I log back in here after years of not being here and the first thing I see is Harry hitting on Cedric.

Cedric couldn’t help but laugh awkwardly after hearing such a thing come from a boy, Harry Potter, no less. “Aha… Am I? I believe I’ve been told that before. . yeah.” He hoped the pink tinging his cheeks and ears wasn’t noticeable. While he was more than used to attention being on him due to Quidditch or academic achievements, Cedric still wasn’t used to flattery when it came to his looks.

Harry cleared his throat. “You’re welcome.” How awkward this was. It was like he was just in a trance and decided to blurt out whatever nonsense first came to his mind. Stupid sexy Cedric. His eyes trailed off, now blushing as he shuffled his feet, small puffs of cold air leaving his lips. He decided to stare at some nearby trees, brightly dressed in their autumn leaves. “Nice weather we’re having.”

I always forget the name of the dementors unless I’m reminded of it. Until then I refer to them as nazguls.

「ϟ」– Still drowsy, Harry nodded silently as he shuffled over to make room for the girl. It probably seemed a bit rude considering the fact he was slouching into his seat with his legs stretched far out but his mind was too groggy and his body too tired to care for manners. 

The sounds of the rain outside further lulled him into sleep as they splattered into drops on the windows and splashed against the concrete outside. It was all white noise buzzing in his ears as he made himself comfortable.

    SHE raised her eyebrows at his actions. Didn’t anybody teach him that speaking was a thing. But seeing as she didn’t want to stand or look impolite she gave him a tight smile and sat down. 

   ❝ YOU know that when someone talks to you it’s POLITE to say something back. But it sucks right … the rain. It ruins my hair.  ❞

Her words interrupted his thoughts and he shuffled his body weight. Who was she? “Well, aren’t you a little ray of sunshine.” His bright green eyes rolled so hard they might as well have fallen out of their sockets. “Oh, your poor hair. How will it ever survive in this climate? What a terrible, terrible curse that has fallen upon you, miss.” If he had to suffer with wild messy hair, she could handle a little moisture in hers. Besides, how was it any different from washing one’s hair aside from the lack of shampoo? Ridiculous how vain some people could be.  Besides, Harry was too sleepy to deal with her nonsense, he wanted a nap!
