Upupu… Our story begins with a school named Hope’s Peak. There were 24 students, but one thing they didn’t know! There were TRAITORS amongst them! All wanting to kill those innocent students~ Upupupu!

…Eh? Sound like a generic opening for some sort of game..?

Lynch Fest is a DR OC Roleplay group, taking place after the first game in a building named New Hope’s Peak. The gameplay is heavily based on Mafia, but the setting is more similar to Dangan Ronpa. We look forward to seeing you in the game!

The day was ordinary, to say the least- normal classes, normal sights, normal homework. The last one was a pretty unfortunate constant. If there was one thing Shizuko could live without having as part of her daily routine the assignments were it, hands-down.

Still, what could she do about it? A sigh flowed out as she walked down the hall, arms heavy with books and mind weighed down with dread.

It wasn’t even until the other student moaned that the girl noticed she was there, or her fall. Her woes over homework were immediately forgotten, and anything else in her head was too. Oh geez, was she alright-?!

"A-ah….Miss?"

One hand waved in front of the other girl’s face, Shizuko’s own lines with worry. She crouched beside the student, the other arm attempting to support her.

“That l-looked like a pretty bad fall-! Are you okay? Do you n-need some help?”

Yuily blinked a couple hundred times, realizing that even the fall didn't stop her from falling into a slightly dazed state. It was weird, expecially considering that she felt wide awake only moments before. Exhaustion can do that to a person, eh?

That when Yuily actually noticed the girl kneeling beside her, asking if she was alright. Was she alright? Probably not, but it's best not to worry others, right? And who needs to waste a day at the nurse or in bed when she could be completing all of this work she needed to do to get all caught up? Not her, no-siree. 

"Y-yeah! I'm fine, I'm fine, thanks or worrin' about me chief." Chief? What nonsense was she spouting?

The waitress then began to pull herself up, hand placed heavily on the wall. But then she fell. Again. Although this time it was more of her legs giving up and her just in a pile of her limbs on the ground. Quite unpleasant, I'm sure, but it's not like she noticed. The only thing she was doing was attempting to keep herself awake and not fall into the world of dreams.

Oh man, had she done it this time. Yuily had done everything she needed to do to get settled in this school! And what would take someone a month took her a whole week! But then again, she didn't sleep. She just worked and worked and worked and worked... well, you get the drift. 

So the waitress was walking through the hallways-much more like stumbling actually- as she carried a messenger bag filled with all her school books and work that she needed to do to get all caught up with her current classes. It was only a small amount of work, considering. Her classes back at her old school had taught her most of the material, but with the whole school move, she had to skip out on some lessons, and therefore that was the work she needed to make up. She knew what to do to do the work, thankfully. 

But as she was stumbling, she fell. It was quite a fall, actually- like the girl tripped but there was nothing there. Her face was flat against the ground, and she moaned slightly, moving to sit up, this action done slowly. 

"Ow..."

She moved to lean against the wall, rubbing her nose a little as she did. Oh gosh, was she tired...

"…I had to give it a shot. Anyway, there’s tons of stuff, even a huge bulletin board with all the advertisements up on it. Let me see which ones I can give off the top if my head…"

"There’s Dance Club, Orchestra, all sorts of sports teams… I think we’ve got a debate team and some cultural stuff going on, too."

"Ah, really? A huge bulletin board? Where is it? Which building? Because I have yet to stumble across it! And, um, it would actually be great if you would lead me to it, because I think otherwise I'll end up getting lost in this ginormous place! I didn't think I was capable of getting severely lost before coming to this school! It's kinda crazy!"

"I"m a n-new student too! Ummm…" Suki looked over her back at some of the aforementioned cool kids… no they were much too cool to talk to her. It would be better to try and befriend someone only mildly cool like this. " It’s n-nice to meet you too.." Oh and now they were sitting? Well Suki better follow suit. The test taker crossed her legs and sat as well. "A-ah are to tired?"

Yuily had now closed her eyes, and had been rolling her head around, allowing a quiet crack to sound in the room as she worked out a kink in her neck. She heard someone begin to speak to her, and felt them sit down along with her. 

"Ah, another newbie here? Did I come at the time where this school seems to accept new students or something-"

Then Yuily cracked open her eyes and noticed something peculiar about about the person sitting in front of her. They didn't have arms. Yuily stopped speaking and just stared in confusion at the female in front of her. Where were her arms? Why were there tentacles instead of arms? She rubbed her eyes for a second, and blinked several times. Was she just so exhausted that she was seeing things? Oh dear. Well, she better confirm this fact, and maybe she wouldn't seem like a complete nut.

"U-um, actually miss, do you mind if I ask something? Do, erm, you have tentacles instead of human arms?"

"I make it a point to talk to new people. Primarily to see if they’re interested in the Quizbowl team, but sometimes they’re interesting in their own right. Like you. They tend to know a lot of unique stuff."

After all, it had been an interesting conversation so far.

"Mm, that's always a good thing to do, actually! I've been interested in joining clubs, but I don't think I could do the whole Quizbowl thing... I'm more likely to join a debate team, or help around with preparations for events and stuff, like a preparation committee! Actually, I've been asking a bunch of people, but do you know of any clubs I can join? I've been just itching to join some clubs, but some people don't seem to know if any exist!"

Yuily looked curiously at the bottle, holding it at the neck, before looked up at the short-haired girl. Yuily stuck it out toward her, giving a small awkward smile. 

"U-um, I don’t know if you would exactly like this, but, erm… I don’t mind if you give this to someone else, if you don’t like it at all, that is."

She let out a large yawn, blinking tiredly as she did, and she moved to sit on the ground. How curious, this all was.
