I didn’t think today would ever come. Many months of hard work and the first one to finish from the group I started school with. Almost burst into tears with the many “I’ll miss you” I heard and hugs that I got today. I’m sad, but I am super proud and happy to say that I made it through. CDI College Takes Part at Microsoft Store Opening at Square One in Mississauga

On the 6th of April, 2014 CDI College participated at the opening of the Canada’s 4th Microsoft store at Mississauga’s square one. The size of the store is larger than 3 500 feet.

Here is what the Network Systems Engineer Program student Simon says about his experience at CDI College: “The instructor has contributed the best knowledge to my career. Even on the busiest days, he understands and gives real life examples during most of his lessons. Labs are flexible and gives hands on experience even outside of school. That is something a lot of students including myself, like to take advantage of. I feel that the campus is my second home. It gives me the comfort to study and be socially active in any activity. Big hugs to this school for helping me change my future.”

On the 13th of March, 2014 CDI College held a graduation ceremony at the MISSISSAUGA CONVENTION CENTRE in Mississauga, Ontario. Graduates, faculty, staff, families, friends and curious spectators filled the room to witness and participate at the biggest event in every student’s life.

Here is what the Accounting and Payroll Administrator program student Oumadave says about his experience at CDI College: “My instructor, Yash, is an amazing teacher because of the way he teachers and explains the material needed to excel. On top of that, not only does he help you in your education but also with any problems with our lives. Yash has made me more confident by taking his time and sitting down with me whenever needed. Yash has incredible knowledge over many things. He is always positive which makes your day better. Therefore, not only is Yash a great teacher but a good friend. The classrooms have all the materials needed for you to be able to do your work with no problem at all. My overall experience has been amazing so far. The people at CDI college are very helpful. The campus is always lively with different activities going on. The instructors are great. I am looking forward to graduation but will miss the people at CDI once I leave for university.”

Edmonton North Students Massage CCAA Badminton National Championship Participants in Alberta

On the 28th of February, 2014 CDI College Advanced Massage Therapy and Massage Therapy program students did some volunteer work at the CCAA Badminton National Championship by massaging its participants in Edmonton, Alberta. It was an excellent chance for our students to apply newly acquired skills in real life on the athletes after their performance on the badminton courts.

The event took place at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) and that was the fifth time it hosted the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Badminton National Championship.

Here is what the Advanced Massage Therapy program student Alexis says about her experience at CDI College: “My instructor is amazing. She is able to answer all my questions and helps me find extra information. She goes out of her way to help us and is able to provide examples based on real life experiences. I like how we are able to move things around easily to fit what we are doing in the classroom. I am very pleased with what the instructors have taught us. They are what make this a good experience and the reason I stayed at CDI.”

Bras for a Cause at the CDI College Longueuil Campus in QC Part 2 of 2

Check out some of the pictures from our Bras for a Cause in Longueuil, Quebec. Students, staff and faculty had lots of fun while giving back to the community. All of the money donated was given to the Canadian Breast Foundation.  

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation is dedicated to creating a future without breast cancer and works collaboratively to fund, support and advocate for:

-          Relevant and innovative research

-          Meaningful education and awareness programs

-          Early diagnosis and effective treatment

-          A positive quality of life for those living with breast cancer

Here is what the Early Childhood Education program student Alexandro says about his experience at CDI College: “The instructors at CDI College have greatly helped my learning, thanks to their professionalism, patience and experience.
