laughing at how certain shippers have to make brotherly bantering into “omg he was upset that he hurt him” what a load of complete bs
all the “the spn writers will always surprise us at the finale and everything that we complain about during the season will be like - OMG NOW I GET IT!!!” and I’m like
I’m never going to get claire novak and her stupid teen angst
unless the message was “claire novak is frickin’ annoying and pointless” in which case their message is right but pointless like
no there is no way to explain claire novak and no way to invalidate how much I despise what they made her into in s10
I’m obviously not the first to say this and I probably won’t be the last, but 10.13 (imo) was a major let down.
They talked about getting back to the “classic” Supernatural. But classic Supernatural is more than a monster-of-the-week deal. It was eeriness, the suspense, the intense show downs, the shadow lighting, sitting in diner’s and reading up on legends and lore.

ahillmadeof42dogs replied to your post: “I’m done with tension I want full-out arguing (and full-out making up)...”:
i assume youre talking about samndean? if you are, my question is do you really feel tension? i personally see a lame attempt at creating tension. but i don't feel anything...? if youre talking about something else, then i hope everything works out<3
No, you're right - it's a pathetic attempt at tension through making Sam and Dean stop in the middle of a conversation for no apparent reason, making one of them just sigh and look off into the distance staring intensely at nothing, or making the one who's being lied to just say nothing.
Yeah, they're Winchesters, no chick flick moments, blah blah blah - but nobody communicates like that. They never used to communicate like that. The writers are trying so hard to have some kind of tension that makes us worried and drawn in at the same time but all I am is bored and unimpressed, not to mention irritated, because when I can see you trying to manipulate my emotions, you've already failed.
I miss when Sam and Dean would still get in each other's faces because of what they believed in (and without either of them being a kind of monster/demon/whatever, or either of them thinking the other basically hates him because of an argument). I think mallorytoyourmickey mentioned it once, in a slightly different context, but I get a "each for his own" kind of feel with Sam and Dean now. When you don't see the point in arguing with someone to try to make them see your point about something you care strongly about, I can't help but think you've probably given up on them.
I mean, this is all more feeling than anything else - they probably have argued at some point or another, but hey - it's a TV show, if they're not successfully making me feel something they're supposed to make me feel, they're not succeeding with me. I'm just not feeling the heart in SPN much anymore. Yes, Sam loves and cares about Dean and vice versa, but it always feels more like telling us than showing us - and this is not remotely a criticism of Jared's A+ acting, just the writing.
The Transience of Friendship
or, How Friends Always Seem To “Outgrow” Us: an INTJ’s perspective.
Everyone loses friends. People change and drift apart, or violently shove each other away, or one party or the other ceases to exist. It is a fact of life. People change…
…some more than others.
INTJs are a strange people. We are so quick to adapt new evidence and change our stances on almost anything immediately if we see we were wrong. However, we are overall a fairly rigid people. Our opinions change, but do we? For as romantic and passionate and caring as we can be, we remain clinical, practical. When we see something we like in somebody, we continue to like it. We can admire our enemies and respect people with beliefs that completely contradict our own.
We make friends. Tentatively, carefully. We don’t generally have many friends, so we cherish what we have, and tend to our friendships like a gardener, carefully nourishing and pruning until we have something we see as beautiful. Not every friendship is a flower. Some are more quiet and relaxed- a fern. Some are hardy and need little care to flourish- a cactus. Some are high maintenance, but rewarding to invest time in. These can be the most beautiful of all- orchids, perhaps?
But friendships can wither and die, no matter how hard we try to keep them alive. Did we water too much, or not enough, or maybe not enough sunlight? What did we do wrong?
I think it is most painful, though, when the friendship no longer needs tending, when you become extraneous and the vines can grow and thrive and be all they ever aspired to be without you in their life.
Friends outgrow us. As I said, we are a fairly unchanging people. We are what we are. We may not go through the phases and partying and endless hookups and breakups, choosing a more steady course. We remain predictable and reliable, but is this a bad thing? We make a friend, and at that point in our lives all is well, but soon enough, they change while we remain the same, and they find newer, better friends.
Are we just a stepping stone? A crutch to lean on when others feel like they can’t find “better,” more exciting friends? Are we doomed to be temporary? Are all people just temporary? Are humans so interchangeable that you can trade one friend in for a newer model without a second thought?
My brain knows that all relationships are inherently selfish. Biology declares it, experience backs it up. Everything we do, for others, for the world, is for ourselves. It makes perfect sense that friends are disposed of when they no longer cater to what we want in our lives. My heart just wishes that the whims of others were not so fickle.
sometimes when a supernatural being throws a winchester against furniture/the wall, the winchester gets knocked out.
sometimes the winchester gets right up like nothing just happened.
most of the time is hella confusing and annoying. and really not very exciting.
let's play who gets thrown against furniture this week, shall we?
"People should not despair that Sam doesn't have a story. Sam has a story, and he has a want."
Yeah well, instead of telling that to us, how about actually giving us the story.
I'm sorry but given what cas did to jimmy and claire, it's disgusting that they should make cas a pseudofather to claire like none of that happened. unlike most teen angst drama that carver is apparently so fond of, the things that happened to claire should never have been dismissed like that never meant anything.
blocking every audio post of the 200th episode songs because good grief that... music.
tvguide get your shit together you're being incredibly disgusting right now
This is a people's choice award. The basic idea is for you to vote in favor of the person you like best, not to tell other people who not to vote for.
Please state where I told anyone who not to vote for.
oh yes school me on music why don't you.
murder isn't going to stop just because you have capital punishment or life sentences.
robbers won't stop robbing people because you lock them up in jail.
rape won't stop because even you think it's 'immoral', never mind what your morality is based on to start with.
crimes and sin won't stop because you deem it immoral, because you make it illegal.
but that isn't even really your point is it? if you have an issue with people deeming these things immoral, say it. and no more of that nonsense about "tolerance" and how "you can do or think or say whatever you want" because it's quite apparent that no, you don't think that. nobody thinks that.
also? those things that you mentioned in your post are not equivalent to "life".
