We Explain Memes like a Movie Plot with a Meme Review Rating at the end of each Meme.
Forever Alone, Meme Explain:
The joke here is to do with the different elements and how they are about this meme. The meme shows an image of two people hugging with the caption ‘literally every element’ as most other elements react with other elements due to their lack of electrons. However, noble gases are already stable and therefore don’t need to react with other elements, this is shown by the lonely person hugging. The image below is a representation of most of us as we feel lonely and we can all relate to the noble gases.

Fortune Teller, Meme Explain:
So here a fortune teller tells a man that in 12 years, he’s going to suffer from a terrible heartbreak and to avoid this the person bought himself a puppy to cheer him. This may seem like a beautiful thing, however, the fortune teller might just be right. The person now has a puppy with whom he’s going to get attached and after 12 years the dog might die and the person will suffer a terrible heartbreak just like the fortune teller predicted. The person doesn’t realize this and gets a puppy to cheer himself up even though after 12 years the dog will be the reason his heart will break according to the fortune-teller

it’s Mozzarella, Meme Explain:
The first part of the meme shows us a picture of Mozart who was a prolific and influential composer of the Classical period.
The second image is of Cinderella which is a fantasy film about a young beautiful girl. The third image is a combination of the first two images. Mozart and Cinderella have been used in half and an image of cheese is being shown. The cheese is named Mozzarella cheese which comes from the initials of (Moz)art and ending of Cind(Ariella) to form Mozzarella. Mozzarella is a traditionally southern Italian cheese made from Italian buffalo’s milk by the pasta filata method.

High IQ, Meme Explain:
Here a person was filling out a form when he came across the option of sexual orientation. He got offended that “straight” was not an option only. In reality, he didn’t know that heterosexuality has the same meaning as being “straight” because it means a person sexually attracted to people of the opposite sex. The below part is making fun of him saying that his intelligence is close to 0 because he was complaining without having any knowledge about what’s written.

An Apple & Doctor, Meme Explain:
Here we can see a patient thanking the doctor for replacing his heart. The doctor tells him that his bill is $30,000 (probably the US). The patient flips out an Apple from his pocket and shows it to the doctor. This is because it’s a common phrase that “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. This phrase is meant to tell us how many health benefits an apple gives us. But in the meme, the phrase is taken literally and that’s why the doctor begins to disappear as soon as he sees an apple.

Google Search, Meme Explain:
The joke here is that google gave a correct but very obvious answer and hence said “No need to thank me”. According to Google, if you know when the tree was planted you can easily tell its age. It’s like saying if you know when you were born you can tell your age. However, you can determine the age of a tree by counting annual rings of wood growth. Any dead tree which has been cut down will have a ring pattern and you can guess the age by counting that.

Legendary Battle, Meme Explain:
Here we see an instance where a person was unable to spell “hilarious”. He tries every combination but eventually gives up and gives a new name to the word “hilarious” which is “the big laugh”. Below we can see other instances where something similar happened and people were unable to spell a certain word so they gave it a different name, like for example the second person was unable to spell “depression” so he makes a new word for it which is “the big sad” and the last is the person who made the meme, he is unable to spell “legendary” so he uses the word “big cool”.

Mexican Dora, Meme Explain:
Here we can see a person sending a message “you’re” followed by a picture of a bowl which a Dora printed on it. This is meant to say “a Dora bowl” which sounds like “adorable” thus making the sentence “you’re adorable” which is cute. However, the person who received the message didn’t understand it at all and thought that it meant “you’re Mexican” because it’s a common assumption that Dora is Mexican by the way she speaks Spanish and her appearance.

Handsome Shrek, Meme Explain:
Here we can see a news headline saying that women are generally happier with less attractive men. In this sense, if a man is handsome, then her lady would be really sad. Below we can see Fiona who is crying and sad. Princess Fiona is a fictional character in DreamWorks’ Shrek franchise, first appearing in the animated film Shrek. One of the film series’ main characters, Fiona is introduced as a beautiful princess placed under a curse that transforms her into an ogre at night. She marries Shrek who is considered to be attractive in the meme community. So as Shrek is really attractive, Fiona is sad according to the headlines.

Motivation gone wrong, Meme Explain:
Here we see different sentences and their reaction by respective people who are directly affected by the sentence. The first one says “don’t judge a book by its cover” which is a popular quote. However, we can see the reaction of book cover designers because they spend a lot of time designing the cover and the sentence is saying to ignore it. Similar is the case with book critics and judges because the sentence is saying to not do it but it’s their job to do it. The last one is a bit tricky. It says “don’t ” with a corresponding picture of Nike being angry about it. This is because Nike has a slogan “Just do it” and the word is saying “don’t” which is directly stopping them from what their slogan says.

Sneaky Business, Meme Explain:
Here we see a signboard that says that a person managed to sell his homing pigeon on eBay for the 22nd time. The homing pigeon is selectively bred for its ability to find its way home over extremely long distances. The rock dove has an innate homing ability, meaning that it will generally return to its nest using magnetoreception. Thus the pigeon kept returning to its original owner and the owner would sell it again and again which is an incredibly smart and sneaky business.

Fortune Puzzle, Meme Explain:
Here we see a wheel of fortune puzzle with absolutely no letters shown. The only hint given is that it’s an 80’s song lyrics. This may seem confusing but the song is “Never gonna give you up, Never gonna let you down” which is a very famous song from Rick Astley and is still popular because people use it to Rickroll others by giving out the link of the song sneakily.

It’s Australia, Meme Explain:
Here we see a conversation where one person asks the other person where he is from and immediately apologizes when the other person says “Australia”. He then proceeds to write the words upside down and asks “is this better?” to which the Australian says “Yes, thank you mate”. This all may seem confusing but it’s a common joke that Australians live upside down as Australia is situated in the Southern Hemisphere which is why such jokes started evolving and the guy was just playing along.

Two Idiots, Meme Explain:
Here we see a good person who has found a lost phone messaging a friend from the contact list to let the friend know that he has found a lost phone. However, the friend he messages to is completely dumb and doesn’t understand anything and asks silly questions like “which friend?” and takes it to the next level by texting on the same number saying “some guy has your phone” which is stupid because the phone is lost and he should deliver this message some other way and not on the same chat. Below we see the meme saying “clown to clown communication” which is WRONG as there was only 1 clown in the conversation.

American Measures, Meme Explain:
The joke here is that the person asked for the dimensions of the bicycle so he can purchase it if it meets his requirements.
However the seller took a picture of the bicycle with a banana for reference. The below meme depicts a proud American as Americans are known to use weird ways to measure or compare things, as in this case the person used a banana for reference!

Visible Confusion, Meme Explain:
Here we see a really weird tattoo which makes absolutely no sense at first, however, the idea is pretty interesting. The person wants to say 2 things and is using “if you” as the base of both the sentences. The 1st sentence says “If U stay, stay forever”. The 2nd sentence is “If U go, do it today”. Since the words are written confusingly, the reader gets confused as to what the person is trying to say thus making a visible confusion.
