Jay’s first preferred trial! The weekend started so strong with a Q/1 in T2B, then went downhill from there 🙃 It’s hard not to be frustrated at the Just One Thing runs, but I know they’re so frequent because we just don’t trial consistently and that’s not changing anytime soon. At the same time, there are a shocking number of dogs in our circle facing a whole host of more serious problems: cancers, dog walk injuries, freak accidents and random chances that mean they may never live pain-free again. It really does put it all in perspective- he knocked a few bars, so what? I get to see his excited face when we’re waiting our turn, I get to see his little tail wagging when we fix n go because he’s just so happy to play the game, and I get to take him home and try again another day.

A joy and a privilege to step to the line with him, no matter the outcome 💖
