Seekae - Test And Recognize (Flume Rework)

When I'm DJ-ing at a party and the party is near the end when people are exhausted, I like to play this song. It creates a mysterious mood that somehow makes the atmosphere fresh again.

I have to admit, the original Test and Recognize is way too modern for me to appreciate. But Flume did a fantastic job of remaking this track. The eerie intro just draws you in and makes you want to find out more about the song. It is perfectly made. The eeriness continues throughout the song, but it melodically fits perfectly

This song is so powerful. Each chord is in its perfect place, each phrase is passionate, and everything about this is so beautiful. I love this live version so much... at 3:19, when they harmonize that phrase, it feels like a grand entrance to heaven.

I'm not gonna lie, I dance like no one is watching whenever I hear this song. It is so groovy. The ascending diminished chord and.. my god it's perfect.

This song was part of Michael Jackson's unreleased album, and was released later with Justin Timberlake's vocal. It is an amazing song.

Green Day - Last Night on Earth (Live)

This is a great love song. "Sending all my love to you" is repeated over and over throughout the song. In this version, Billie Joe Armstrong sings it as if his energy was drained out to express his helpless uncontrollable love stand out even more. I absolutely love the subtle guitar strum @ 1:54

I used to practice this song over and over on my guitar and practiced singing it. I wanted to sing this song for the 2nd year anniversary to my significant other. But that day never came. I was cheated on. Although this song breaks my heart whenever I listen to it, it is probably the one of the most genuine love songs out there. Maybe one day I will get to sing it for someone finally.

We all experience bad break up one day. It sucks. It feels like you will never be the same person again. But soon, you move on, and you find a new significant other that saves you and helps you find who you once were again. I feel like this song explains what I just said perfectly. 

Hey Ocean! is a band from Vancouver. I have been listening to them a lot these days because they remind me of Vancouver and I'm kind of homesick. I am so excited for their concert on May 31st. I am so happy that they will be in Vancouver while I'm there :)
