„Wir haben Angst davor, zu viel zu fühlen, aus Angst, dass der andere überhaupt nichts fühlt.“
- Eleanor Roosevelt
“Sometimes you meet someone and even though you never liked brown eyes before, their eyes are your new favourite colour.”

“You alone are enough. You have nothing to prove to anybody.”

“The most painful part of losing you was realising I had lost myself too.”
— K.M.//I gave you parts of me I can’t get back (via damaged-poetry)
One of the biggest keys to surviving your 20’s is Learning how to move on. Move on from old friends, lovers & bad situations.
no, i don’t have a “dream job.” i want to spend my days reading and writing and lazing in the afternoon sun. i want to bake bread and brownies and apple crumble. i want to grow my own vegetables and plant a rainbow of flowers. i want to be with nature. i want to be at peace.
Five More Minutes
Don’t say goodbye just yet, give me five more minutes of you so my heart can have one last memory before he disentangle you from its core.
Give me five more minutes to remember the way your eyes shine in the sun, even when they’re cold and distant as you tell me it’s goodbye.
So give me five more precious minutes to soften the blow of your leaving, and let me pretend one last time and everything is fine.
- Ely C. Winters.
