Over the course of a moment her hand relaxed around his arm. She listened as he spoke, taking in each word. Maybe the others here weren’t so different from her after all. “In that case… ‘m glad tha’ you too were sent ‘ere.” Her nervous gaze was kept away from him as she knew with each step they were only nearing a large group of people. “I… Think you already know, bu’ I absolutely love ta read.”
His shoulders moved as if he was chuckling. “I think you know that I do like to read too.” When they got close to the entrance to the dance he looked at her and stopped walking. “We can talk more about this later, because I do want to know more about you but for now lets leave this heavy talk and enjoy ourselves.” Blackagar opened the door for her and smiled a small smile.
She could feel his shoulders moving alongside hers, causing her to laugh with him. "You would be righ'. I knew tha'." She smiled, though it faltered a bit as she noticed they had arrived. Her well in tune sense of hearing made it to where out side the closed door she could already hear the music. She looked up at Blackagar as he spoke and opened the door. Her lips upturned at the gesture and she walked just inside, looking about as she waited for him to follow.
