On August 19,2013, the Philippines was severely hit by torrential downpour from typhoon "Maring." The rains lasted nearly three days, but the damages are yet to be undone.
In light of this calamity, Future Faces Manila decided to cancel Heartistry this year and instead shift its focus to helping those in need after the turmoil of Maring.
400 bags of relief aid were donated, Vice Mayor Tina Diaz selected families who were specifically in need of such help.
Future Faces Manila spent a total of 39,206 pesos on relief efforts while 120,000 pesos were donated towards relief aid.
Future Faces would like to thank the following for their heartfelt donations:
Gold Peach Properties - 120,000 pesos worth of relief goods
ATC Healthcorps- 100,000 pesos and their Truck to transport relief aid

Angeles Family 39,000 pesos
Henry Ting, Alfonso Tan, Peter Lei, Johnny Ching, James Chua- 30,000 pesos

Each Relief Pack included:
-Rubbing Alcohol
-Tissue
-6 or more cans of Ulam
-2 Cans of Sardines
-4 or more packs of Instant Noodles
-A bag of rice
-A litre of Water
-2 packs of crackers.
Here is the breakdown of the costs:
4 boxes Rebsico Crackers and 28 boxes of Yakisoba Noodles -19,517
Rubbing Alcohol and Rice- 6,778.80
5 boxes of Sardines- 6,750
400 1litre bottles of Water- 6,160
10 boxes of Oh My Ulam, Tissue, Rubbing Alcohol- 120,000
