Born in Sichuan. Entered Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 1972, and studied at the PLA Art Institute in 1984. He now works as art editor at PLA Daily. He has received awards at national art exhibitions. His oil paintings are collected by National Art Museum of China, China Military Museum, and galleries in the United States, Holland, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
