Marriage

Why do fairytales always end with the princess marrying the prince and living happily ever after? I always grew up thinking that was the norm but in reality there are so many amazing and beautiful women out there without a prince, so does marriage really matter? Is the sanctity of marriage slowly being washed away in my generation..?

it’s really freaking scary not being a part of someone’s life anymore. you aren’t in their daily routine. they aren’t in yours. you have to find something else to fill that spot, that empty hole. but nothing seems to fit quite right and that’s so frightening to me. getting used to a brand new routine without something that you’ve gotten to know so well

I hope you never have to look for them in every person that you meet. You’ve gotta leave them in the past, and I know it’s going to be hard. You can look back to them but you can’t take them with you because they can’t follow you. When it ends, it ends. There are just some things that you can’t rewind or restart, you’ve just gotta keep going on with life. You’ll be okay; I know I always say this but you will be. And I’ll repeat as many times as you want, you will be okay, you will be okay, it’ll be okay. You’ll be fine. One day you’ll look at somebody and they won’t remind you of them and you will be at peace because you’ll know.
