, 2019.
