Fun fact: Long pig (a euphemism for human meat) was originally part of Don’t Starve together’s game mechanics: If you died, along with the rest of your possessions you also dropped long pig meat. Essentially, you could eat your dead companions’ bodies.

It was eventually removed because the developers thought that cannibalism was a touch too dark for the game.
