𝐎𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐖𝐀 𝐓𝐎̄𝐑𝐔 realized that he had fallen in love with you when he was thousands of miles away from you. you had called him, your upset voice and stuffy nose being loud and clear to the man on the other side of the phone. tears were sliding down you cheeks as you wanted nothing more than to be in his arms. his mind started filling with possible solutions to stop the tears from streaming down your cheeks. he told you that he’d be back in a few weeks, that he’d never let you go from that moment on. but it only caused the crying to get louder as the sound filled his ears through the phone. and just like that, a fleeting thought crossed his mind that if he could, he’d freeze over the oceans and run across them to get to you.
𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐀 𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐄 realized that he had fallen in love with you while doing the most simple thing. he was washing the dishes while you dried them, leaning against the counter as you told him how nervous you were when you met his grandmother for the first time. he didn’t quite understand why you got so nervous. it means that you care a lot, shin, you told him, your lips curled into a soft smile. he let out a hum as memories of you and him started flooding his mind — your first time being alone together, your first time holding hands, your first date, your first kiss, your first valentine’s day, everything. he remembered how your hands were trembling, how your breath kept shaking and how your eyes broke contact every time they connected with his. he smiled unconsciously, perhaps that was the reason why his heart started racing whenever he was near you.
𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐊𝐀𝐖𝐀 𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐈 realized that he had fallen in love with you when you scolded him for the second time that evening. he was on the fifth coffee that you had served him with his laptop in front of him, desperately trying to catch up on the tiring university life. you sighed a soft go home and rest before walking away, glancing back one last time and seeing him mouth a thank you in response to which you shook your head at. maybe it was the concern in your voice, maybe it was the tired attire of the long shift you had been working or maybe it was the countless times of it’s on the house you softly mumbled to him. perhaps it was because of how your fingers lingered a few seconds longer on the wooden table every time you brought him something, floating there as if you wanted to take place in front of him but couldn’t. it was then that he realized he’d do everything to take away your burdens and make you laugh.
𝐌𝐈𝐘𝐀 𝐀𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐔 realized that he had fallen in love with you when the two of you were sitting on the old swing set of the little park you used to visit all the time as a child. your hands were wrapped around the rough metal, lips curled into a smile as the sun started sinking more and more behind the blooming trees and old buildings. this moment with you was so normal, so mundane. none of the things he normally thrived and craved for were present. no cameras, no rush, no cheers. none of the things that made him feel alive. yet he had never felt more alive than being in this moment with you.
𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐙𝐔𝐌𝐈 𝐇𝐀𝐉𝐈𝐌𝐄 realized that he had fallen in love with you when you intertwined your fingers with his and called out his name with a tone that got him weak in the knees. you pulled him into the direction of the giant ferris wheel you wanted to ride with him and frankly, he let himself be pulled by you. his legs slowly started making bigger strides as you fastened your pace through the herd of people. you looked back at him with a beaming smile and eyes that reflected every single neon light around you. he didn’t understand why you’d want to sit in a little cart and go up and down a few times. but the longer he stared at you, the more he started to like the idea of going round and round with you. and perhaps, he’d forever go round and round if it meant he’d see that smile again.
𝐒𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐒𝐀 𝐊𝐈𝐘𝐎𝐎𝐌𝐈 realized that he had fallen in love with you when you linked your pinky with his and stared into his dark eyes, promising him that you’d always put your clothes in the hamper from now on so it would be clean whenever he’d visit your house. the cheeky smile you wore made something flutter in his stomach, which confused him because he had never experienced it before. that’s when it snapped inside his head: he was in love. he thought it was ridiculous that he realized he loved you while making such a silly promise. but it was exactly what he needed and wanted — simple silliness like the way little kids promise each other things.
SUNA finds it hot when you show off your newly painted nails. it’s so pretty on you, it fits your skin tone very well, and he loves it when you’re so confident about yourself.
KUROO is straining so hard to look away only to peek back at you. he can’t help it — you, sucking the tip of your finger to soothe away the accidental burn you’ve just given yourself.
AKAASHI’s easily distracted by the motion of you drawing your head back and spinning your chair away from your desk. he doesn’t mean to think this way, but fuck is it so hot when you release some tension with a slow exhale.
IWAIZUMI admits that he gets a little heated every time you peer at him with bored, dazed eyes. he has to clear his throat and wish you don’t notice his feelings of fluster. but you do anyway — shortly sending him a smug look that’s enough to melt him.
SAKUSA’s breath hitches when your lips part as a form of your concentration. would he call himself a lucky man? definitely. he’d spare 10 minutes of his sleep just to be standing between your legs while you carefully applied a product on his face.
ATSUMU gets blushy every time you run a palm slowly over your shoulder, stretching your neck at the same time. “what are you looking at, tsumu?” to which he could barely respond to.
TSUKISHIMA swallows in the sight of water dribbling down your face. it’s thrilling just how much effect you have over him — clearly made evident at momentary pause of his tooth-brushing to stare at you while your face is still being washed.
