Mother rain, manifold, measureless, falling on fallow, on field and forest, on house roof, low hovel, high tower, downwelling waters all-washing, wider than cities, softer than sisterhood, vaster than countrysides, calming, recalling:return to us, teaching our troubled souls in your ceaseless descent to fall, to be fellow, to feel to the root, to sink in, to heal, to sweeten the sea. Here is a great example of how when you look for a good restaurant, the usual telltales arent much to go by (the colours are pretty hip though!). Slowly making my way through the photos I took of our India trip. 01/2018 (at Jaipur)
My other whole @clayhands is opening a clay studio and teaching space in Woodstock! Extremely excited about what this place will become under the stewardship of an incredible individual. Inspired by your bravery to do what you believe in. To the opening of another adventure! Stoked! (at 196 Victoria)
... And lots of time spent at train stations too. Waiting for the trains. Watching the people. Drinking chai. 01/2018 (at Hospet)
Lots of time spent on trains in India. Time to just sit and let your thoughts go where they want to. Become unattached. Let go. 01/2018 (at Jaipur)

Early morning views in Pushkar, India.
Boy practicing his kite flying skills for the kite festival. Its incredible, they can reach amazing heights with these simple diamond shaped kites on a single string. We saw some which I guessed were about 200m up or more! (at Pushkar)
The last month of travel through #india has been too engaging to even think about Instagram. Now there is a near endless number of memories and images to share. I don't even know where to start. The beginning is an obvious place... and why not include a #bicycle. I spent the afternoon watching the world go by in a park in #delhi while trying to recover from the long flight from South Africa; made worse by a fever and the flu. It was actually really nice to just take it slow on arrival, rather than rush around, and see this new world. This fruit vendor was also chilling, sitting on some stranger's scooter checking his phone frequently. At one point he got up and started splashing water on this #fruit, making them all the more enticing in the thick heat of the afternoon. What was interesting is that he then also splashed water on the ground all around his stall, very meticulously, by hand from a tiny bowl, presumably to settle the dust and generally make it fresher.
