In all seriousness though, they probably aren’t going to want to be seen with the likes of us once we’re all back in town. The class division isn’t as bad as it was on the Titanic, but it still exists, Jewels.”
“It sounds like both of our mouths have been places they shouldn’t have been so what harm is a little kiss gonna do? I have nothing to hide so I’m not worried; my closest is clear of any skeletons. Can you say the same?”
“You’re right. If kissing will help me forget the fact that there’s some malicious asshole revealing the dark secrets of everyone’s past, then so be it. “sounds pretty romantic. are you sure you want me to be your rose?” she asked. he was actually kind of funny, and if she were being honest, she’d always kind of wanted to go cage diving with sharks; though she knew he wasn’t serious. she didn’t think he was, anyway. “and besides, how do i know you won’t let me go? i know you might only have a few more days to live, maybe even hours, but i’m not so sure i want to go down with you.”
“you know what they say, only the good die young. i’ve done some pretty shitty things, but if they’re speaking in terms of good in bed, then...” he bragged, unable to keep a serious face as he burst out laughing.
“sure, why not? i don’t think it really matters who you complete your bucket list with, as long as you’re able to say you did it. unless it’s like, skinny dipping or something... and think of it this way, if i let you go, then you’re able to say you went cliff diving too. it’s basically a bargain deal. don’t you trust me? it’s quite possible that i’m the craziest son of a bitch you’ve met recently, but at least i know how to have fun.”
“Okay but I was coming from a house with like eight kids, I needed something to fall asleep with all the screaming that went on. So thats my excuse. I would barely remember what you had told me in the morning, Ash. You basically talking to a wall. Yeah, I have some. I stalked up before coming here, I knew I would need it but this is really the only time I’ve used it so far. Whos your roommate?”
“Eight kids and you’re one of the only ones who still talks to me. Heartbreaking, really. It’s like I’m a sad grandpa in a nursing home. “oh, so i’m guessing their vacation from you is year round then? smart. well, you might as well explain yourself to me. this is a reality show, there’s no way you’ll remain some big mystery forever so stop acting like you’re one. in fact, i wouldn’t be surprised if your name shows up in the next big reveal.”
“Okay, but like. NyQuil is one of the best medicines out there. It’s never changed, it’s always been that same green death fucking flavour. Cause by the time you go ‘Hey this taste like-“ Bang you’re in the coma already! On the back of the box it says ‘May cause drowsiness’ what it should say is 'don’t make any fucking plans.’ Yeah, I’m on a lot of NyQuil right now.”
“I remember when my uncle literally had to hide that shit from you. They say everyone’s first addiction is caffeine, but I swear yours was NyQuil. I gotta admit though, I’m kinda glad that you always used it. I can’t even name the number of times I had deep conversations with you while your body was in an altered state of consciousness. You were such a great listener during times of trouble, never interrupted me once. By the way, do you still have any on you? My roommate situation is kinda awkward and I’m looking to avoid them as much as possible.”
“are you sure you’re not the one practicing voodoo?? i don’t know what else would make my sister give you cupcakes, or anyone that isn’t sam or lenny… and thanks?– i guess??”
“i really can’t tell if that was some kind of pick up line or if you’re being completely genuine about it.”
“no, but i probably should take it up as a hobby. it’d be fun to see the people here make total fools out of themselves, not that they haven’t already... the only reason she gave one to me is because she claimed i was the only one around, so my guess is that they were poisoned.”
“it was a little bit of both, really. see, the poison hasn’t kicked in yet, so i might as well live while i can. after i find someone to reenact the titanic pose with me on one of the nearest cliffs, i plan on going cage-diving with sharks.”
“no way. i don’t go running to my dad whenever i have issues. i think i can handle myself just fine on my own. the much worse is me making your life hell in this house because i can. sorry to burst your bubble, but you can’t make me cry. though, i’d love to see you try. i think you need a little help with your weird obsession with me honestly. now that i think about it, i haven’t counted how many i have. maybe as many food stamps as you do? don’t steal my shit, ashton. that’s funny, because i could’ve sworn you were high as fuck last night. maybe you just wished i said that. even if i was drunk, i would never say that about you. you made me fall on the fucking floor. that’s adorable. and you’ll live in a beach shack too? damn, and here i was thinking people liked it when i complained about them. that’s actually a pretty good idea, but i don’t know if i want to go out of my way to help you.”

“you say she’s nasty, but from what i remember you’re the one that dared her to go streaking. you’re not fooling me, imogene. i saw you go out there and watch her too.” he was just trying to annoy her at this point and he couldn’t help but laugh. “on a more serious note though, i couldn’t agree more. people who wear their hearts on their sleeve are stupid and just asking to get hurt. as cruel as it sounds, i’m happy that idiots like that exist though because they make me feel better about myself.”
“i’m not unappreciative it’s just the same as back home. everyone thinks new york is so special unless they actually live there. every place is someones home so it’s just all the same to me. besides i don’t believe in useless vacations when it’s a private paradise enough for me at home.”
“i’m sorry, since when have hawaii and new york ever been alike? dude, i’m seriously starting to think you must’ve hit your head or something. why did you even agree to come here if it’s so useless? did mommy and daddy send you away so they could get a vacation from your negative attitude? because at this point i can’t say i blame them.”

Task One: The First Interview
Let’s start of by telling everyone your name, age and what school you used to go to and what you’re doing now!
“My name is Ashton Rousseau, very french I know. ;-) I’m nineteen and a graduate from Stoney Pointe High. As of right now, I really don’t have a whole lot going on in my life. Since a majority of the scholarships offered around town went to the St Vic kids...but that’s a different story for a different day. But so far, I’ve made it my goal to save up for my very own surfboard so I can shred that shit as much as possible.”
Tell the fans a little bit about yourself, what you’re like as a person, what good and bad traits you have.
“Believe it or not, I take a lot of pride in where I come from, so next time you think of badmouthing me or my people.. watch out. I guess that makes me loyal, huh? However, if I ever feel betrayed by you, you’re dead to me. I’m told I’m great at holding grudges, but I think I just have a good judge of character. Also, Lennox thinks I’m cute, but it’s not like she’ll ever admit to it. Add attractive to my list of positives, I guess.”
So you just saw the house, you took the tour, you saw the view, what did you think of everything?
“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, I still can’t believe I’m here. If it weren’t for this show, I never would’ve had the chance to leave New York. Even though a lot of the people here are unappreciative brats, I will always remain grateful.”
What was your reaction when you found out who your roommate was? Do you get along with your roommate?
“I’ve got two roommates, Will and Rory. Will is alright, he just thinks he’s the next Beethoven or something which is annoying. Rory on the other hand...I’ll just leave it at I came close to punching him in the face last night... But, yeah, I’m pissed about being stuck with the two of them since I’m pretty sure they’re a thing now. My biggest fear is walking in one night to find them getting freaky in MY bed.”
Is there anyone in the house that you find it awkward being around?
“To be quite honest, not really. I’m unashamed of who I am and I’m never gonna stop being myself just because I’ve got some history with someone or they don’t like me.”
Who do you have the most history with in the house?
“As much as it pains me to say it, probably Rory. Back when I was very young and had very poor judgement, we were childhood friends. Carson is another possibility too, though. We were raised together by my uncle until he died.”
You’re here for three months, how do you think this is gonna end? Do you think everyone will leave hating each other or will everyone end the show as a newly found family?
“Some of the trust fund babies aren’t actually that bad, which is surprising. However, I think it’s just because they’re scared of us Stoney Pointe kids. This rivalry has been going on for years, I don’t think three months will do us any justice. They may be alright now, but once the show is over things will most likely go right back to how they used to be.”
