Let me get this straight...the story following right after the one with Wonder Woman's original origin story (which I will do a longer post about at a different time) is about...elephant murders being done by WWII Japanese spies who are doing it to limit military donations?

It gets more weird than that, but I'm capping it there. I was already confused when the summary at the beginning said it was about solving elephant murders, but wow. I have no words. The 40s was a crazy (and racist, I am quickly being reminded of by some of these comics tho that's not surprising) time.
