The little blonde normally would have gotten very tired of him pulling her onto his lap every chance he got, but right now she couldn’t care less she wanted to be as close to him as possible. Dove looked at her boyfriend shocked when the words left his mouth, “What?” She stuttered. Of course she loved Chai more than anything and she knew she wanted a future with him but she had no idea he was also thinking the same thing.

He chuckled at her usual eyeroll at his flirtatious actions, coming back soon enough with plates and drinks, opening up the food on the table in front of the couch. Once comfortable with her he chuckled lightly at her response, kissing her softly, “You heard me, gorgeous.” Grinning and rubbing his hands up and down her waist ”I’m gonna marry you one day.” He stated once more in a matter of fact tone. “I mean, eunless you don’t wanna marry me.” He teased lightly, hoping she did rather.

“Real it is,” he stated simply with a smirk, kissing her a few more times, “I mean that too, but I love you no matter how close or far you are.” He stated simply, watching her a moment, chuckling and shaking his head, “Welp, time to move to an island in the middle of the ocean away from these boys.” He teased kissing her once more before tickling her sides and pausing when he heard a knock on the door. “And that’s food, my love.” He kissed her once again, standing up and gently setting her down on the couch. He left and returned moments later with a couple bags full of their favourite japanese dishes. “Here is some fresh food i slaved over my phone for minutes preparing.” Smirking and setting the bags down on the coffee table. “I’ll grab us drinks, you wanna set everything up?” Kissing her forehead before he parted to venture to the kitchen.

“Can we eat on the couch? I don’t wanna move.” Dove said blushing looking up at him with a shy little smile. “You will never have to worry about any of those other guys you’re the only one that I want. You’re also an amazing chef!” She teased laughing as she drug herself off the couch.

“We get to go buy a tree, real or fake,” he paused thinking about it, “and everything to decorate a tree with.” He chuckled, looking over her face, listening to her speak, smirking, “that pent up sex is intense,” he kissed her a long moment, fingers on her back haulting a moment, focusing on the kiss, deep but slow and sweet. His hand slipped under her shirt in the back, slowly brushing his fingers over her soft skin. “And of course you were here in a new place alone, without me to help out.” His other hand moving up to cup her cheek, giving her a gentle kiss smirking against her lips. “But i’m here now, we can decorate for christmas, we can make up for lost time, and i won’t be going anywhere until i finish my next book and all that. In which you’re coming with.” He smirked, kissing her one more, deeper this time, though not initiating anything just yet, wanting to savor sweet kisses for now.

“Our first christmas as a couple!” Dove said excitedly. “I wish I could have gone with you this time, but you know what they say about distance!” She said with a little smile before she was cut off by his lips against hers again. Chai smirked and chuckled to himself, getting off the phone and placing it on the entry way table with his wallet before grabbing a blanket and coming waltzing on over to the couch. “I missed you too, gorgeous.” He grinned, “I ordered japanese food.” Using one arm to lift her from the couch, plopping down with her on top of him, covering them with the blanket, his hands still taking the liberty to feel up his beautiful girlfriend. “I missed doing everything with you, having you sleep next to me, kisses, eating together, watching stupid netflix movies together, being naughty in places we shouldn’t. everything. It’s hard to not have you at my side,” Pressing his lips to hers once more.

Dove cuddled in close to her boyfriend, biting her lip as his hands roamed to places they shouldn’t, but she loved every second of it. “I missed all of that too baby. Life is so much more boring without you here and way more lonely.” Dove said sticking out her bottom lip as she pouted. “I can’t even imagine how it must have been for you. You’re first book tour with a girlfriend, but she wasn’t with you.”

Hearing the front door open and close the blonde couldn’t scramble to her feet fast enough. The couple had been separated for three months while Chai was on his book tour, something that the couple had planned to do together, but after the move it just wasn’t possible for Dove. Running through the apartment Dove headed towards the familiar voice and threw herself into the arms of her boyfriend as soon as she reached him.

Chai chuckled to himself as he heard the light thumping of dove’s feet as she navigated the apartment and immediately threw herself into him. Luckily, Chai was quick to react, knowing exactly what she was aiming for when she came sprinting, opening his arms up for her. He caught Dove, lifting her off her feet and spinning her around before setting her down and kissing her forehead. Chai’s hand finding her hair as he held her close, other arm holding around her waist. “Honey I’m home.” He mumbled into her hair as a light joke, chuckling.
