My thoughts on I Discovered a Minecraft Sky Civilization by Wemmbu
I'm not gonna lie I didn't have a lot to say about this one. I was honestly just waiting for Wemmbu to get out so he could go find Egg. I really missed him because this was like the fifth episode without Egg and I felt like I was going through Egg withdrawals.
I do like the Wato Wemmbu duo though. I'm sure they have a name that I just don't know. Hold up Google's free I'll be right back.
Okay I'm back apparently they don't have a duo name, and I'm not creative enough to come up with one so.
Anyways the only thoughts I can really think of are frustration at Wemmbu's impatience and the fact that Pangi was trying to hard to please his new friends and they kept leaving him in the dust. Like I know he was keeping them trapped there and supporting the system and whatever but like. Bro just wanted friends y'all can take a few minutes for him. Justice for Pangi bro.
Oh also. I was mad at Wemmbu at the end of the video for leaving without at least warning the others. Wato at the very least since they're actually friends.
While this is true i also am very surprised ppl dont talk about it more because Wemmbu got THE mace (GAMBIT!!!) in this ep and also got betrayed so likeeee idk if ppl just overlook it bc it feels like a filler episode or what
I personally loved it; got more content for one of my favorite duos on uu (restock duo) and the vibes felt different and more lighthearted regardless of the situation Wemmbu was in

Sorry I’ve been away, I’ve been posting on twitter a lot more frequently than I do on any other social lmao. So I’ll be cross posting occasionally from a few of my socials
Once when I was in undergrad, someone described something as “problematic” in class and our professor was like, “That’s cool, but ‘problematic’ doesn’t really mean anything. It means that the thing you’re describing has a problem, and in and of itself that’s not bad. Art, especially, should always have problems, or else it’s not interesting and not art, either. It sounds like you’re trying to say that this is bad, but you don’t want to say ‘bad.’ Is that right?”
So from then on whenever one of us called something problematic, he would make us talk it out until we could name the “bad” thing we were hinting at. In this particular class, 7/10 it was some type of oppression, and the remainder was like, “I’m uncomfortable because this is very new/confusing/pushing boundaries that made me feel safe.”
Once we stopped calling things “problematic” and stopping at that, class got way more interesting and... we all had to say, like, “that’s racist” or “that’s misogynistic” or “ew capitalism gross” out loud, which a lot of us had never done in a classroom before. Or we had to be like, “Uhhh... I’m not sure what’s so bad?” and confront our own beliefs and that was maybe even more useful.
Anyway. Whenever I see the word problematic, I can’t help but think of this professor being like, “Good starting point, now let’s get specific.” I think when we have to commit to saying “that’s ___” it requires a lot more careful thought about the truth and impact and complexities of whatever we’re claiming. Sometimes there really is some bullshit afoot, and also sometimes it’s art, and it should be full of problems, because that’s what art is.

Thank you Sonic The Hedgehog because his games got so popular, he got TV-shows, and one of those was Sonic Prime, and that inspired an amazing fanfic, and it was so amazing that I joined the Discord server for it and made friends and met the sister I never got to have.

im not about to talk about all almost four hours of footage BUT i will talk about some momentsssss (i should rlly start taking notes while watching these huh… welp, next time!)
The whole plan was a fucking mess omd— the whole thing started with them trying (and succeeding) to save Mappic yeah? so that would have NEVER happened as cleanly as it did if it wasn’t for Minute. I have to make that very clear
Minute clocked them from the second they came in and my God he has infinite amount of aura (im his d1 glazer guys.) and yk what he did? HE HELPED. WITHOUT EVEN BEING ASKED TO DO SO OMG HES THE GOAT
Them successfully saving Mappic made me realize that Ash is… overlooking a lot of things. Possibly bc of arrogance? Immmm not sure
The guy seems so confident that he’ll achieve his goals in destroying the server but if he’s not paying attention to the small details then he’s bound to fail i fear. Mappic escaping that easily, Ash not realizing his people aren’t so loyal to the cause (and not that fearful of death.. well more specifically Minute) like boy you’re getting betrayed in front of your eyes and what?? you just act like its a non issue? The first time the guys didnt kill Planet I would have immediately slimed all of them out. Yet for SOME reason Ash decided to give Spoke another chance?? Highkey made me disappointed in him as the big bad guy like there is NO way someone this easy to trick managed to do so much on his own I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE THINKING THIS??
But honestly he is hella funny.. he has Clown’s balls and… Zam’s…. something…. Seriously why is he like this. Does loneliness really makes a person this delusional or what 😭
Because Ash IS lonely.. right?? Im not misunderstanding his character here am i.. like yes hes evil and unhinged and literally sent Spoke to kill someone completely harmless— which.. was.. so so SO SAD HELLO?? You will forever be remembered Rose 😞 but anyway with all that in mind he is STILL giving huge lonely loser vibes

Honestly the only reason Spoke and the killsquad (im calling them that bc Mappic called them that) managed to do the shit they did was bc they were invis… i feel like the concept of an invis mafia is only good in concept bc it would be SO easy to infiltrate bruh

I get that his whole thing is like survival and bla bla so the only thing that makes sense to me is that he was cornered by like… all the diamond players and was just forced to join— speaking of trim colors why was he a gold player? i would have thought he’d be a diamond player… and is he truly in the mafia or just like… an ally… like yk someone outside of the mafia but still works with them sometimes? OH WAIT!! Mappic trying to set Spoke’s morals straight made me happy.. im not really the most morally righteous person (regarding fiction lol) but just something about seeing a friend being concerned about their friend and trying to keep them on the righht path so they dont lose sight of whats really important and they dont lose themself is very precious to me honestly also Planet and Leo flying in as Mappic was talking about how Spoke isnt alone and how he has ppl by his side who care about him really made me EXTREMELY happy. Spoke definitely needs someone by his side to remind him of whats important and allat otherwise he would definitelyyyyyyy straaayyyy away and do some shit
