The First Day of the Matriarchy Revolution

A hastily erected scaffold, covered in bloodstains from the previous torture of men. On this day the crowd of women is more frenzied than ever; the spectacle has been turned into an assembly-line production. A woman on the scaffold glorifies the revolution, teasing and whipping up the crowd before yet another public demonstration of the place men now occupy in the new society.

A terrified man waits. The crowd chants: “Shame him! Punish him!”

And here he is — yesterday’s libertine, the arrogant user of women’s bodies without commitment — now chained like a stray dog by a collar to the post, humiliatingly stripped and whipped with a lash for the crowd’s amusement. This is his new place in society! The shame he has endured and the welts from the whipping will remain with him forever — like a brand.
