“If I was your lover”… Finish it in my ask.
What is unexpected happens..
Kain just held Cecil as he cried. He could tell Cecil was terrified of being angry again. Cecil had slightly shown him before in previous “fits”. “It’s alright, Cecil,” he calmly responded, rubbing Cecil’s back and kissing the top of his head. “You were right to be scared and angry. I…I guess I’m just used to doing that, to “servicing” others. Ever since that kidnapping…” Kain shudderedd before continuing to comfort Cecil silently.
“You… don’t have to.. anymore… you’re.. you’re human, not a toy… Please… don’t let them use you…” He sobbed, clutching at the fabric of Kain’s shirt. He just wanted the best for him… the best he could give…
“L-let’s go home… I-I’ll help you forget… about what happened… like the old days…”
Kain wanted to believe Cecil's words, but he was finding it difficult to do so. He used to be considered strong, determined, and stubborn with a high self-esteem. Once his stepfather and the people of Chicago came into the picture, he lost it all, becoming broken and compliant to the wills of others. "Going home sounds like a great idea," he answered, still upset that the night had taken such a turn for the worse. As he started leading Cecil back to their dorm, he wondered if Cecil was truly prepared for a relationship with him.
[[Xixi, I’m getting feels from our rp.. Dear Goddess, these two… I can’t anymore! *rolls*]]
(( I know! These two have feels pouring off of them. We can't seem to do anything other than feels! ))
(( Also, I was thinking of making another RL character. Golbez and Firion are perking up for this. ))
I would... make sure... you were rested and.. well... and we'd.. do whatever we... felt like... t-together... For the... night alone prompt...?
"Thank you, Cecil. That means a lot to me."
What is unexpected happens..
Kain nodded in response to Cecil’s impatience. Cecil had gone back to being shy again. Walking over to his station, Kain removed the makeup off his face, ganged his clothes, and brushed his hair. Placing everything he had brought back into his bag, he turned to Cecil and said, “You know, you’re actually pretty hot when you have confidence.” Blushing at his comment, Kain led Cecil out the backdoor, looking for any drunks before he even stepped outside.
And then a gruff voice slurred out, “It’s the new whore! How’s about a warm welcome to the city?”
Kain swallowed before turning to his boyfriend and whispering, “Go out the front, Cecil. Go home.” He then walked out and closed the door behind him, shivering as he approached the man to give him what he wanted.”
Cecil had smiled and blushed at the comment. He would at least try from now on to stop being so meek and shy. But, he was confused as the slurred, gruff voice said something about Kain. A new whore? Blinking as Kain told him to go home, Cecil started to get mad. That voice…. had made Kain go to him without a second thought.
He was going to use Kain… And Cecil wasn’t going to allow it.
The back door nearly came off its hinges as Cecil slammed it open, pissed at the man to the highest degree. Noting the blond hair, the pissed-off man walked over as calmly as he could before yanking the man away from Kain and throwing said man to the ground, his foot meeting the back of the man’s head, digging into it.
“You listen to me, you fuckass.” Cecil growled, his boot digging into the man’s head. “Lay one hand on him, try to use him as a way to make your sorry-ass life better… I will personally make sure you fucking meet your end. ARE WE FUCKING CLEAR?!”
Of course, this… was one of Cecil’s fears. But at the time, he was too pissed to care. Instead, he lifted his foot off the man’s head and waited for a reply.
As soon as Cecil barged out of the door, Kain knew there was going to be trouble. Sure enough, Cecil soon had the man pinned on the ground with his foot on his head and cursing. He knew Cecil could handle the man on his own, but Kain knew it would be hard to pull him out of his rage. In any case, he had to try.
Walking up to Cecil, Kain wrapped his arms tightly around the younger and held him, allowing the man to escape into the night. As soon as the man left, Kain began to speak in a quiet voice. “It would have been okay, Cecil. This has happened before. I’ve been through worse.”
“No… Even if it has, I won’t allow it. You’re my lover. My fucking best friend and I love you. Like hell am I going to let some drunken asshole use you to jack off or to get an easy lay. You’re not some… thing, Kain. You’re human. And to hell with it…” He turned around and smashed his lips up against Kain’s, his eyes shut tight as his body began to shake and tears started to fall.
He was afraid.
If Kain had felt any shred of dignity left or had kept any pride, Cecil’s words, kiss, and tears wouldn’t have had the desired effect. No one besides Cecil had ever treated him like a human. He was more like a doll, pretty, different, and lifeless. His stepfather had used that doll to kick around and blame when problems came up. Schoolmates had never fully accepted him, using the doll like a scapegoat for so much. At Chicago, he was once again treated like a doll, a pretty toy someone could easily fuck. It seemed those same principles carried over to Colorado if that drunk was anything to go by.
Humanity was something Kain had lost…until he reunited with Cecil.
Petting his lover’s back, Kain felt terrible for having almost slipped back into his former mindset. It was almost a force of habit that made him so submissive now. As Cecil cried and shook, Kain held him close and gently pet him. “You’re the only one,” Kain admitted, almost breaking down again himself. “So much has happened. No one ever cared before. I…I want to tell you everything…but…”
“I… just hate it… when… my friends… are used… it… it’s not right….” Cecil said, burying his face in Kain’s chest and letting out a small sob. He was so terrified of being angry… Even just losing it now shook him to the core. That was frightening to him.. and he had never wanted Kain to see him like that. He didn’t want to scare him.
“Kain… you can tell… me when… you’re ready.” Cecil may have not known the whole story, but it was unlike him to pry.
Kain just held Cecil as he cried. He could tell Cecil was terrified of being angry again. Cecil had slightly shown him before in previous "fits". "It's alright, Cecil," he calmly responded, rubbing Cecil's back and kissing the top of his head. "You were right to be scared and angry. What is unexpected happens..
Kain continued dancing around the stage until he decided to crawl to another table. Spotting one out of the corner of his eye, he smirked despite himself and repeated his actions until he got to the table. That’s when his heart dropped. Sitting at the table, staring back at him, was Cecil. Despite wanting to run backstage and hide in his dressing room, he pulled himself together and continued the act. Acting like he was another member of the audience, Kain hopped up onto the table and crawled over to Cecil, placing the fedora on Cecil’s head and planting a kiss on Cecil’s lips. With a wink, Kain made his way to the stage, and after a while longer, the show ended. As soon as he was offstage, Kain raced to his dressing room and locked the door behind him before breaking down into tears.
It was such a nice relationship while it lasted. Just the thought of being so close made Kain want to throw up those sandwiches he ate.
Cecil had stopped the man sitting beside him from slapping Kain’s ass, putting the fedira on the table as everyone was shuffling out or going to get more drinks. Getting up himself, he glanced around and snuck backstage, looking for the place where Kain would be. It had nearly gotten him thrown out but… He wanted to see him.
Stopping at a door, he took a breath and knocked befire trying to open the door. It was locked. Strange. He knocked again, clearing his throat and forcing down his meek personality… This was the man he loved… Why wasn’t he opening the door?
“Kain.. It’s me, Cecil. Please… open the door. I was going to leave earlier before your show started. You being there.. I was transfixed. You dance really well, despite the type of club this is. Please… just open up so I can see you. I’m not mad. I don’t care that you’re doing this. I said I’d support you, right? That’s what I’ll do! I promised! Please…. let me in…” He rested his head against the door, praying Kain wasn’t mad at him for being here.
“Cecil…” Kain was still crying as he unlocked the door and let him in. It was partially to talk and partially to keep him out of trouble. Locking the door again, Kain turned to face Cecil, head hung in shame and tears rolling down his face. “I’m not mad at you, Cecil. I could never be mad at you. No, I’m mad at myself. This has been my job and my life for the last three years. It’s the only thing I can do right, and it pays for my college. I…I can’t quit. If I quit dancing…I might end up on the streets again.” Letting out a sob, he hung his head lower to prevent Cecil from seeing him cry.
“I’m not asking you to quit, Kain. You can keep doing it. I don’t mind it at all! There’s only one catch, though~” Having finally shoved his meet personality down just for this, Cecil gave Kain a wink and lifted his chin, kissing him directly on the lips. Pulling away after a moment, he smiled. “You have to at least let me have a private show! Now, cheer up! It’s not the end of the world!” With that, he hugged him.
“And don’t be mad at yourself. Or else I’ll make sure to find ways to make you see yourself differently, got it? Now… what say you to some food? Huh?”
At least he was trying to show Kain he still cared. Hell, he was supportive of what he was doing. Couldn’t get any better than that.
Kain was utterly surprised by Cecil’s reaction. It definitely wasn’t what he expected a man who found out his boyfriend was virtually a stripper to act like. The situation turned even more shocking when Kain’s head was lifted and his lips were kissed. When had Cecil become so confident? Either way his words pleased Kain, the blonde letting off a full smile.
“I don’t do any dancing without payment, but we can discuss the price later,” he joked, thinking over Cecil’s offer for food. “I’m not sure what restaurants are open at this time, but I guess we’ll find out.” Secretly, Kain hoped the alleys were clear tonight. Back in Chicago, it hadn’t even been safe to walk as a group from the club he had worked at, and drunks could be merciless.
Cecil smiled but pouted at Kain’s joke. “I was gonna pay you!” He retorted, chucklong before blinking and shaking his head. “There’s a good chinese restaurant not too far from here… it’s open twenty-four hours, last I checked.” Of course, all he really wanted to do was spend time with his boyfriend and lover, giving Kain a hug as he wiped off Kain’s face. “You probably need to… wash up… I… can wait.” And there was the meekness again.

Ah, right! I did. Just a moment and I’ll get on to that account, okay?
(( You don't have to rush. I was just wondering. ^^ ))
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?
"Anything that plays music. I happen to be a fan of the IPod myself."
