The Cycle of the Living Ghost is an anthology of six poetry/prose collections. It details the abstract, enigmatic genderless character of the Living Ghost as the loose narrator who spends six books learning what it takes to break away from the traumas, systems, and otherworldly paradoxes that cause them the most harm.

*Re-edits (or second editions) were created to incrase legibility decrease the emotional work load for the reader, and to maintain narrative flow. And to bring less kempt works up to date for paper publishinh.

Blog update and trigger warning under the cut ✂️

The collections and the blog are now a complete package. This blog is now my first portfolio. I’m proud of that and I’m sharing my life with you all for essentially free.

And, if you feel inclined, please consider reading all this in the narrative/timeline order presented above. I never mind people picking these up for free so long as you tell someone about it. It is exposure. It is. I would like feedback on that flow eventually.

Anyway, yeah, if you think reading these in the intended vision or order might be cool, try to and let me know what u think of things by the end. 

Trigger Warning! If you struggle with the things I struggled with, I personally like to believe I spent 4 years writing our swansongs but I do think that if you don't want to hear about trauma, self-harm, and delusion in like every other poem then this is that trigger alarm. I was young and edgy at first. Now I'm just a very angry writer which is why I really would just rather write rap and sing punk songs now.

No matter what you do or I do with the art going forwards, I just want to take the time to thank everyone involved with my half career to know that you personally saved my fucking life. This is end for now. Let's have a glass!

Aid for Queer Refugees in Sudan (Starving)

(O7/03/26) Survival is harrowing in Sudan's human rights crisis for everyone, but especially women and queer kinfolk. I have been friends with the camp leader, Abdul, since June of 2025. I am happy to know of his survival but understand and mourn that his people are starving, not living.

At the time of posting, it has been over 24 hours since anyone has eaten. They are at zero funds.

With evidence below, Abdu has informed me that their expenses are nearly 100 USD a day due to scarcity. So, the number he gave was 600 dollars a week. The lowest goal, then, approximately 2400 for one month of food.

Reasonably, I will set their goal at 2800 for the month of July. The nature of these posts, is that as funds are expended, goals are harder to track. But I implore you to donate and share his gfm with some of this info, far and wide if you cannot donate. Please do not ignore when 5 dollars, 10 dollars, 50 dollars can add up to save vulnerable human lives. Black lives still matter. Trans people are real human beings who deserve safety.

Since the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, my family and my siblings - have been living in constant fear, crying and suffering because of shrapnel, shells and bullets. We have no food🥘🌯

, no cooking gas

, no homes🏚, no cleaning supplies, no clothes🧣🧥🧤

. Our house was completely destroyed

. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living

, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble.

Imagine:

We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times,

and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us? since there is such an "english speakers who don't even try to pronounce a foreign mame correctly" epidemic, native english speakers often try to overcorrect and end up thinking they have a moral imperative to pronounce every foreign name correctly at all times. so i'm gonna hold your hand and look into your eyss as i say this: you can't. you can't pronounce every sound in a language you don't speak. and that's fine. it happens to the rest of us too. we won't be mad so long as you try your best.

“I did some research to pronounce this name correctly” = 👍 great! even if the pronunciation was still off (and learning to pronounce a foreign language correctly takes a lot of practice) people generally appreciate it when someone goes the extra mile for accuracy, and honestly, languages are cool

“I’m probably not saying that correctly”/“sorry for my pronunciation” = 👍 understandable! foreign languages often have sounds that aren’t used in English and learning to correctly pronounce unfamiliar phonemes is genuinely difficult even with help
