Maybe I’m screaming into the void here but the other week I visited the Baltimore Museum of Art and was genuinely blown away by the amount of Ai artist statements and descriptions.

Here’s an example of one ai description for an exhibition ADVOCATING FOR NATURE CONSERVATION !!

The artworks are not “inviting me” or “asking me” shit. THIS IS A MUSEUM. If the whole point of art is to create your own interpretation based on your life and your culture and your background doesn’t having an ai description “telling” the viewer what and how to think about the art that they are seeing completely eradicates all diversity of thought?? Am i going crazy??
