real talk here though, jane is definitely the stereotypical tomboy, she loves doing anything and everything to prove her masculine side, but she also has her typical feminine side, she loves dresses and skirts, flower print shirts, and she likes having braids in her hair, she enjoys flowers and nature, but she also enjoys watching the boys football team, and she’s a gymnast herself. she is well spoken, kind and polite, but she does know when to take control and be firm, jane is independent , but weak for both of her uncles attention ━ she doesn’t have a favourite uncle, they are both her favourite, and she loves spending time with both. she doesn’t think her uncle john is boring, and she doesn’t think her uncle michael is childish, in fact to her, they are just right. she can’t sew like her mother, but she’s a fantastic artist and loves photography. she’s played girls rugby, and loves getting her clothes mucky and thick and mud, and once kicked off because she wanted to play full contact rugby with the boys, and she was denied.
does anyone want to plot? like this if you’re interested at all, and i’ll contact you. bare in mind, i need to add her basic details and she follows the chapter given to us by j.m, ( but i can switch and use a disney verse if you prefer! )

years rolled on, and wendy had a daughter. this ought not to be written in ink, but in a golden splash. she was called jane, and always had an odd inquiring look, as if from the moment she arrived on the mainland, she wanted to ask questions. when she was old enough to ask them, they were mostly about peter pan. she loved to hear about peter, and wendy told her all she could remember in the very nursery from which the famous flight had taken place. it was jane’s nursery now, for her father had bought it at the three per cents from wendy’s father, who was no longer fond of stairs … once a week, jane’s nurse had her evening off; and then it was wendy’s part to put jane to bed. that was the time for stories. it was jane’s invention to raise the sheet over her mothers head and her own, thus making a tent, and in the awful darkness to whisper:━ ❛ what do we see now? ❜ ❛ i don’t think i see anything to-night, ❜ says wendy, with a feeling that if nana were here, she would object to further conversation. ❛ yes, you do, ❜ says jane, ❛ you see when you were a little girl. ❜ ❛ that is a long time ago, sweetheart, ❜ says wendy. ❛ ah me, how time flies! ❜ ❛ does it fly, ❜ asks the artful child, ❛ the way you flew when you were a little girl? ❜ j.m barrie influenced jane darling. written by ellis.

can i point out: that if you think jane is boring and self centered, quick tempered and does not believe in peter pan? the disney film, return to neverland, is incorrect, very incorrect. jane loves the story of peter pan and would constantly ask her mother questions about him, and what wendy can remember of her flight to neverland and her role as mother to the lost boys, just like her mother was, at a young age, jane believes in the story of peter pan, even when her mother is questioning herself, and unsure as to whether she ‘actually flew’ or not, to which, jane firmly states that wendy did fly. also when peter arrived to her house, he announced he was coming back for his mother, so that they could go back to neverland, to continue spring cleaning, ( to which wendy can no longer do, because she is an adult ) so jane went, and jane was NOT against the idea of being peter’s mother, in fact she stressed to her mother that she had to go, since wendy can no longer fly. also, jane did not steal peter pan from wendy, peter pan was never wendy’s in the first place, and j.m also stated within the book, that the cycle would continue, which it did. jane’s daughter also went off to neverland to fulfil the role of mother, and so did her daughter, and so on.
That thing is still in there. And we can’t just sit here and let it get them, too. We can’t. You still wanna try it out? I wanna finish what we started. I want to kill it.

you are beautiful, nancy wheeler.
“I’m her daughter!"
Funny story actually. There is one merch for Jane that I know of. When I was little I had a tiny 3 inch doll of her. I could never ever go to be without it. My parents ended up having to buy another one for backup.
