How to make Silver Cones in Wolvden
Wolvden has 2 currencies - silver, which you earn from playing, and gold which you buy or earn from other players. Fortunately, you specifically need silver cones to do a lot of things so they’re always in demand and gold cones are not too hard to earn from other players.
Explore, explore, explore! Certain encounters give you some SC randomly but you also need stuff. The silver comes in at a trickle but it’s the items that really matter.
Craft your single use feathers and any large leaves you don’t need into nesting material and sell it on the trading centre for about 50SC or 1GC each. This is still cheaper than the default price from the raccoon and will sell eventually, don’t rush it.
Sell your small meat chunks and single use carcassess (rat, stoat, weasel, fish) to the Raccoon. They’re worth more per use and annoying to feed anyway.
Complete the daily quest. This is the most efficient way to earn silver.
Go fishing to earn more of that sweet, delicate meat to sell to the racoon. This is fairly time intensive but if you have the largest fish in that category you also get a bonus at the end of the week which makes it better.
It’s doablemto make 1000SC within 7 days this way.

For those of you that say that it makes sense that all Lunar Event bases should be blue, sure fair enough. But it’s kinda... silly? to say that?
Think about it, what will happen after 1 year? That’s 6 bases’ worth. It would be ridiculous for all of them to be blue. We already have like 4 non-special blue bases. 6 including the specials. Like this blog mentioned, the WD staff could’ve taken inspiration from irl moon events, but they just went with blue again. There are a ton of moon related colors to pick from.
I hope that this is just a 2-time thing and future bases are more creative... at this point WD is just a time killer for me because it’s not really fun anymore :(
It actually makes sense to me that they would cycle through one color at a time. We already know Amaldine exists, so what I think will happen with the bases is:
Blue light (selene), blue medium (lunar), blue dark
Purple light, purple medium, purple dark
Red light, red medium, red dark
Orange light, orange medium, orange dark,
Yellow light, yellow medium, yellow dark
Green light, green medium, green dark
Which gives them 18 bases to cycle through, or 3 years of planned content, which should be enough time bewteen real world lunar events.
Sure it might be nice to mix the order up, but this way the colors cycle through like the moon.
I’m also hoping the whole color scheme of the lunar world changes to match the base color for thise 6 months.
Please do not

Yeah, this is why a lot of people wanted to avoid Sango (now New Befriended Wolf) and Dzanek the player.
Also they ‘despise’ cats according to their profile.
I’m loving the art and vibe of the wolvden lunar event, but not sure which of these encounters are the most fantastically creative, bizarre and ridiculous.

I think I am gonna get the base app for myself,, fuck the (imo) shitty stud market lol
Hey anon! If you see this reply (or if someone else who's also grumpy at the Wolvden stud market sees this reply), I'd love to hear why the stud market is shit and your thoughts on it?

Actually think the stud market is decent IF you get over level 17, are T2 or better and have enough marks. Helps to not be related to a big name because then you’re directly competing with them, but a T2 NBW with 10 marks can get 1-3 requests a week above the minimum price.
How's the Wolvden market at the moment? Any tips?
To be completely honest with you, I'm a little out of touch at the moment. I'm answering this in case any of my followers have any tips for you!

Well...going from most recent to least recent...
Healing salves have been going for about 1gc each since the lunar event, because there are so many lunar battles and you need to win them if you want to convert one lunar essence to one lunar tear and get that shiny new base.
Red fox pelts and tails at least doubled in price since Reconsider started offering for them again, as a straight GC offer. Now the pelts are listed around 160-200GC and tails around 60-100GC, when before Reconsider went shopping again they were more like 50-60 for pelts and 25-30 for tails.
But this big shopping spree has probably contributed to GC being more available for general players.
When the Fox Base first hit (the first T3) the market went pretty nuts for Wolves in heat, especially T2′s. A NBW T2 in heat could sell for 13GC (equivalent of a base changer and an elk heart to induce heat) and the serious T3 breeders were dropping gold on instant birth feathers like there was no tomorrow. Now fox bases are more common than some of the T2 bases (Isabel in particular I think). Nesting material was also selling like hotcakes to those big breeders.
The GC:SC ratio crashed big time when gene the bat was released as everybody was dropping SC into that sink to scan and prove their potential melanims/albinism carriers and look for the first brachy carrier. The ratio on the market was about 1gc to 50sc when that first dropped, so a good time to cash in.
Best way to make GC if you can’t buy it is find what the big spenders want. Right now it’s healing salves, before that it was in heat wolves and nesting material, it’s always fox drops. Trophies are a bit of a gamble because nobody knows what they’ll be used for, and lower cost lunar exclusive decor has a few people offering gold for it right now.
