lots of weaknesses masquerade as strength, I've noticed in my quest to become a more evolved version, to learn skills not native to my self/personality
my mother tended to squash any sense of capability or independence, unless she wanted to ignore me completely, then she berated my desire for support and affection.
some parents raise more children and responsibilities than they can handle. some parents should not be parents at all, ever. this is why I support abortion. women who are not ready to be parents, or possibly a single parent, should not bear children.
children always pay for the shortcomings of parents -- that price should not consume the bulk of their lifespan.
