really, really tiring how many of you ppl seem to think of gender noncomforming men as like. a weapon you can use against the patriarchy. and not a marginalised group in their own right.

like if a man is involved in/supportive of feminism or queer activism, but he’s not gender nonconforming enough for you, you acting like he’s dodging the gender-war draft. and if he is gender nonconforming but he’s not political enough for you, you act like his self-expression is now ~hollow~ and ~meaningless~ and possibly even treacherous.

gnc men were not put on earth to be your human shield or your martyr. they are not invulnerable just by virtue of being men. they are the targets of a huge amount of violence. why are you always demanding they put themselves in harm’s way for you and never talking about how you can make them safer?
