It’s Arbor Day. Time to break out the shovels and plant some trees. Make the world a little greener.

Dry chamomile on a screen (or in a strainer over a bowl like I am) so all the bugs that love the flowers can escape being part of your tea. Dry for 2-3 days, then go pick the next set of flower heads that are sure to be done. Chamomile is a hearty grower and in mild climates you may get more than one crop. Just be careful - once you have chamomile growing, you’ll never un-have it. Chamomile pairs well with catnip for a soothing, calming, sweet/fruity tea. Great for bedtime and digestive aid.
Red clover, picked this morning for a hydrosol. Such a lovely and gentle plant that helps with complaints such as psoriasis and eczema.
