Proper Brilliant

My solo adventure to the United Kingdom was both terrifying and exciting. When you immerse yourself within the culture and the people, you gain a unique perspective and become mindful of your surroundings. Alas, this picturesque scene of the United Kingdom was “proper brilliant,” I might say.

Hygge

Camaraderie. Contentment. Coziness. “Hygge” (pronounced hue-gah) is the Danish modus operandi for appreciation of life's simple pleasures. This deep-seated tradition is not just about materialistic ideals, but a shared experience. During my summer exchange at Copenhagen Business School, I have learned to embody hygge, as a state of mind, from one of the happiest countries in the world. Some of my most memorable moments were relaxing and enjoying delicious liquorice ice cream at Nyhavn shared with mindful people.

Yikes!

I’m leaving in less than 72 hours. Oh my goodness. I am nervous and excited at the same time! But i’m mostly having an anxiety attack!! There’s so much I didn’t do in Edmonton yet!! I’m super excited though! My first trip ALONE, like legit alone for ten days in a foreign country that I know quite little about to be frank. Anyways, I know I will have a blast regardless of what I do... and I should stop worrying about the hostels and airbnbs! THEY”LL BE FINE. .. I HOPE.

Accepted~

I got accepted! woot woot. that feeling of rejection is passed me. This is why i should never worry about being rejected. JUST LET THINGS HAPPEN. you know what i mean? But at least i was prepared for if i didn’t make it. I mean... i already bought open’er tickets. keke! I’m JUST SO EXCITED. THANK YOU MR.MIC.
